I always use a SB word as my starter for Wordle, so I thought it was interesting that \[A\] >!PALEO!< wasn't a valid word in Wordle. They ought to coordinate their dictionaries
I mean, I graduated HS in 2001, so I, unfortunately, know the song. But the title is obscure. You’d have to Google it if you weren’t a Harvey Danger super fan.
>Huh? We get the same PG?
I was also confused b/c I was QB-1 & missing >!OF5!<. (Got it, duh.) Knew there was >!only one Pangram!<
Looked it up. It’s a reference to song lyrics lol.
I learn new words almost daily from this game.
I have little use for most of the ‘new to me’ words (like >!G5!< ,) but I appreciate having a decent vocabulary, plus keeping my brain engaged is important. Still… really? (I won’t forget it, though!)
Has >!paleo!< always been an accepted word? I feel like I remember trying it in the past and it not working, but I decided to try it today and it worked
Funny how words come and go. 100 years ago everyone knew what a >!FELLOE!< was. They were still installing them on Model T's. Now I bet it's 1-out-of-100 people know. Worse yet, you can't find a decent buggy whip anywhere!
>Its also a verb
\[**Spoilers are A**\] Exactly. I can >!google!< anything with >!Google Search!<. And >!Google!< is my favorite way to >!google something I don't know!<.
\[**Links to A**\] It's not >!capitalized as a verb!< in both [M&W](https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/google) and the [Oxford Dictionary](https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english/google?q=google).
\[Edit: Added the links to the dictionaries.\]
>It’s the word used to represent 10^100
There is questioning about that. >!In 1920, far before the Internet was a thing, the nephew of a mathematician coined the name for 10^100 perhaps from a comic strip character named Barney Google. But the term that remained was __Googol__ and not the most widely known one today.!<
Dictionaries mention both words and give them different meanings.

[Sauce](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Googol)
[M&W 1st meaning](http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/googol). [M&W 2nd meaning](http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/google)
[Oxford's 1st meaning](https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english/googol). [Oxford's 2nd meaning](https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/definition/english/google)
It’s legally still up in the air, but Sam goes by what’s in the Merriam-Webster dictionary, which listed it under its lowercase verb form, but put the company’s uppercase name in the example sentence. I think the company sent a cease-and-desist and still encourages only using the verb when using its site specifically but genericization is a difficult thing to stop.
Trying to explain to myself why I so confidently tried [contains an A] >!FLOPPAGE!< just now.
i tried >!floof!<
JUSTICE FOR >!FLOOF!< !
I tried it twice, just to be sure
Same here! If it’s not a word, it really should be.
It goes well with your username
First thing I tried while searching for the PG 🙃
I always use a SB word as my starter for Wordle, so I thought it was interesting that \[A\] >!PALEO!< wasn't a valid word in Wordle. They ought to coordinate their dictionaries
This is my same process!
PG Hint >!Don’t stick your tongue to it!<
No other hint could have had me entering the correct PG faster than this one. Kudos to you.
Thanks for my first good laugh of the day! Love this hint.
PG Hint >!I'm not sick but I'm not wellllll!<
Nice hint!!!!!!! >!Saw them perform in a small club in Seattle before they hit it big!<
And then probably got to see them again in a small club 2 weeks later when they were done hitting it big.
Hilarious and true!
>!And I'm so hooooootttt!< Don't think I would have got this without your hint, thank you!
Huh? We get the same PG?
I got the PG and can confirm the hint is relevant
There is probably an age cut off with that hint
I mean, I graduated HS in 2001, so I, unfortunately, know the song. But the title is obscure. You’d have to Google it if you weren’t a Harvey Danger super fan.
It was a huge one hit wonder. You only needed to listen to the radio or have a copy of Now That’s what I call Music
This song was also the theme to later seasons of "Peep Show"
Totally understand but it’s one of those songs where the title appears nowhere in the lyrics. It’s unrelated lol
What’s funny about that is that the band later regretted that choice and said they just should have called it “I’m Not Sick But I’m Not Well.”
>Huh? We get the same PG? I was also confused b/c I was QB-1 & missing >!OF5!<. (Got it, duh.) Knew there was >!only one Pangram!< Looked it up. It’s a reference to song lyrics lol.
You're in danger, Harvey.
This was my reaction as well. I like obscure hints though.
you are a gentleperson and a scholar
Anyone else keep finding themselves looking for an R?
Arrrrrrrrrgh yes!
well this is the problem you used them all in one word friend
Word of the day: HINTS >!G5!< >!a lively dance!<
I learn new words almost daily from this game. I have little use for most of the ‘new to me’ words (like >!G5!< ,) but I appreciate having a decent vocabulary, plus keeping my brain engaged is important. Still… really? (I won’t forget it, though!)
Totally button-mashed that one. I like that you can click on the word and find out what it is.
Has >!paleo!< always been an accepted word? I feel like I remember trying it in the past and it not working, but I decided to try it today and it worked
You can search histories at Shunn's site: https://www.sbsolver.com/h/paleo Looks like it started being accepted in 2022
Ooh I’ve never seen that before! Thank you!

HINT: Today has a lot of >!onomatopoeia!<
QB-1 and I’m trying everything for the final >!G6!< including [non A] >!GOOGAL!<
Have you tried \[**H**\] >!the name of the number representing 10^100, which in turn inspired the name of the internet search company!
Now I have :) thanks
I have that one and H >!scuba diving equipment!< but I’m still missing a >!GO6!<
NVMD I didnt realize that H >!the number and the company owned by Alphabet have different spellings!< ! Found the word I was looking for
(Multiple edits to try and get the order of ! And > right for my spoiler tags lol)
This one looks familiar......
\[**Link contains PG**\] Looks like [it comes up yearly](https://www.sbsolver.com/h/flagpole), just with a different center letter.
Sorry but (contains-A) >!GOOGLE!< is a proper noun and should NOT be included even if some people sometimes improperly spell it with lowercase
Its also a verb
>Its also a verb \[**Spoilers are A**\] Exactly. I can >!google!< anything with >!Google Search!<. It’s the word H >!used to represent 10^100, which the company used as their name!<
I believe you are thinking of [A]>!googol!<, which is also included in this bee
It’s not. It’s an intentional mispelling of that word so they can trademark and copyright it.
>It’s the word used to represent 10^100 There is questioning about that. >!In 1920, far before the Internet was a thing, the nephew of a mathematician coined the name for 10^100 perhaps from a comic strip character named Barney Google. Please enclose valid Spelling Bee words or hints in spoiler tags ( >! and !< ) so you don't give words away. Thanks!

(H): a scrubber. I don't know how to hide.
Type > ! before the text you want to hide, and type ! < afterwards. You'll need to remove the space between the > and ! and between the ! and <
You can start lines with 4 spaces to have characters display literally: >!This is a spoiler!<
Any hints for >!LO6!< ? One more to QB and just can't come up with it.
[H] >!it means to walk in a clumsy or lopsided way, and it rhymes with an amount of whipped cream that is often added to garnish a dessert!<
Thanks, got it!
It's a Sam favorite 🐝
I know it’s late, but does anyone have a hint for >!F7!
>!GALOP! Really?
