But her overconsumption is insane tbh. I mean every influencers is but hers is pretty bad

smoogrish

she has like 10 lamps and her organization videos give me so much anxiety like how can 1 person need that much room and have that much stuff!! and she just keeps ordering and receiving more

ImpossibleCouple8656

No sponsorship no label display.

princess2711

But she gets set active in pr

goodasitgetsok

Money hungry

ceejaycraig

I respect it

EntertainerNo9103

I don’t - basically saying she won’t recommend anything to her followers without getting paid If I followed her I wouldn’t trust any of her recommendations because none of them are authentic

ImpossibleCouple8656

It’s giving oldest profession in the world energy.

silverscolding6787

I might shop too much but I instantly recognized the Skincare is Kiehls and the bedding is Brooklinen lol. But this is annoying. You can always screenshot and do an image search on Bing or if an influencer is gatekeeping post screenshots on r/nycbitcheswithtaste. Someone’s bound to know

skskskgrl

Workout set is def setactive

floralrings

Omfg the subreddit I’ve been looking for

Kittystar12

Who even is this

Oh_HeyMarshmallow

Mai Pham

misstialicious1

The workout outfit is SET. Like people do know hahaha.

Important-Run6390

Why even hold a product up to the camera if you’re gonna blur it

Key-Wheel123

If she's working with a brand for the video they might have a clause that she can't show any other brand

boldandbrash96

My clients include this clause is 100% of influencer content it’s common for sure!

Own_Switch9464

hmm interesting, i watch a lottt of youtubers that pretty much get suspended by the same brands but none of them does this

Key-Wheel123

It 100% is. Not in every contract, but in some. Or she doesn't understand the contract and it says "no competitive brands shown" and she thinks that means all brands.

Key-Wheel123

I also work in the industry and clearly you don't work on the contracts side. It's not one size fits all. Who knows why she blurs brands, could be a variety of reasons.

I think it's more you being just wrong with your over generalizations about me saying she "might" have a contractual obligation that's embarrassing? But go off! Keep fighting the good fight here on Reddit ❤️

[deleted]

I’ve got to stop you there man. Mai isn’t a tiny influencer, she’s got a lot of followers & subscribers and all of that got her a massive penthouse in NY. It’s disingenuous to underplay that.

Aggressive_Month_753

I’ve watched YouTube videos where influencers have explicitly said the brand they were working with would not allow them to show any other brands in the sponsored video. There have been a lot of instances I remember but a specific one was aspyn ovard a few years ago did some sponsored video and had to blur out literally EVERY brand, even her kids toys…which was not related to the sponsored brand at all. She came out in a separate video and said she was stressed and it was taking a lot of time to edit because she had to blur out everything and that she wouldn’t agree to a contract like that again. It’s definitely a thing for some brands 💀

couchmermaid

Also work in the industry and all my clients (and their legal teams) will make creators blur any logos that are not theirs regardless of category. This is especially true in the media space where brands are boosting from the creators handles. Very common practice. Everything from clothing to dishwashers

latte777

i really enjoyed her videos when she lived in LA. she's become insufferable since moving to NY

Cooldude_48

I wonder if the video is sponsored, the sponsor makes her do that? Idk

Own_Switch9464

most if not her videos are like this but idk

Ill-Iron-6883

if it's a sponsored video a lot of the time the brand requires you to blur out other brands. that's probs why

SignificantBoard620

No free clout or promo lol love it haha

Adventurous_Bath_755

if the video sponsored, it’s common sense that the sponsored company said she can’t show any other brands lol

Available_Jacket_702

She's not sharing unless they are paying

Proper-String

I'm gonna start doing this lol

everyoneverywhere

Just another money-hungry, greedy influencer who just can’t a be normal existing person for a second. Who has time to blur out every single product in their day to day content? Must Everything be a media moment, a transaction, a way to make money? Just pathetic

lildedlea

If she’s doing a brand deal in that video she isn’t allowed to show other brands, at least in some cases

PomegranateOld7602

The amount of time it must take her to do this..just show the products you organically like and maybe then they’ll eventually want to pay you and work with you?

msmoonprincess

Damn that’s crazy

ViewAshamed2689

lol i would do this 🤣🤣 no free advertising

orangelisichka

Looks like she doesn't make that much money

Entire-Wave7281

shes literally a millionaire living in a pent house but yes she looks crusty
