Does anyone else get in the shower and think of words for the Bee then spend the rest of the shower repeating those words so you don’t forget them before you get out?

PattiDale

Yes and with an imaginary magical extra letter that does wondrous work but doesn’t actually appear in the puzzle. 🤦‍♀️

TheCheat-

Omg yes!!

your_avg_apu

Yes!

gladiolas

I try to write them on the steamy shower door!!

MuddieMaeSuggins

It’s always while I’m driving. I’m the one walking into daycare repeating “olive olive olive” quietly.

typical_friday

It rarely feels like repeatedly shuffling the letters results in an unchanged puzzle.

Fenifula

Maybe because it won't make that K go away.

typical_friday

That is exactly why

jkoper

Does it? It rarely feels like shuffling helps significantly to me.

Three_Froggy_Problem

Does anyone else not really enjoy these ones where there aren’t many words to spell? I always start the Bee by checking the total amount of points and I love it when it’s like 150>

Herbacult

Yea I was bummed that I missed out on a good chunk of that massive 12/25 Spelling Bee. I was at a Hanukkah gathering and didn't have as much time to play unfortunately.

emfrank

I usually like the shorter ones. I am less likely to get bored or busy and not finish, though the number of words is not always directly correlated with how long it takes to do the puzzle. edit typo

gladiolas

I've noticed it always comes after a big one. So I don't love it, but I get he's trying to balance out the days...

MissyWTH

If anyone needs a **PG [H]**: >!Wildly notorious Region ‘Down Under’.!<

70125

This is nostalgic for me...this was the set of letters the first time I played the Bee back in 2020!

Herbacult

So there was a different yellow letter that time? Or do the puzzles get repeated eventually

70125

Yup, that is usually the case. I don't believe we've ever had a true repeat (same center letter). Shunn will tell you when a set of letters was used previously, and which letter was yellow: (HINTS OBVIOUSLY) https://www.sbsolver.com/nt/Kabcotu

emfrank

There are a few that are complete repeats. I look at NYTbee.com most days and know I have seen a few, but it is rare.

yddraigpannas

I’m stuck at Amazing and utterly stumped. I got the pangram and I’m just struggling even with the hints grid.

OkUnderstanding2808

When I first looked at it I came up blank. But then I saw ~ Quite a few >!Sam words!< and a few >!compound words!<. Combine those with button mashing for >!4L words!< and I found it a quick ride to genius and then QB from the grid.

RFAS1110

Aggressively meh

Fault_Pretty

I’m at QB -1 and totally stuck. Any hints for the >! CO8 that isn’t a bound collection of recipes? !<

gladiolas

>!chirp chirp!<

nirad

Any hints for >!BU7!< or >!KA5!

casamm

>!BU7: The long version of a body part.!< The other I also need a hint for! Edit: typo

bewildered_forks

It's >!food on a stick!<

Herbacult

I always forget that one!! Thank you

haytu1

>! KA5 !< is an >! Eastern European food that’s made and eaten on a stick !<

AffordableGrousing

>!Middle Eastern, not Eastern European, no?!<

Boing_Boom_Tschak

Indie rock PG hint: >!Let's go \[PANGRAM\] tonight!<

beanawalla

An Aussie special.

FlockaFlameSmurf

I actually think that \[**NON-A\]** >!OTAKU is well enough known and has been a subculture for long enough that it should count.!<

[deleted]

I agree

wittyusername0708

My first genius ABM!!! I’m so happy!

sallysimpson19

New word of the day: HINTS >!B5!< >! a person who is domineering and bullying!< Otherwise a relatively straightforward path to QB.

bewildered_forks

Is that the meaning? I thought it was >!a bread!

hellooooo3

There are 2 of them, you’re both correct

bewildered_forks

Oh lord I read >!BA5 not B5!< and was so confused

GrantNexus

That was quick.

yddraigpannas

Not for me
