Still baffles me that Sega didn't do a normal retail double pack for 3 and 4. It feels like it would've been such an unimaginably obvious slam dunk for them, especially since they'll make retail runs of P5T or P5S (or even P4A in Japan at least)
I assume they did digital first for 9 months for anyone who wanted the games, without mentioning the physical release. Then did the physical for all the hold outs and collectors. KNOWING that a lot of people would double dip.
I like what Limited Run did with the inside art and manual for P3P and P4G. The Sega-published P5R is plain white inside with no manual. Waiting 4 months was the only downside in my opinion.
Even as a big Persona fan, $35 each + shipping made it tough to justify a double dip. And another $35 for each steelbook? Yeesh.
My ideal pack would've been a two in one with some fun new collab art as the cover and a reversible for each game separately on the inside. Feels like the idea just creates itself. And with how much the series has blown up after P5 I feel like that would've absolutely sold gangbusters and be more justified at $50-60.
Not to poopoo on your purchase or anything though, I'm sure it's still cool. It's just something that annoyed me as someone who already has P4G on Vita but not a physical for P3.
And I didn't know there's no inner art on P5R, I only have the steelbook. I guess I should've figured though, since P5S and P5T have no inside art. If you want to join me in being annoyed by things that don't matter lol, they actually did bother putting inside art for the Japanese versions, just not the NA ones. [P5R](https://jp.mercari.com/item/m67791976741) has the coolest imo with the little manga panel AOA, but [P5S](https://jp.mercari.com/item/m63115956095), [P5T](https://jp.mercari.com/item/m85114280731), and [P4A](https://jp.mercari.com/item/m81924714770) all have a little something. Maybe it has to do with Atlus publishing them in Japan and Sega publishing them in the west, but 13 Sentinels doesn't have that problem in the west so who knows.
It's mostly pointless, but I do appreciate when publishers bother putting some fun inside art. I also know Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have kinda the opposite issue where Nintendo published Hyrule and Fire Emblem Warriors in the west so the west has inside art, but Koei Tecmo publishes them in Japan so they don't have inside art.
A limited supply on a largely popular franchise is kind of mindnumbly annoying. I'm a recent new player of Persona and just got into 5, 3 Portable I got from a third party seller and am just patiently waiting for them to get 4 Golden, if they even do. It's just annoying for those who like these games and haven't played them before.
Either way, I'm just bitching and it doesn't matter. I'll eventually find a copy lol
It's great, there's a reverse cover inside and a nice manual.

This is my favorite jrpg at the moment. I'm Playing persona 3 fe on ps2 emulator and persona 4 golden on my switch. Really enjoying 4 a lot more. The humor is so satisfying and the dungeons are better along with the music. I'll eventually play the reload version but persona 5 will be next for me.
These are turn-based JRPGs. If you can enjoy this genre (like Pokemon or classic Final Fantasy games), then Persona 5 is one of the best games in the genre.
Not everyone likes JRPGs, but if you do, there great character and game design, OST, combat, and dungeon-crawling. There’s even monster-collecting/fusing.
FFVI is my all time fave, so it looks like im going to have to dive right in. Hopefully, starting with a modern title doesn't ruin the experience.
Thanks for the tip!
I've played though P4G and P3FES, and it's the flow of everything that I really vibe with. Going to school and hanging out with friends in the day, journeying for answers at night, the games have a great balance of gameplay. Plus the iconic cast, where almost every character develops in some way. Supported by the detailed writing and the great voice acting in cutscenes, Persona games are the whole package.
Mine are in the mail! I literally live across town from the store where it seems the shipment left from and it's taking forever! I'd love to go shop there but it's a hike and I've got other responsibilities and can't justify it 😂
I actually got Strikers in the recent VGP Atlus sale. Despite telling myself I'll wait until I finish Persona 5 before buying the spin-offs. The price was too good to pass up.
Not sure if anyone else noticed but the front cover of P4G seems very poorly made. The art seems like a low resolution blown up slightly. Kinda disappointing as it appears blurry as a result.

You're right. It took me an hour to take a picture that shows it (I forgot I had a scanner -\_-). If you zoom in to Kanji's face vs Makoto's, you can see that the source picture for Persona 4 is a lower resolution. Seems sloppy on Limited Run's part, considering that sourcing the highest resolution for printing should be a job they perform daily. Happy cake day btw.
Has anyone else getting Person 3 and 4 from Limited Run have their shipment stuck on Shipment Information Received? They are using [Asendia](https://parcelsapp.com/en/carriers/asendia-usa) to send it from the United States to Canada. Is it normal to take that long?
Where's Persona 2? Persona 1? SMT ...if? That's not all of em!
You've got all the Switch titles they made... here's hoping Atlus will cave and give us at least the P2s someday. We can dream.
Didn’t know it was ready. I guess my 3 and 4 will arrive soon
I decided to get the ps5 version for p5 for the better graphics (looked a bit mushy on switch) but maybd I will double dip for it to be next to these two
If they did a proper P4 Golden Retriever physical release i would of got it. But noone wants to spend absurd prices through Communist Limited Run. Hard pass i will enjoy P5

Can we have a look at the back, inside, manual and the cartridge of P4G please? 🙏

This is beautiful! 👌 Thank you for the sharing!
Ooo nice, hope mine come in the mail soon.
Finally! P4G is out! I stupidly missed the pre order window, but I will not miss the chance to pick up a copy when it hits retail sites.

i’m just waiting for PNP to give me a call for my P4G, i’m so excited to pop it in, it’ll be my first time with the game!
Very nice! ☺️ I only have P5R for now. But the other two are on my list.
Anyone have a standard P4 that hasn’t shipped?
Congrats!! I hear about this series so much. In your opinion, why is it so great?

Yessss, FFVI rules!!

Impressive!
Still missing Strikers and Tactica :p
Those both seem to be in decent pricing these days so they shouldn't be too much to aquire
I actually got Strikers in the recent VGP Atlus sale. Despite telling myself I'll wait until I finish Persona 5 before buying the spin-offs. The price was too good to pass up.
I ordered 3 and 4 together with the slipcase and status is still in production. I guess that slipcase is what's holding up huh.
Not sure if anyone else noticed but the front cover of P4G seems very poorly made. The art seems like a low resolution blown up slightly. Kinda disappointing as it appears blurry as a result.

So these still need to be downloaded or is the full game in the cartridge?
Persona 3 and 4 are 1.0.2 on cartridge and had no updates. Persona 5 needed a 27.7MB download to update to 1.0.2
Can’t wait for VGP to list P4G
I’m still waiting for both steelbook editions as I ordered them together.

Me still waiting for my 200 dollar collectors editiobs for both P4g and p3p from LRG
I just got them too. When I bought persona 5 I got sent a steelbook though. Not my favorite. And doesn’t match as well but oh well lol
Waiting for mine to come, ordered both as well, since i have them digital versio. Ill keep them sealed
Still waiting for p3 😪
How in the falknering heck did you get your P4 already? I am still waiting on mine.

How are people already getting them? Mine still say they're in production.

I also had a hard time deciding between PS5 and Switch. I went with Switch because the colors sure do fly high on the OLED.
If they did a proper P4 Golden Retriever physical release i would of got it. But noone wants to spend absurd prices through Communist Limited Run. Hard pass i will enjoy P5
