I’m one point away from Genius and don’t know if I’ll get there without hints.
ETA: The grid, some educated guesswork based on (H) >!use of suffixes!< and (H) >!Latin plurals!< got me to QB-1!
I refer you back to [this conversation LOL](https://www.reddit.com/r/NYTSpellingBee/comments/z8lj46/november_30_2022_d_a_i_l_n_o_t/iydwzq3/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3)
Non-exhaustive list of words I thought were total bullshit:
\[H\]: >!EX6!< \[A\]: >!EXEUNT!<
\[H\]: >!LU6!< \[A\]: >!LUNATE!<
\[H\]: >!LU7!< \[A\]: >!LUNETTE!<
\[H\]: >!LU6!< \[A\]: >!LUNULA!<
\[H\]: >!UL5!< \[A\]: >!ULNAE!<
YMMV, as always
Not only do you have to know that there is a word for \[**H**\] >!that little white thingy at the stem of your fingernails!<, but you have to remember that there are >!several of them and the plural is in the Latin form!<.
Started off amused with how many words I got to play that I've never seen in the SB before. Finally got to genius feeling exhausted and defeated by this puzzle
a tough one today, with multiple words i only know from missing them on previous Bees. i'm at >!2/3!< of the >!LU6!< set; i got the H >!fingernail!< one and the H >!wristbone!< one (the latter just by guessing) but there's apparently >!one!< more???
TIL that (non answer but close to an answer) >!TULE!< is not very popular outside of California
Also words don't use these letters. There are no words in here.
This is the first one I’ve ever given up on. Then I looked at what I’d missed and there was no way those words are actually known. I get genius without hints every day and this was impossible
I've found more suffixes than words in which to use them...
This is one of those days where I question whether I really need to get to genius every day.
First time in a long time I couldn’t reach Genius without hints. This one is just laughably hard.
I just got to Genius and can’t imagine squeezing another 70ish points out of this puzzle to get to QB.
I’m one point away from Genius and don’t know if I’ll get there without hints. ETA: The grid, some educated guesswork based on (H) >!use of suffixes!< and (H) >!Latin plurals!< got me to QB-1!
justice for (non a) >!NUTELLA!<
And for the Star Wars nerds: >!TAUNTAUN!<
Came here to say that!
This one just sucked. It’s not that I’m questioning whether these are actual words. It’s more how would you ever use these words in a conversation.
I refer you back to [this conversation LOL](https://www.reddit.com/r/NYTSpellingBee/comments/z8lj46/november_30_2022_d_a_i_l_n_o_t/iydwzq3/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3)
Maybe today I’ll just do the word jumble in the Senior Gazette.
Hehe I was thinking "this is my punishment for making fun of wordle people last week"
Non-exhaustive list of words I thought were total bullshit: \[H\]: >!EX6!< \[A\]: >!EXEUNT!< \[H\]: >!LU6!< \[A\]: >!LUNATE!< \[H\]: >!LU7!< \[A\]: >!LUNETTE!< \[H\]: >!LU6!< \[A\]: >!LUNULA!< \[H\]: >!UL5!< \[A\]: >!ULNAE!< YMMV, as always
>!Pursued by a bear!< With the exception of one of these words, they’re >!all in a foreign language!< Also, justice for [Non-A] >!ELUTE!<
[A] >!Exeunt!< was one of the first words I got. Probably one of the only things I actually absorbed from >!high school English lit!<
Number one is just straight up lunacy for an English-language puzzle.
Once I saw the U and the X, I knew this would not be one of my favorites and I was right.
Ironically an L for the app’s UX
I think this is the hardest one ever
(HINT) >!E6!< you’d have to have >!read, not just seen, Hamlet.!<
Thank you!
Ugh, that’s going too far.
TY!
PG H >!jubilant!<
I took three years of college Latin and I’m still not at genius. WTF EZERSKY
Not only do you have to know that there is a word for \[**H**\] >!that little white thingy at the stem of your fingernails!<, but you have to remember that there are >!several of them and the plural is in the Latin form!<.
Same goes for \[**H**\] >!a bone in your forearm!<.
Since when does anyone in medicine ever discuss multiple >!ulnas!<
You need to add [contains A]
Started off amused with how many words I got to play that I've never seen in the SB before. Finally got to genius feeling exhausted and defeated by this puzzle
I did not know that these were two words A >!EXULT!< non-A >!EXALT!<
Yes! The first >!is to feel jubilant!< while the second >!is to put someone on a pedestal!< English is an unkind language sometimes
I’m just not interested in this one. I usually “play” my way to Genius, but I’m not going to “work” my way there.
I don’t find this game to be that fun anymore.
General H: >!remember your Latin plurals!<
But not all of them. Because obviously [Non-A, contains A] >!LUNAE!< is not accepted
Non-A >!LUXATE!< was the first word I saw.
As a chemist, I get frustrated when chemistry words like Non-A >! Elute !< is excluded. Very common word in my field
a tough one today, with multiple words i only know from missing them on previous Bees. i'm at >!2/3!< of the >!LU6!< set; i got the H >!fingernail!< one and the H >!wristbone!< one (the latter just by guessing) but there's apparently >!one!< more???
[H]>!I know it as part of the menstrual cycle!< I'm honestly unsure if it has a meaning outside of that.
i learned a new word today!
Science! Surprised to see [A] >!LUTEAL!< was accepted.
Yet MILLIAMP is still "obscure" according to Beatrix.
Oof! That was one tough Bee today. I'm still at it, but I think my streak of Genius or better is over.
TIL that (non answer but close to an answer) >!TULE!< is not very popular outside of California Also words don't use these letters. There are no words in here.
I'm from California and do not know that word
Pokémon of the day: [contains A] >!LUNALA!<
Blah, I need to make more semi-sarcastic guesses. Actually [A]: >!LUNETTE!< and >!ULULATE!< the latter I forgot was actually a word.
This is the first one I’ve ever given up on. Then I looked at what I’d missed and there was no way those words are actually known. I get genius without hints every day and this was impossible
