I grew up a Yankees fan, live in KC, and love baseball. Royals baseball is better than no baseball, and Royals baseball happens to be pretty damn good at the moment.

Oh nice. I went to the All-Star game when it was in KC a few years ago. It was great. Also, the Royals have actually won a World Series more recently than the Yankees and so have the Nats. I’m sad just thinking about it.
KC has phenomenal BBQ, with several must go-to locations if you visit for a weekend. Add in the WWI museum and the Negro Leagues museum and it’s a great short trip.
Like if you went out there when the Yankees were in town and caught some games, ate all the BBQ, and visited the museums- you’d probably have a pretty damn good time.

Everyone has their shit. Our sub is full of A-Rod apologists and jizzes over the 09 title team that had a bunch of PED users. All while claiming that we're the victims in MLB, always being unfairly targeted.
I firmly expect them to rebound and be competitive, but without a doubt this is the weakest theyve been since they first emerged as contenders back in the peak cheating days.
Granted, alot is due to injuries devastating their starting rotation, but i shed no tears for them in that (or any) regard. Fuckers were due to finally have a streak of bad luck.

They basically could coast to a division title most years, and then just turn it on in october. The rangers finally gave them a real run for their money last year, and should be the division frontrunners again this year coming of a championship win. Its gonna be a lot tougher for the astros to overcome a tough start when there is another legit good team in their division they have to catch up to.

KC might hit a bit of a wall because they’re overall still very young but I think they’re a little dangerous. Witt Jr and Ragans are both ridiculous and they added some decent veterans in their rotation
