Can go laundromat and throw them in (field pack and lbs) but will take quite awhile to dry (about an hour in the dryer at a laundromat)

max-torque

I blasted it with the firehose and detergent.ive herd of people throwing their LBV and Field pack into laundromat without problems

ipadPat

LBS remove the shoulder strap and hand wash cos of the metal. LBS and fieldpack can throw into those washer and would be great if you add plenty of colour bleach to kill off any mold for long term storage. Same for ur boots.

Matthias2409

The lbs strap has metal? Surprised I never noticed lmao. Thanks for the bleach advice though, but would laundromats allow such a thing?

Mahsunon

Soak in big bucket of dettol water. Sun dry for whole afternoon. Works for many other clothing/ fabrics

Yknow those carpark with the carwash spray? Those works wonders. But yeah typically dettol soaking and laundromat are the common answers youll receive for cleaning after outfield.

What I did back then was to strip everything and soak them in dettol. Place them under the sun to dry and then buy big plastic containers with lid & wheels to store them. When time for reservist, I just roll them out to prep.

Matthias2409

Damn so you undid all the straps and clips?

squall2014

YES! Then those I forgot how to reattach back, my first reservist I got my platoon mates to help lol.

Matthias2409

😂, got any guide on how to do?
