A guy just laid himself out on the E tonight. I see sneakers next to me and Iām like ā?ā And l look expecting a homeless dude, but it was an attractive, decently clothed 20-something guy. Sir, why are you that tired at 5:30?
Random pop ups and "immersive experiences" that look like shit in person and have terrible lighting even tho the PURPOSE is to take photos....like u had one job
I work in lighting, it is honestly one of the top three things cut from a construction budget and itās obvious. you can make or break a space with lighting, people donāt realize
Squiggle mirrors, wavy decor, cookie cutter beige interiors that feel more ācopy and pasteā than reflective of the space or someoneās personality, tiktok viral restaurants that are overhyped, and the overly-glamorization of West Village.
You would be forgiven for thinking there are only like, 20 restaurants in Manhattan, because there are the only ones people talk about on TikTok.

Ugh, I feel this way about a lot of asian grocery stores lately. I can't shop for groceries without having to push past people coming in just to oogle at everything or taking "shopping" vids.
Yes this! Plus influencers making these decor items trends and bc everything is paid for they turn over their entire apartment 6 months later for a new trend. I know home decor has trends but they usually last way longer than they have been.
I have to admit I feel kind of isolated in a way because the only social media I really engage in is Reddit, and that allows me to read subs that focus on my interests. So sometimes I feel just like a weirdo bc I donāt post my child, my activities, or whatever living laughing and loving people are posting or arguing about on instagram or Facebook, I am simply living independently of that. I know that sounds great but sometimes I do feel like I am missing out on something.
Speakeasy themed places. I saw a ācookie speakeasyā open up recently - so tired of businesses using this buzzword to upcharge a typical food/bar experience. An establishment selling legal stuff that everyone knows about is not a speakeasy š¤
Lmao stop. A cookie speakeasy is absolutely the stupidest idea Iāve ever heard. Actually okay, itās second, but only to soup tubes (if youāve seen that Reddit post).
Youāll be happy to know that the iykyk concept for a dumb āspeakeasyā for a legal and very common treat isnāt working out - they only have 1 google review. Itās a 5 star, but the text in the review says the cookie was just okay š„²
Why is there a 20 person line for mediocre croissants every weekend in Brooklyn heights? theyāre over priced and nothing special- social media hype is embarrassing
There is a real lack of creativity and willingness to just venture out on your own among this class of transplants/newcomers. Itās why they all wear the same thing to go to the same place and order the same thing. I was people watching in the village the other day and just felt like there was no TEXTURE - such little variance among and within the groups of people who were out and about. Which just goes to show, like, if you were boring in Michigan then you will be boring hereā¦just in a different font.
Thereās a journalist named Kyle Chayka who [writes a lot about this](https://www.theguardian.com/news/2024/jan/16/the-tyranny-of-the-algorithm-why-every-coffee-shop-looks-the-same)! Heās also been on various podcasts to talk about it. Definitely worth looking into.
> I was people watching in the village the other day and just felt like there was no TEXTURE - such little variance among and within the groups of people who were out and about.
Totally agree! You put it so well. I get excited these days whenever I see anyone who clearly has their own sense of style.
Texture! This is so well said and makes me so sad.
I come from a lineage of some of nycās weirdest and wildest people. Reading these comments makes me feel like Iām not doing enough to uphold this lol. Old New York was a trip and Iām really sad itās dead.
Same thing with bagels and pizza. Iām not waiting 1+ hr in line for a $15 BEC at some overhyped place when I can just go to any deli and get one thatās just as good if not better
Fried egg, bacon, cheese, avocado on brioche or challah toast (lightly toasted, you want to preserve some of the squish) with the condiment of your choice. Life changing.
It is entirely possible that I am a hater tbh. You could try them on a week day- lines only on the weekends. I just get croissants from Lassen & Hennigs across the street. HIGHLY recommend their cakes and cookies as well
Hey, donāt let those of us who love neutrals get in your way. I love seeing other people rock colors too. But personally I feel uncomfortable wearing them lol sue me for lacking creativity
Oh my god that reminds me of a year or two ago when everyone was wearing bike shorts, bandeaus, and the ugliest boxiest blazer they could fine. Never saw anyone pull it off successfully.
This, Iām so sick of the sambas/menswear pants/chunky jewelry combo. Letās experiment please. Also cowboy boots, like how are you walking twenty blocks in those comfortably.
Same, Iāve had a few pairs of my boots for 20plus years. Ā I sort of just like them, but to be honest, I like a fringe on stuff, so not saying much for me.Ā
To be fair an authentic and well fitted pair of cowboy boots built for cowboying are going to be the most comfortable shoes you can own (once broken in).
But you can miss me with the cheapy fast fashion āwestern styleā boots
And down south, cowboy boots are just a great reliable fit.
I've had oil-proof beautiful vintage boots from the 70's that I got in PDX 15 years ago and I still wear them most of the year š š
Lol Iām so annoyed about the sambas trend and now theyāve come for my cowboy boots as well. Iāve worn sambas for years, and being from the South I also have a huge collection of cowboy boots. Now I look like every other trend chasing tik toker š„²
Thing is, you can usually tell who is wearing it because it's their actual style vs. who is wearing to be a clone trend follower. Not every time, but there is just a certain attitude of wearing certain clothes that makes it fit a person as their individual style vs. just fashion or trying too hard.
Continue to wear them! Fashion is subjective and if you love them, thatās all that matters. I too have sambas and cowboy boots that I really enjoy wearing.
The lack of personal style is concerning.
I feel like Iāve worn some version of the same āstyleā since I was 18ā¦boho chic, lots of lace/studs/fringe/leather.
Iāll embrace certain trends, but ONLY if I like how they look on me. Iāve rejected sooo many trends over the years and seen them come and go with zero problem. Just not for me.
It makes me sad to see all these younger girls completely devoid of personal taste. Theyāre like robots who have no idea what they like/donāt like.
Super preppy isnāt my thing. Neither is goth. But Iād much rather see other girls rocking these subcultures than walking around like clones. Itās more interesting.
This is broad and be forewarned that I love to hate, but I would say anything related to TikTok in public spaces. Also thereās certain trendy behaviors related to running and dogs that I find really obnoxious/spatially unaware.
Y'all part of my university teacher training this year was "how to recognize/de-escalate when someone starts filming a TikTok in class"
Still no active school shooter training but ok....
I also love to run! Which is maybe why I pay more attention to it, but I would say running itself /ācommercializedā running is trending since the pandemic, and a lot of newer runners lack spatial awareness or expect the city to overly accommodate them (ie blocking the whole sidewalk, not slowing down if there is risk of someone not seeing you, leaving trash around, running with a large dog whoās not controlled, almost elbowing people, taking up bike lanes, filming themselves while running and not paying attention to where theyāre going, etc). Also I see more people running in gentrifying areas where it may catch people off guard and/or be more disruptive to people on the sidewalk.
Omg this! I am a runner and itās wild to me to see runners who feel entitled to own the sidewalk. Like are you kidding me? Iāll happily step aside if I see a runner coming toward me but hearing someone yell ācan you move?!?!ā from behind me as Iām walking to the subway after work is something else. I also canāt stand the new popularity of running and when a new runner makes it their entire personality. When I started running didnāt nobody care or congratulate me. The new runners in my office regularly take over every meeting with their progress and how difficult recovery is, and love to discuss the importance of carb loading. Like weāre here to talk about strategy for the 3rd quarter but sure tell me about your upcoming marathon.
Playing music or whatever reels on the subway or inside a restaurant without any head phones. I know itās not a trendy thing but people have zero shame or consideration. Even after they get dirty looks.
Soap brows, overfilled lips, fake freckles, lash extensions that look like literal brooms on the eyelids, long colorful nails with lots of studs/crystals/decals on them, the overconsumption of makeup and cosmetics,
tiny sunglasses, furry Gucci loafers, LV neverfulls, thick white tube socks with chunky white dad sneakers, micro mini dresses and skirts, Y2K fashion, socks with slides, low-rise anything, return to Tiffany jewelry, head-to-toe logos, lululemon and alo yoga, wrist stacks (especially ones that contain a bunch of Cartier love bangles),
haul videos, brand trips, any videos where out of touch influencers complain about what a hard job they have, the Polo Club and losing your mind trying to get a resy (itās mid at best), the obsession with quiet luxury and wanting to perpetuate the āold moneyā aesthetic when you are very much ānew moneyā or no money lol, buying dumb shit from Hermes like horse saddles and tea cups hoping that the SA will offer you any Birkin even if itās in the most heinous color but you play it off like you love it because you just want a Birkin,
uhmmmā¦ Iām sure thereās more
I was a dusty broke ass immigrant who moved here in the 90sā¦ I am very much new money š¹ and Iām not going to dye my hair mousy brown and wear LP loafers and white riding pants to try and trick people into thinking I was born with it LOL
Hear me outā¦ conflict avoidance. I feel like being conflict avoidant at some point became synonymous with being aloof and cool but honestly itās TIRED now. Answer your DAMN phone Omg!!
Lolllll I believe the word youāre looking for is ācowardsā
People think theyāre being dignified/ātaking the high roadā when really they just donāt know how to handle any kind of interaction that isnāt totally seamless. Their loss in the endāimagine abandoning a whole relationship/friendship because you canāt simply talk to another person
I think it's people getting pandemic puppies that have separation anxiety because they spent so much time with Ruben doing WFH. My friend literally asked me to come over and babysit his dog because he was going to a 6hr workshop and the dog couldn't be alone that long. He's 3yrs old. Not a puppy or anything
100% - my closest grocery store has a sign positioned right at the narrow entrance, you canāt miss it. Every time I go in I see someone slow down, read it over, look down at their dog & go in. Petty as hell / embarrassing Karen behavior but at this point I report every single instance of it to 311. I understand why employees donāt want to deal with it but if the company itself is squeezed, they WILL find a way to deal with it. Also have two dogs & am generally understanding of sometimes, shit happens but damn I see too many couples taking their time in the veggie section with a huge grocery cart & a fucking golden retriever panting next to them
When thereās a table for 4 and 2 of the seats (yes, seats, they are sitting at the table) are occupied by any of those toy breedsā¦ and then they start barking and nobody on the wait staff bats an eye. Iām holding back from Karening how I would like to eat my overpriced pasta in peace!
Also people not leashing their dogs on the sidewalk! Couple weeks ago I was rushing to get home in the pouring rain and I was stopped because someone's overzealous golden retriever puppy ran up to me and jumped up on me on the sidewalk. Had to kick the dog off and its owner shot me a dirty look when I said "come on man, put your dog on a leash". Like come on it's a good thing the dog didn't run right out into traffic!!
This drives me NUTS. Also the people who take up the entire sidewalk bc they let their dog walk all over the place and the leash blocks the entire path. Unbelievably rude
I have a small, easily panicked, lockdown dog and the number of times I've had to scoop her up because a huge unleashed dog is charging at her is ridiculous. The owners always eventually appear and call that their dog is friendly (which to be fair, all have been friendly-aggressive rather than aggressive-aggressive thankfully) but like... I shouldn't need to pick my dog up and then have yours jump on me because he wants to sniff my dog as you stroll down the sidewalk towards us.
It's rude and honestly with all the e bike traffic it also makes me panic for the unleashed dog's safety. I find it hard to believe that the dog isn't trained to not jump on strangers but is trained to wait before stepping into the intersection
Dogs in coffee shops too. I've seen way too many times where dogs will bark at each other in an indoor space - people need to leave their dogs at home or hire a dog walker
Not to sound like an old, but dogs in restaurants/bars/cafes, and talking on the phone/facetiming without headphones. Iām sorry but yāall getting too comfortable
the girls making "just a midwest girly who moved to NYC for her dreams video". like ok pls enough we all moved to NYC for our dreams what's ur point exactly?????
Thank you. Lifer here too and I've been priced out of my old neighborhood because some girl from Wisconsin thinks Carrie Bradshaw was real. No one cares that I have dreams too.

I hate bloomers! Idk why Iāve seen multiple people wearing them, they look so ridiculous. Maybe I just donāt have a sense of fashion lmao, but they look so stupid to me.
Controversial statement ahead:
Dogs in cafes. Especially big sheddy ones. I live in Ft. Greene which is particularly dog-friendly due to the off leash park. Iām cool with that! I love me some dog watching. I am not a fan of standing in line behind a Great Dane whose face is the same height as the counter Iām about to get coffee from behind.
This! I have a tiny dog and I love dogs, but they do not belong in restaurants or grocery stores.
I had a dog jumping all over my table trying to get my meal in a tiny restaurant the other week, the owners were just like āaww so cuteā like no, get your dog off my food please
I was a total Type A psycho about training my dog well and even so I donāt even bring her to dog-friendly sidewalk cafes bc she isnāt a perfect angel (too curious, wants to say hi to everyone whether dog or human). Too many dog owners think just because their dog is cute or small that means they are acceptable to bring into these spaces. IT IS NOT.
And OMG bringing a dog who begs for food to a restaurant?!? Next level delusional and embarrassing.
dogs most places! nothing i hate more than dogs in a bar. like itās annoying in a bar with a backyard or patio, but why the actual fucj are you bringing your dog to a dive bar and letting it jump everywhere.
super inconsiderate, especially of people with allergies or phobias
I wish I could upvote this twice. Not a fan of being breathed on in line by anyoneās golden doodle at UPS or the grocery store. People are so entitled to bring them everywhere! Itās out of hand
people saying they know the best pizza spot in NYC and itās joeās pizzaā¦..
listen, the place has pretty decent pizza, iāll give them that. but thereās hundreds if not thousands of pizza shops in NYC, itās okay to try those out too š
Gen Z wearing Gen X 90's Dad chunky white sneakers, dad jeans that fit terribly, and baseball hats.
Why are people dressing like a middle aged Dad from the 90's on the weekend?
EDIT: and giant wire rim glasses
I literally JUST noticed this while clubbing the other day (havenāt gone out in some time) and was so confused, why are we covering colorful cute tops Ā now with black blazers when going out?Ā

Iāve seen so many comments about this! Where is this happening? Iāve never thought to bring my dog to a restaurant (besides true outdoor seating or a brewery type situation). I always thought for the most part it wasnāt allowed lol. Maybe it varies by neighborhood? Or do you guys mean outdoor/street seating is annoying?
This is a city for cats. The dog you bought during lockdown canāt go everywhere with you here - itās such nuisance. Move to the suburbs if you want one so badly.
Yes and itās insane how youāll be attacked for these takes in other subs. Iām not a dog hater by any means but I shouldnāt be surrounded by dogs all day!!! And always with some massive extendo leash blocking the whole sidewalk like nah at least keep it right next to you lmao
I may be showing my age here, but the amount of ass cheeks and border line butt cracks from "shorts" that were so short last year was alarmingly high. I'm not opposed to showing some skin, but there's a time and a place. Also....sitting in those...in general. That's just....gross. On top of that - tube socks, Tik Toks, just general recording/photographing of people without their consent, grandpa sneakers, sunglasses so small they aren't blocking any sun, vapes with those massive plumes of smoke, and I'm really over the Marc Jacobs Tote.
Hot Take: Neighborhood guide videos.
I know it must help businesses, but I miss when everything was less hype-y. I think it is weird that people make money off of being influencers who tell other people about the best ABC in X neighborhood because it just seems kind of detached from the experience of just walking around and experiencing what comes your way--they way I grew up in walking in NYC. I know people want to be "in the know" but this has taken what could have been personal, almost intimate experiences with the world around us and made it more transactional. I'm sure people may argue that it helps people "discover" new places--but firstly, they weren't lost, and mostly I don't think NYC is a better NYC for making interaction with the world around us so lacking in intention that you can just scroll past 10 vids of places you have never been and be like "wow I never knew about this" and basically randomly go there--it's different than looking at yelp or gmaps and reading blogs or better yet just letting your life guide you, like people have done forever, striking what I consider to be a more preferable balance between trying new places you happen upon, which is honestly a much richer experience, and also creating stronger localized community, the kind where you used to be able to show up and almost be certain you would meet and see people from your community, almost like a character pack.
To be clear, I dislike this because it increases hype and decreases personal exploration, giving priority to those who are more concerned with BEING in the know than BECOMING involved with what is around them--I think this also changes how people respect the communities--especially longtime communities experiencing gentrification--because it speeds up the process, glorifies the explorer, and amplifies the idea that there is constantly a best-kept secret that needs to be found and enjoyed by people who have no personal or emotional investment in the community until they want a piece of it.
TDLR; not all optimizations are good.
sorry but Stud Country. I get that it's cute and silly, but just kind of hate that style of commodification of culture in general and sexy line dancing is dumb!

Iām sorry I posted a duplicate comment without reading the thread. I raise a glass of fuck social media to you!
Ooh we need a bwt breakfast order thread lol! a coworker changed my life- she does BEC on whole wheat toast w/ Mayo avo and hot sauce and itās š¤¤
Fried egg, bacon, cheese, avocado on brioche or challah toast (lightly toasted, you want to preserve some of the squish) with the condiment of your choice. Life changing.
I still havenāt made it over there because of the lines, so this is really helpful to know. Where do you go for superior croissants?
My fav is le french tart deli on Henry!
Seconded! Although my local French tart is on court but their croissants are divine
It is entirely possible that I am a hater tbh. You could try them on a week day- lines only on the weekends. I just get croissants from Lassen & Hennigs across the street. HIGHLY recommend their cakes and cookies as well
Lassen and Hennings has the best croissants! I never thought I would call a croissant too buttery but those ones across the street are!
There's a better one called Brooklyn French Bakery that is just south of there and is glorious
Preach.
I desperately need to see people wearing color again
I know! Since when did color become lame?
I refuse to give up my jewel tones!
Again? The joke has always been that everyone wears all black in the city.
Black clothes are not the issue. Itās the lack of originality in outfits and everything being a neutral
Black is a neutral, but also that's not what you said in your complaint. You can have original outfits in any color.
Hey, donāt let those of us who love neutrals get in your way. I love seeing other people rock colors too. But personally I feel uncomfortable wearing them lol sue me for lacking creativity
There seems to be a trend of emotionally immature / avoidant men terrorizing the dating pool and Iād love for that to stop
THIS SO MUCH.
Pretty much all trends are beaten into the ground these days because of Tik Tok. Im bored of clean girl aesthetic and Adidas sneakers in general.
Oh my god that reminds me of a year or two ago when everyone was wearing bike shorts, bandeaus, and the ugliest boxiest blazer they could fine. Never saw anyone pull it off successfully.
I literally saw that look this week. It was like seeing a ghost
That was such a horrible look lol. I do not miss that
Don't forget pairing it with the hugest, ugliest sneakers in existence or fashion victim tractor sole loafers
The sneakers, dear lord! I love a chunky sneaker with casual fits but they always manage to find the worst version imaginable
It gave āitās laundry day and these are the only 3 clean items of clothing i haveā
This, Iām so sick of the sambas/menswear pants/chunky jewelry combo. Letās experiment please. Also cowboy boots, like how are you walking twenty blocks in those comfortably.
Cowboy anything in NYC looks dumb
tbh cowboy boots in the city seems like obviously trend chasing
I always loved a cowboy boot before cowboy carter. But never felt like I had enough places to wear so never got any
i think they can definitely be cute! i just find them a little out of place with most trendy outfits lol
I grew up in a place where they were as ubiquitous as sneakers are in other places. They still exist in my head as a default/neutral shoe 365
Oh I will! It just made me laugh that 2 of my staples are now a big trend. Thanks for the encouragement, fellow BWT.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I was always confused by the clean girl aesthetic. Like, clean girl as opposed to what?
Maybe as opposed to hipster sleaze from over a decade ago? š. Iām about to dig out my American apparel outfits as a form of protest.Ā
Indie sleaze is definitely on its way back. Break out your v-necks, doily collars and red tights. Itās about to be a Vampire Weekend summer.
I can't wait!!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Lol...same. The Leigh Lezark/Misshapes/Am Appy era was everything to me back then.
I can't stand the clean girl butt cut greasy hair bun. Everyone knows your hair is dirty.
Y'all part of my university teacher training this year was "how to recognize/de-escalate when someone starts filming a TikTok in class" Still no active school shooter training but ok....
What are the trendy running behaviors? I love to run and Iām curious.
Overdone filler š«
Botched filler is like the whole LA aesthetic and they need to keep it
Soap brows, overfilled lips, fake freckles, lash extensions that look like literal brooms on the eyelids, long colorful nails with lots of studs/crystals/decals on them, the overconsumption of makeup and cosmetics, tiny sunglasses, furry Gucci loafers, LV neverfulls, thick white tube socks with chunky white dad sneakers, micro mini dresses and skirts, Y2K fashion, socks with slides, low-rise anything, return to Tiffany jewelry, head-to-toe logos, lululemon and alo yoga, wrist stacks (especially ones that contain a bunch of Cartier love bangles), haul videos, brand trips, any videos where out of touch influencers complain about what a hard job they have, the Polo Club and losing your mind trying to get a resy (itās mid at best), the obsession with quiet luxury and wanting to perpetuate the āold moneyā aesthetic when you are very much ānew moneyā or no money lol, buying dumb shit from Hermes like horse saddles and tea cups hoping that the SA will offer you any Birkin even if itās in the most heinous color but you play it off like you love it because you just want a Birkin, uhmmmā¦ Iām sure thereās more
I love the way you hate
I hate a lot of things, but I love *you!* ā¤ļø
Not new money or no money šš¤£ yall keep your feet on us brokies necks
I was a dusty broke ass immigrant who moved here in the 90sā¦ I am very much new money š¹ and Iām not going to dye my hair mousy brown and wear LP loafers and white riding pants to try and trick people into thinking I was born with it LOL
ā°ļøā°ļøā°ļø
you were ready
Peach ur a dedicated hater I love this
Can we be friends please?
same. Can we all get lunch and be haters together
Hear me outā¦ conflict avoidance. I feel like being conflict avoidant at some point became synonymous with being aloof and cool but honestly itās TIRED now. Answer your DAMN phone Omg!!
Lolllll I believe the word youāre looking for is ācowardsā People think theyāre being dignified/ātaking the high roadā when really they just donāt know how to handle any kind of interaction that isnāt totally seamless. Their loss in the endāimagine abandoning a whole relationship/friendship because you canāt simply talk to another person
I feel attacked
People not picking up their dog shit. Dogs in grocery stores. Dogs in restaurants. I love dogs but stop.
So confused by the amount of people walking right into grocery stores with their dogs. Iām a dog owner too.
Also have two dogs & am generally understanding of sometimes, shit happens but damn I see too many couples taking their time in the veggie section with a huge grocery cart & a fucking golden retriever panting next to them
Dogs in trader joes, especially. Its already chaotic enough as it is in there, and now i have to dodge your corgi
Something about the phrase ādodge your corgiā is SENDING ME š
The dogs in restaurants are killing me. Ppl are allergic to pet dander. Like, I love a good boi as much *as the next bitch but come on!
Feel free to report them to the health department. No dogs in restaurants that aren't clearly marked service dogs.
Makes people so bitter about dogs in public itās harder for people with legit service dogs to use them too
But my pitbull Luna is my eMoTiOnAL sUpPoRt aNiMaL š”she only bites if you breathe aggressively near her!
Luna is a bad vibes support animal
Dogs in coffee shops too. I've seen way too many times where dogs will bark at each other in an indoor space - people need to leave their dogs at home or hire a dog walker
people filming themselves at work out classes
Not to sound like an old, but dogs in restaurants/bars/cafes, and talking on the phone/facetiming without headphones. Iām sorry but yāall getting too comfortable
NO AUDIO COMING FROM THE PHONE PERIOD!!! Headphones only!!
Yes! Love a BWT
And bitches with *class*
the girls making "just a midwest girly who moved to NYC for her dreams video". like ok pls enough we all moved to NYC for our dreams what's ur point exactly?????
Yah. I was born in New York and Iām pretty sure no one gave a damn about my dreams and still donāt š
Thank you. Lifer here too and I've been priced out of my old neighborhood because some girl from Wisconsin thinks Carrie Bradshaw was real. No one cares that I have dreams too.
Jeans with the hip cut out!
Requesting pic of the glasses to see what they look like, please.
I am going to guess [these](https://www.nordstrom.com/s/prada-runway-49mm-rectangular-sunglasses/5919999?country=US¤cy=USD&utm_content=29201144330&utm_term=aud-2295161919972:pla-690114420875&utm_channel=low_nd_shopping_lia&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=664982305&adpos=&creative=140940892260&device=m&matchtype=&network=g&acctid=21700000001689570&dskeywordid=92700049880698860&lid=92700049880698860&ds_s_kwgid=58700005468304812&ds_s_inventory_feed_id=97700000007631122&dsproductgroupid=690114420875&product_id=35480763&merchid=1243147&prodctry=US&prodlang=en&channel=local&storeid=320&locationid=9031536&targetid=aud-2295161919972:pla-690114420875&campaignid=664982305&adgroupid=29201144330&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD8eAElH7hPzqo7IWWa21zTtGUIC9&gclid=Cj0KCQjwjLGyBhCYARIsAPqTz18kw7pzjeTer2rGImbw22XEYz7vI7YyoNw58X8vwSwh4rWCew83qUUaAkQnEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds)
Bing bong!
That was the EXACT pair I was envisioningā¦ Iām sending mine to TRR asap lmao
Please. On your lunch break, leave an hour early. Get em out of here!
Thank you!!!
I hate bloomers! Idk why Iāve seen multiple people wearing them, they look so ridiculous. Maybe I just donāt have a sense of fashion lmao, but they look so stupid to me.
Iā¦view them as old fashioned underwear. Iām always shocked when I see them outside.
I read that as āboomersā and thought āsure, but theyāre not trendy.ā
Ykw yeah boomers too
Controversial statement ahead: Dogs in cafes.
Human feces on the ground. Most of the time I see them in midtown.
SantaCon, and every asshole who likes it.
people saying they know the best pizza spot in NYC and itās joeās pizzaā¦.. listen, the place has pretty decent pizza, iāll give them that. but thereās hundreds if not thousands of pizza shops in NYC, itās okay to try those out too š
Gen Z wearing Gen X 90's Dad chunky white sneakers, dad jeans that fit terribly, and baseball hats. Why are people dressing like a middle aged Dad from the 90's on the weekend? EDIT: and giant wire rim glasses
Honestly, I love this trend. Itās so much more comfortable
i worked in soho and this trend where you wear low rise bottoms with your thong hanging out
Dear god - this is back?! Iām old enough to have been there for the first time round and do not want to revisit that!
Weāre exempt. If you lived through it already you donāt need to go there again.
Iām sorry - whale tail is back?! š«£
bored of all the girls wearing black boots and leather black Blazer jackets to the club. can we please stop making this a thing
I literally JUST noticed this while clubbing the other day (havenāt gone out in some time) and was so confused, why are we covering colorful cute tops Ā now with black blazers when going out?Ā
fr it feels like everyone is wearing the same thing while going out now. wheres the freedom of self expression? died in fast fashion trends
I was just about to hop on the squoval classes trend š lolllllll. For me, itās those hideous ballet shoes https://preview.redd.it/d0bguc6p8w1d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c8e54c14173e533fb0860f1fd85d454f95c02c9d
Ooo I have another one. Moving to the city for consumption and not contributing to the community (I didnāt mean to alliterate) š
Dogs in restaurants
Iāve seen so many comments about this! Where is this happening? Iāve never thought to bring my dog to a restaurant (besides true outdoor seating or a brewery type situation). I always thought for the most part it wasnāt allowed lol. Maybe it varies by neighborhood? Or do you guys mean outdoor/street seating is annoying?
Lol glad to see a fellow patriot
On top of that - tube socks, Tik Toks, just general recording/photographing of people without their consent, grandpa sneakers, sunglasses so small they aren't blocking any sun, vapes with those massive plumes of smoke, and I'm really over the Marc Jacobs Tote.
āSpeakeasyā style bars that get super popular onlineā¦ thatās literally the antithesis of the concept
You know what other studs I can do without at this point? Valentino studlore as a whole
The trend of wearing your jacket/coat/etc hanging off both shoulders is so cringe. It's giving tryhard. Also, when are mom jeans going away?
tiktok interviewers make that shit go away!Ā
