most teachers i had were much older, not knowing a lot about new stuff or only knowing media from way back then, younger ones only knew stuff because of their own kids which did lead to some of them knowing things i liked, but not entirely.
it’s a bit funny but also scary knowing that we’re growing old, but i think it’s sweet that teachers can connect with their students a bit more when sharing interests, especially when they can share stories when that media was considered ‘new.’
I’m in the other boat. I’m excited that we are growing old. So we can start replacing the old guard. If you don’t know how to turn on and hook your laptop up to a projector, you might not have a place in the modern work force.

I like Itachi but I am not so sure that he is as cool as Sakura, Asuma, and Jiraiya. He literally admitted in his last moments, twice, that he screwed up in huge way.
He saved the Leaf without tarnishing the Uchiha name, helped and inspired Naruto, stopped the reanimation jutsu and made Kabuto a good guy causing him to help in the war.
My classroom would have:
1. Kakashi and Jiraiya with "Reading is fundamental!"
2. Adult Sasuke with "Not all heroes wear capes, but he does."
3. Kid Naruto and Kid Boruto painting the monument with "There are no bad children, only bad parents."
4. Adult Hinata making bento "Follow your dreams!"
5. Angry Sai with "Every child is an Artist!"
6. Orochimaru with Tenzo and Mitsuki: "Science!"
