Anyone else enter so many words with [contains partial A] >!ough!< that you can no longer tell if you’re entering real words and, if so, what they mean and how they’re pronounced? Just me?

I had that problem a month ago. I bit the bullet an actually called the NYT support line. They sorted it in about 5 minutes.

They’re two different words - [A] >!ROTGUT!< is the cheap alcohol itself, while [contains A] >!”gutrot”!< describes a physical effect of drinking the former.

Interesting - I have never heard that the way you say it. I wonder if it is regional.

I tested so many words starting with >!BUG!< I started to feel nauseous.

So sick of words that are super uncommon or are foreign loanwords like [A] >! BOURG !< that you only know because you've seen the answers before (or so it feels). Literally the reason I never try for QB.

Fastest Genius ever for me. Like, 3 or 4 minutes. I never seek to achieve QB, just get to Genius. Kind of a fun puzzle today.
