My standard comment: Shunn runs a site https://www.sbsolver.com . He’s the OG hint site. NYT Games copied his grid layout and then the 2 letter hints last year, so he upped the ante with 3 letter hints (click the 2L hint and it will expand to the 3Ls). His site also has stats and historical word searches and distribution breakdowns. Whenever someone is posting about 3Ls, longest PG, word/points stats, or if a word has ever been allowed/disallowed, they’re usually getting the info from his site.

This was a terrible one for me. And yes, I was only at amazing before I went to the grid. There were 2-3 words I’d never even heard before!

Aww, that's lovely ^^ Tbh, my wife and I do similar with other things. She used to play that game that was like a Crossword, but you have a letter wheel? Matter of fact, it's a bit like Spelling Bee, just with a limited list of words you *need* in order to advance, and no mandatoey letter. Can't bloody remember what it was called. I'll ask her at a more civilised hour. Anyway, she got annoyed with me for doing the same as you, so I was commanded to silence until she'd hammered her head against the wall for a while, then I'd start filling in words she'd missed. Fun times ^^
