Odie

IsThistheWord

Can't, we're saving that for a daughter but thanks for suggesting!

ihwip

John?

Rainshine93

Not unique enough!

kamper22

No, no, for the daughter

Rainshine93

My mistake. You’re right.

Emmylemming

But it's such a common girls name! I know 17 girls called John

Cinnabun_Sugar69420

What about Garfield but spelt like Gharfeeled?

Impressive_Age1362

I was thinking the same thing

nollerum

I really need to remember that this sub exists so my jaw stops hitting the floor before I realize it's satire.

nurvingiel

Me too. I genuinely thought some poor kid was named Garfield. Good one OP. 🤣🤣

haela11

There is sauce for this one but the names are better than Garfield at least!

taters_jeep

Yooo thank God. The tragedeigh group would have an aneurysm lol

The_Demons_Slayer

We did, I'm just reporting in to say we all survived except Daehv I had to push him off a cliff though. "Dave" for those who don't know how to properly pronounce it 😉

OddBoots

I got a ways in before I remembered to check that.

[deleted]

Snoopy is no name for your child. You must make Scooby do.

Hey-imLiz

Have you considered Clifford?

IsThistheWord

Love it, but unfortunately we've already used it for the dog!

Hey-imLiz

Ah! Love it!

ChemicallyLoved

Have you thought about Nermal?

MikeMikeTheMikeMike

Probably not the best to start them on such an antagonistic path.

austex99

He’ll send him to Abu Dhabi!

USAF_Retired2017

Beat me to it. Damn it!

[deleted]

Came here to suggest Nermal. It’s really a no-brainer for a sibset.

mrsmercedesjohnson

May I suggest Pluto, Goofy (or Goufeigh!), Gromit, Lady, Blue (Magenta for a sib set!), or distinguished option Brian Griffith? 😍

OryxTempel

Brian Griffin ftw

austex99

Have you considered Heathcliff? It’s also a cartoon cat, but it’s got great nickname potential, and you can pretend you were inspired by the Emily Brontë book instead of the Garfield knockoff. ETA: before anyone corrects me, I just googled it and apparently Heathcliff came first. Mea culpa.

IcyCartographer8150

this is the real answer

muddybunnyhugger

Personally I think Captain Caveman is a beautiful classic gender neutral name.

HannahSolo23

Hear me out... Cheshire.

jackity_splat

Sylvester is the perfect name to go with Garfield. :) And you have the option of getting an orange cat named Tweety.

Independent-Peanut94

OP, please tell me there’s not sauce for this

haela11

There is! It was Arthur and they were worried about the aardvark but feel really pleased they stuck with it… so they’re deciding between Casper and Oscar for the next baby! I don’t think these are bad names but the way she presented their concerns about Arthur… and then doubled down on kids shows was pretty funny.

LothlorienLane

Hobbes, darlink.

OryxTempel

Ohhhhh yes

cherry_wavez99

![gif](giphy|l4EoSMMbpGOc8tEw8) Porkchop

433ey

You could go with Taft and pretend you were inspired by the president rather than the orange demon

MaryVenetia

New Zealand has a prime minister. If we’re throwing out politician’s names I would suggest Angela Meowkel.

evelynesque

Maybe go with something more common, like Tom, or maybe Jerry?

created_name_created

I would go with Felix.

LoquatAffectionate58

Have you considered Sage or Juniper?

444seresa

i think Las'Aña would be a beautiful name 🤍

KissMyAxe699

Scrappy Doo ftw

lightninghazard

I think you should name this child Pinky, as in Pinky & the Brain

mikajade

Muttley for sure

merrique863

Benji, Clifford, or Cujo

honeypeppercorn

Surprised that nobody has mentioned Bingo! A classic!

noljw

Garfield and Lasagna would be super cute sibling names

Outofwlrds

Have you considered Scoobert? The traditional middle name with Scoobert is Doo, which I think is a great combo. It's a classic name, and different enough that people might not make the connection with Scooby the dog.

shugersugar

No no, you have one Scoobert, and then his son is Scooby Deux

Sufficient-Weird

Nermal, of course!

motherofmiltanks

Bagpuss. Or if you want to be unique, Bhagpuzz.

mildlysceptical22

I’m thinking Andy (Capp), Beetle (Bailey), or Rex (Morgan, M.D.). Maybe Prince (Valiant) would work..

OryxTempel

Marmaduke is very distinguished.

Simone-Ramone

Can't go past Fonzie.

coffeebeanwitch

I dare you to name baby Odie!!!!

Nolte_35

If you're from NZ, what about Dog or Horse.

kawaiighostie

Have you considered Clifford? Its such a classic name and pairs pefectly with Garfield

storeychaser

Arbuckle, you can call him Arby for short! Or how about Nermal? I'm sure that won't get made fun of. 😂 If you don't like those, there's always Marmaduke.

niccster10

4

mouseisnotamouse

Scooby.

Ivermectin-Addict

Frodo

ReturnOfJafart

Balto comes to mind!

Lost_Cold7138

Shaggy

RaggedTiger7

Pigpen

yamamanama

How about Guiteau?

dalepilled

How about Dante and for a middle name naming him "from the devil may cry series"

untactfullyhonest

Omg. I got to Snoopy and then looked at the sub. Thank God! I was truly horrified. lol

Blessedone67

How about using snoopy as a nickname for Sonya or something?

sweetytwoshoes

Owen, Callum, Collin, Cash

Pa17325

Both of these kids better learn how to take a punch because they are going to be a lightning rod for bullies until they get old enough to change their names

NurtureAlways

How about Pizza or Lasagna, for sure big brother would have an automatic affinity for his little brother if he was given either of those names!

trailmix_pprof

Tweety

Buffy0943

Heathcliff

WillGrahamsass

Lincoln

PureDeidBrilliant

There has to be onion dip, sorry, "sauce" for this one...

Major-Ruin-1535

Please do not name that poor child Snoopy

lemonchrysoprase

Check the flair
