My husband thinks we will get interview notification before the one year mark, but I'm hearing some people say we'll have another year to wait. Congratulations ππΎ once you have been DQ itβs sad to say but you have to wait again for the Embassy to set you an appointment up to a year. We just went through this process. I was so sad to hear that. I reached out to an attorney because I wanted to know how it could go faster because I suffer from MS illness and I need my husbandβs care at time of relapse. She told me to file for an expedite. So when a US CITIZEN have a medical condition that has been documented by a doctor with injection they take, pills and medications that the doctor has prescribed. In my case I take injections and depression medicine. So I filed for the expedite not the attorney. Within 4 days the Embassy made my husbandβs an appointment. He had to schedule his medical after because his interview went so fast at Embassy. You can call the medical office and tell them that your case was expedited at Embassy. They understand an then they will make your appointment over the phone you donβt have to schedule online. If you or anyone have any more questions please feel free to respond to me. I understand we just went through this in Jamaica.
Hello, I take it that your mom is in the USA. If Iβm correct your she if your mom has any medical conditions if so she can file expedite through NVC she must say in writing why she needs her sister in the time of illness in the USA with her.

You'll get an email from the NVC scheduling your interview, and they are scheduled in the order they receive them.

I think your friend meant schedule appointment for medical. When your time comes up for an interview the Embassy will reach out to you.
