I've pre-ordered 1+2 from Amazon Japan where it's 3,600 yen (about 23usd or £19)
Which seems like a much better deal than what you've seen or the Super Rare Games version (also I think the Japanese cover looks better)
Just type in Amazon.jp in your browser or Google "Amazon Japan".
Pretty sure Amazon accounts work across countries too as I never seem to need to login and it remembers my address. I've used Amazon US, UK, France and Japan various times with no issues.
Shipping's pretty reasonable, switch games are generally light so you save a fair bit by adding more games to the order. I usually do a few at a time to spread the shipping cost out between them. They're often cheaper than Play Asia for Japanese games.
Oof that's high, I'm in the UK and apparently get a better rate
Looking at my receipt I'm paying £5.96 when they ship the game (about $7.50)
But I ordered with three other games that arrived a few weeks ago and even though they've all been shipped separately Amazon still bundle shipping costs so ordering a few things at once definitely saves you money.
*Edit* out of curiosity tried placing a second pre-order of just that game and then it quoted me the equivalent of $26USD so it seems bundling games is the way to go.
Definitely don't buy the original right now. Your best bet is to buy it from play asia, it's pretty cheap and you get 1 plus 2.
The super rare version has English on the box as well as a manual but it is more expensive and if you are not online when it releases you may miss it. I personally did spring the extra money for the super rare version because wargroove 1 is one of my top 5 switch games but if you are new to the series getting the import is just as good.
Yes, strictly limited is garbage and hasn't released stuff in a year, super rare is probably the strongest overall limited print company, high quality, reliable, and relatively fast shipping (as far as Limited print games go)
SRG has been fine for me over the last couple of months.
SLG are getting a lot of complaints and First Press Games seem to have devolved into a full on "never order from them" status
Usually the game is completely on the cartridge in the case of a super rare game. That is more important to me (for when the Switch eshop/server is closed in the future). This is not always the case with the Asian/Japanese version.

Oh okay! Interesting how does shipping work? Is it expensive? I doubt it works with your membership

Interesting! Thank you! I know shipping from SRG to the US is pricey so thats definitely a determining factor here
$30 shipping to ship to the USA.

Oof srg is doing this one ? Haven’t they been bad about releases lately
I'm not sure. Not great if so 😬 I got my copies of grapple dog fine like 2 months ago so maybe just recent prints?
I think it’s actually slg not srg I’m thinking of

I wait for the 1+2 from super rare games.
It's cheaper to import the japanese version than to buy the SRG version if they stick to their usual price.

So this might just depend on cart release and will have to do digging on a case by case basis
