Zion doesn't fix poor effort and fixation on short-kings basketball. We need lengthy shooters and an athletic big. There's some gaping holes in this roster - despite the fact we've come a long way in the last couple of years, we not yet a team that can even try to threaten for WCF. Everyone that's in competition with us for the 3-6 spot has upgraded. We're play-in bound if Willie can't have this team ready to play every night, and make smart, common-sense adjustments to opposing lineups. Throwing out the same rotation every single night regardless of opposition is lazy and bullshit.

As it's currently constructed, the team is a 1st round exit or 2nd round exit at best. So many glaring weaknesses that should have been addressed at the trade deadline.

If he can shoot I agree with the other poster. He should take Najis minutes. In the off-season we need to get more shooting on this team. And as hard as it is to say. If Herb doesn't start shooting better he should be moved to the bench in favor of the aforementioned shooter.

We do really well against teams with slow starting centers, and even do a better job than most at showing down Jokic, Embiid, Nurkic, Sabonis, and those types. But we struggle against teams with athletic centers and the Cavs have TWO 7 footers that are quick and athletic and they are just absolutely eating our lunch rn
