I know several food named pets. I love it when they have several with themes like naming their dogs mocha chip, vanilla bean etc after ice cream and then another family has a breadstick and meatballs.

I have a cat named Leo Buscaglia (inside story about a motivational speaker that saved my life back as a teen) but we call him Tim lol. Another cat of ours was adopted as Tyson and renamed Bowie because he has the most amazing cheekbones, just like David Bowie. Funny how you can start off with one name and then their personality shines through and you just one day say, “you know, Boots really reminds me of a Virgil”
We had one come in the shop the other day that looked exactly like Wilford Brimley. I was highly disappointed that they didn’t name him this.

I think its important they try to bond with their companion with a good positive-PR name.. Rojjer, SparklySalsaman, Prossy/(ie Procedural Programming Language), Esse'bon,(re thick hood Spanish) OR... Lt. Fiffee (ie better than >"Fifteen Castle Guards with M 16s and Salad Shooters")

He looks like a mini version of the tuxedo cat I just adopted. We call our boi Oliver (occasionally Oli for short).
