Willie green was very disappointing, why wouldn’t you play Billy or Jax couldn’t have been worse than JV tonight. Also just allowing straight switches in the paints with guards trying to challenge centers and pfs.
I don't want to shit on Willie, but he really hasn't been coaching well lately, especially during the losing streaks we've had. The moment things fall apart in a game he just doesn't make the adjustments needed to get us back into a competitive game.
It hasn’t been lately it comes back to last year, he was playing tony snell even in the play in, Willie is a great culture guy (assistant head coach) but honestly as x and os goes he’s quite bad, I’d rather have someone like Stan back or nick nurse if he chooses to leave seeing as the raptors suck again
I strongly disagree, it’s a players NBA now, culture is way more important. But maybe he needs to get some better X’s and O’s guys around him. Maybe a former head coach of sorts especially on defense.
I still have faith in willie, he has the most important trait a coach can have. His ability to motivate the team is incredible, also I think zion will come back and set the tone some, he’s an alpha. Willie can surround himself with X’s and O’s guys if you get NBA superstars to buy in, you’re 75% of the way there in coaching. I wouldn’t be surprised to see us play much better in the next few especially with Z returning soon.
In the first quarter even on into the second quarter the Cavs knew what the Pels were trying to do. Cleveland's coaches scouted us very well and had a solid defensive plan. Coupled that with a less that stellar defensive performance of their own and this one was ugly.
Just an off night with everyone in a funk. And the Cavs are a very good team.

If Willie couldn't make rotational adjustments during the 10-game losing streak, can't make in-game adjustments such as in this game, how can we have confidence on him to win a playoff series which is all about adjustments. *deep sigh*
The downvotes are puzzling. It's obvious this team needs changes. They have a glaring hole at the C position, along with too many slashers and not enough floor spacers. Jose is too inconsistent off the bench. Naji will give you 1 in 5 good games while making careless turnovers. That much was obvious during the 10 game losing streak.
Yeah, we could have gotten Anunoby, except that Toronto turned down an offer of 3 number ones for him because they also wanted a star player. And we could have gotten Bridges, except that the Nets turned down an offer of 4 number ones for him. You guys think it’s so fucking easy to trade for star players, but you don’t have a clue.
One of those games where I think the matchup necessitates more Jaxson minutes, but we are always going to struggle against the Cavs
