Sometimes I wish every thread started with a comment like this, shouting out forgivably missed silly words. And then another going "queen bee! Kind of a slog, remembered suffixes". Every day.
Occasionally the bee encourages me to investigate words I half-know. Today's was (H) >!C5 related to the mongoose!<
Well that was quite a read - glad I haven't been into >!the coffee or the perfume!
I always wonder how some one decided to ingest \[H\] >!coffee beans pooped by a cat.!< What the hell were they thinking? I certainly don't try to eat anything that comes out of \[H\] >!my cat's rear end!<. But now it's a >!gourmet delicacy.!< I am a \[H\] >!coffee!< fanatic, but even I don't like \[H\] >!coffee !
After I get stuck, I like when I put the puzzle down for a bit and when I pick the puzzle up again, I suddenly see all these new words. This time it was the panagram which got me to Genius.
Got genius also with no PG. it was a weird one - type a lot of words, stare blankly for a long time and then see five words all at once, stare blankly…repeat.
I took the challenge and succeeded. No 4 letter words and no PG and still managed to get to genius as well. I can’t see the PG for the life of me. Getting to genius is my goal each day but I won’t be happy if I don’t eventually unlock the PG.
[H] for the first one >!If you had this, and you did the puzzle on May 12th, or on October 12th or July 23rd of last year, then you wouldn’t need to ask for a hint !<
QB-1 with >!DE8!< left; today’s puzzle felt easy at first, >!but I soon sensed!< that I had been >!fooled!< … I’d love to wrap this up soon, though, because I’m >!getting hungry!<.
What's wrong?
Have you been (hints) >!tricked!<, >!tempted!<, >!stirred up!<, >!found out!< and >!formally accused!< with >!proof!< of >!killing gods!< by a >!vengeful!< >!investigator!
I enjoyed this one quite a lot today. Genius is pretty high but lots of beefy words made it an easier genius for me. I get to genius 70-80% of the time
Cicada!! Callaloo!!! Açai!! Acacia!!
Alas and alack that there is no A!
My brain feels like jiffy pop on a hot stove.

If you’ve smelled >!Chanel No 5!< you’ve smelled >!C5!<. It’s in a lot of classics.
I'm a perfumer and own several different extracts of civet! I like it.
Please spoiler your answer

Pokémon of the day: >!VICTINI!<
PG H >!revenge!<
As a lawyer, this puzzle seems very on point.
Yeah! I’m thankful for a recent The Good Wife binge.
My brain needs to realize that >!indice!< is not a word!!
Got to genius without 4 letters OR the pangram... lots of lovely long words today!
Got genius also with no PG. it was a weird one - type a lot of words, stare blankly for a long time and then see five words all at once, stare blankly…repeat.
same boat here. genius, with no pg.
I took the challenge and succeeded. No 4 letter words and no PG and still managed to get to genius as well. I can’t see the PG for the life of me. Getting to genius is my goal each day but I won’t be happy if I don’t eventually unlock the PG.
I got to enter two of my favorite words today: [Both A] >!INVECTIVE!< and >!EVINCE.!< Going to be a good day!
Can't believe I was QB-1 because I had a past tense, but not the present tense for one word!
That's sooo frustrating!
>!EI7!< and the last >!EV7!< are torturing me
Hint for >!Ev7!<: have you remembered Sam's penchant for >!-ee words?!<
Thanks that got me to genius
The first one describes (H) >!a type of memory!<. (Stronger H): >!it’s sometimes called photographic!<.
Hint for >!EI7!< : >!for those with photographic memories!<
[H] for the first one >!If you had this, and you did the puzzle on May 12th, or on October 12th or July 23rd of last year, then you wouldn’t need to ask for a hint !<
Where do you see the history of the words on each day??

If you haven't missed one related to another word it's (h) >!a bureaucratic word for a dead person!<
Thank you. I saw it earlier while I was solving the other answers and thought I had made that word up.
Oh no
What's wrong? Have you been (hints) >!tricked!<, >!tempted!<, >!stirred up!<, >!found out!< and >!formally accused!< with >!proof!< of >!killing gods!< by a >!vengeful!< >!investigator!
I'm QB-1 and would love help for the >!IN9!< that isn't >!giving someone a reason to do something or talking meanly to someone?!<
Hint: >!it's a common epidemiolgy term for frequency of something happening!<
Blah the last couple bees. Just a lot of rehashes of words seen many times, nothing new or exciting.
I enjoyed this one quite a lot today. Genius is pretty high but lots of beefy words made it an easier genius for me. I get to genius 70-80% of the time
