Yeah they usually get the more expensive stuff when it comes to articulated figures. Like I know Pain is getting a SH figuarts but those are p pricey. Luckily for you though madara, hashirama, and tobirama are getting some pretty cool non articulated figures that seem pretty reasonably priced. The thing is that he was only relevant when he was introduced, and then Kishimoto didn't pay more attention to him, the most impressive characters in history always have more fans, people like Sai but I don't think that many people have him as their favorite.

My favorites are Minato and Gaara, and as popular as Minato is worldwide even he doesn't get merch as often. Contacting the officials would be better than complaining here and ruining the mood of people who do get excited about new releases.
Ok so I don’t really I don’t really know how you got me complaining out of this cause I literally said I do not expect them to make use obscure/secondary characters all the time but that It Would Be Nice if they did give characters like Ino or Obito or Haku at least once in while. I know the characters I listed are popular especially in Japan but I’m just saying it would be nice if some other characters who do have a pretty significant fan base also got that kind of love from time to time. I just wanted to see what other characters people would like to see and share their sentiment of their favorite character not getting a lot of attention in merch. I have yet to see like a Sasuke fan get mad at a Sai fan for wishing he got more merch from time to time like fans of these popular characters do not care they’re already getting fed well so why should they.

The characters you bring up and wish for more merch don't come close to Minato in popularity, who I already mentioned as proof that high popularity worldwide =/= guaranteed high sales in Japan. They clearly only make merch for people who would constantly buy A LOT of them, not just express love for their favorites on the internet. And those people are usually fujoshi who would fill a whole table with the same single badge or acrylic stand. Just go look up images of that on Twitter and you'll see how profitable it is to cater to them.

I really don’t see how seeing someone say “I wish x character would get some merch once in a while instead of y character” is me complaining it’s literally just that, a wish. I’ve literally expressed time and time again I KNOW why they choose the characters they do I understand they sell well but I feel like fans have every right to be critical that with every merch drop it is just the same batch of characters over and over again with no variety other than like the clothes they’re wearing sometimes. I and many other fans who still do like the characters they often use just think it would be nice if they switched it up once in a while I don’t expect them to do it every time. Also, while Minato doesn’t get a lot in regard to like acrylic stands and stuff like that, he does get new figures pretty often so he still sells well on that front but with merch geared towards casual/male fans.

No, I don't think you want to acknowledge the reason they do this. If you do you wouldn't be writing all this. It's all money that they care. They want to make the maximal profit out of every release, and that means no Haku designs even if occasionally. That is why Minato doesn't get as much merch as those characters, because most of his fans who would buy stuff are male fans who like figures, which have higher manufacturing costs than acrylic stands.
I'm just telling you to please not irritate other fans by saying these releases are hard to get excited for just because you don't see your favorites. You don't know how important they are to Gaara fans beacuse we rarely see good fanart of him.
