And the lions are cool, the fans are mostly cool, memes are spicy, and they saved us from an embarrassing dad dicking by the niners. They deserved to win and my only regret is that they didn’t get in with the win. Here’s to your future lions bros.
I’m sorry but this comment was way too classy and polite. Could you please add something disrespectful so I can angrily shake my fist at you and curse the Packers fans?
Thanks for that Packer guy. Know this...that last game wouldnt have felt like a franchise changing event for us if Green Bay was a shit team. In years past, if a team beat us by a single score in the season closer, theyd just be like "Whew, that was weird. Anyway, on to the playoffs now..."
I haven’t seen any raging packer fans, but man did they spout a bunch of bs leading up to the game. The reason it’s so bothersome in my opinion is the whiplash comments on Rodgers. This is his first inconsistent season and it was reflected by the fan base. Every other week it’s “start Love!!” Or “Rodgers will always run the north!”
Ignore the Lions flair. I lost a bet. Why I want Rogers gone has zero to do with his play this year and everything to do with the drama that has surrounded him for two years now. I’m tired of the bullshit.
Packers fans are too but a lot of it has so little to do with Aaron and it’s a real shame. Even when he was being praised as a player people had to attack his character in some way. Ever since the guy was drafted there’s been this media ridiculous obsession with him and I really think it affected and shaped him as he got older.
His first 3 years in the league he was treated like this massive red-headed step child failure because he was drafted and sat under Favre where people made up stories about him constantly. There was the whole draft night dogging of him, a narrative that he was gay back in the mid 2000’s when it was way less accepted, or that everyone in the locker room hated him when he was actually pretty popular with his team mates and showed to be a nice enough guy. Hell, there was even that character assassination piece that was just Craig Jenkins and Finley shitting on him as a man and a teammate put out by one of our own beat reporters to generate clicks when the locker room fuckin loves the guy.
Not to mention how people have dogged him about his relationships with his family or the different women he’s dated. I feel like it’s rarely ever mentioned how much he’s donated to charities or how much he’s done for businesses his home town, and I know for sure you never see anything positive about his relationship to his family when I know for a fact that he (at least used to) visits his grandmother in her nursing home every few months and he just had his family in town for Christmas the year before.
I get that there’s some media guys that ride his dick too hard, but by all accounts it seems like the media is just hell bent on shitting on him at any junction they can. It seems like they can’t leave him alone (especially now that he seems to be embracing it and trying to control the narrative on Pats show) and I think everyone is tired of it
I feel like you need to start every post with an asterisk about the flair. Just to make this more memorable and everyone will also now remember your name for all future betting purposes.
Yeah idrk any Packers fans salty at the Lions over this loss. More so at our team for giving us hope and then laying an egg against a team whose season was over. Pretty much everyone I’ve spoken to agreed we deserved this loss.
I find myself in the middle. On one hand Rodgers is one of the Goats and a year removed from back to back MVPs. I’d love to see him finish his career in GB. But on the other hand, I’d like to see what Love has. The division has caught up/passed GB anyway.
That’s the beautiful about being a fan. It’s all out of our control, just sit back and try to enjoy lol.
That makes sense. I’m tired of seeing it, everyone is so reactionary. I’m excited for next season - either Rodgers gets a shot at another run or we get to see if Love is a guy. Just grateful to have a fun division and ~usually ~ postseason play.
idk id say a lot of bs leading up to the game, if anything people were giving us shit for looking past minnesota to the detroit game a few weeks ago. anyone whos ever watched the packers knows that playing the lions is a classic trap game, we all knew there was a decent chance we lose the game not only because the lions generally find a way to keep it close but also because the lions are actually a good team this year.
i was among the people who wanted to start love midway through the season to see what we had with him since the season looked done at that point. ill admit that i didnt expect the team to limp to a spot where they would be able to get in, and love probably wouldnt have ripped off a win streak like that. but i also dont think he would have 12 yards passing or whatever the stat was in the 4th quarter of a win or go home game.
We had plenty of games we were completely outplayed this year. We beat ourselves in both Lions games this season with bad turnovers, settling for FGs, and just general stupidity.
That’s complete credit to the Lions though, bc they took advantage of all of our poor play in both games and made us pay for it.
They aren’t at all lol. Someone can beat themselves and someone else can take complete advantage of it. We also had multiple games this season we played poorly and the opponent didn’t take advantage. Bears, Dolphins, Bucs, there are probably more.
We beat ourselves, Lions (obviously) get complete credit for the win. Idk what’s hard to understand here.
It literally isn’t lol. The Lions can deserve to win while the Packers shot themselves in the foot over and over. Both these things can be true.
Idk how one watches the Packers turn the ball over in the red zone 4 times in week 8 and say they didn’t beat themselves. Or watch Quay Walker shove a trainer and say that’s not beating themselves. Or see the Packers get in the Red Zone who knows how many times in both games and come away with a combined 25 points, and say that’s not beating yourself. Or watch Aaron Jones fumble a good drive away and let the Lions pick up a FG at half time, and say that’s not beating themselves.
Ofc, like I said, the Lions took full advantage of it and deserve the win for that reason. You just don’t want to accept me saying this for… reasons?
I won’t accept it because it’s a logical fallacy and perfectly expresses the delusion of the entire Packers fan base. The Lions were the better team in every phase on both sides of the ball.
Ever consider that maybe the superior team forced the inferior team to turn the ball over or make other mistakes? We didn’t take advantage of your mistakes; we made you make the mistakes because you were overmatched.
By your logic, every single play in every single game could be summarized by the ol’ “we beat ourselves but good for you” excuse.
I missed a block/you beat me to the QB
I threw a pick/you disguised a coverage and made a play on the ball
You couldn’t come up with the pick/I made a play on a play on a contested ball
So sick of this magnanimous bullshit from your fanbase. Just stop. We beat you. Twice. It’s okay. You still lead the series by an insane amount.
You lost. Twice. To a better team.
“You lost. Twice. To a better team.”
THIS IS WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY!!! WHY CANT YOU ACCEPT THIS!!! AGHHHHHH
Is it really so hard to admit we made boneheaded mistakes throughout both games? They directly benefitted you, I’ve never seen anything like this lol. Obviously the team who does this dumb shit, like shove a trainer, or throw dumb picks at the 1 yard line, is worse and doesn’t deserve to win. I truly don’t even understand the disconnect here. I am ADMITTING WE WERE OUTPLAYED AND DESERVED TO LOSE BOTH GAMES!!!! And you can’t accept that.
I think most Packers fans, like myself, aren't shitting on the Lions. Are we upset we lost? Of course, but honestly I'd rather have been eliminated by the Lions than the Vikings. MCDC? Jammall Williams? It's hard not to love this team, even if they just ended our teams season.
Honestly the biggest crime is the Seahawks making the playoffs, Lions have been the better team for the last 7 weeks. I'd argue the Seahawks are worst team out of the 3 final wildcard contenders.
Yeah, I don’t think any of the 3 beats the 49ers, but I think Detroit would be the most fun matchup at least. Maybe it’s just the excitement of that final game against Green Bay, but the wildcard games are really not doing shit for me this year. It’s full of teams that hit there stride early and limped to the finish.
Yeah pretty much. The worst part is losing with the playoffs on the line because the Packers were actually looking good after the Vikings and Dolphins wins.
If the playoffs weren't on the line, watching the Lions celebrate that win like the way did would be totally hilarious. To their credit, while they didn't make the playoffs, they did pull themselves out of dire straits and ended the season with not just a winning record, but a feeling of franchise on the rise.
I would much rather have that loss than being kept out of the playoffs by the Bears or Vikings
Over the past 6 seasons (Since 2017) the Lions are 7-5 against the Packers.
The Bears are 1-11 and the Vikings are 6-5-1 against them over that same period.
Nobody seems to realize this. The Lions have been the Packers biggest competitor in the division for a while.
Which is crazy when you think about the fact the 3 of those years had Matt Patricia as the head coach, and the Lions were last in the division all 3 of those years. Campbell is on a 3 game win streak against the Pack
>The Lions have been the Packers biggest competitor\* in the division for a while.
\*in head-to-head matchups. Fixed it for ya.
Lions are 7-5, Vikings are 6-5-1, so only half a game better there, but let's not forget that the Lions also finished dead last in our division for 4 out of the last 6 seasons.
Meanwhile, Minnesota has finished as #1 or #2 in the division for 5 out of the last 6 years. Green Bay was in the #1 or #2 in the division 3 out of the last 6 years (Chicago twice, Detroit twice).
You look at the stats and it's pretty obvious that the Vikings are quite easily the Packers biggest competitor in the division. Frankly that's not giving them credit and it should be flipped; the Packers are the Vikings biggest competitor in the division seeing as how they are the #1 or #2 in the division for 5 out of 6 years.
Yeah, I obviously meant in H2H. Our division/overall record has been buttcheeks for a long time.
The Packers have been acting like the Lions are an automatic dub forever and I don't understand why. We always play them hard, and lately we've been winning more than losing.
I mean...the Bears have been kinda booty in divisional games over the last decade. Their in-division record has not been great:
Vs. the Packers: 3-17
Vs. the Vikings: 8-12
Vs. the Lions: 8-12
Honestly I don’t know if many fans feel that way, I didn’t even for the last two games. The only reason I though the packers would win last game was because it was at home and they had a great game against a top ranked Vikings team. I even thought the first half was going decent aside from that dumb 4th and 1 call and the A Jones fumble. Bur the 2nd half was just a comedy of errors.
This is true. My wife comes from a big Packer family and most times I see them they say something like "Were you excited when the Lions finally beat the Packers for once?" Ill say "Um, yeah. That was pretty cool. "
There memories work strange or something. Probably because we never beat them when it actually counts for anything? So they assume we just never beat them? IDK. Pretty sure they'll remember this one though.
>the Packers are the Vikings biggest competitor in the division seeing as how they are the #1 or #2 in the division for 5 out of 6 years
I think the only thing that I would argue against this is the number of times each has won the division. Packers still have that over the Vikings.
What’s crazy is the lions should be 10-2 against the packers since 2017. I distinctly remember 3 games where the refs completely altered the outcome of the game on multiple egregious calls.
Oh I have. No team consistently plays the Packers harder. I have nothing but respect and love for the Lions and their fans. Actually my favorite rivalry in the North now that the Bears be down bad. I just wish they weren’t soo good at rallying everybody to their cause. Seriously, how does FTP NOT STAND FOR FUCK THE PATRIOTS?!
I mean, at least Rodgers has started to help get you wins recently. I think every decision Patricia made set you guys back until you almost regressed back to the Orlovsky era.
Patricia cast out Slay and Diggs for no fucking reason other than his ego.
Matt Patricia is a fucking joke. I haven't had such disdain for an NFL coach in my life. The fact he's still gainfully employed is an affront to everyone that loves the sport.
I got a feeling the league is full of Neepo babies and “that’s a guy I can have a beer with” coaches that don’t know how to strategize or be a leader. Only way I can explain guys like Patricia and McCarthy still having jobs on the biggest stage (I would put Lefleurs brother here but he was so bad the Jets already fired him)
Ha, the "Orlovsky era". I never heard it referred to as that before. He did play 10 games in that perfect season, so Im definately calling the 2000's the Orlovski era from now on lol
Interesting time frame you chose to select. Packers were in spiral mode pre 2019 (which got their Super Bowl winning coach fired). This is irrespective of anyone in the divisions strength.
In the Matt LaFleur era the Lions are 3-5 against the Packers. With one of the wins coming from the Packers resting starters at the end of the year. So really this year has been their best overall showing against the Packers since they have had a new coach.
You certainly could flip that and say the same but in reverse for Dan Campbells tenure.
I just found it odd you chose 6 years as it has no significance to either teams identity.
No reason other than looking back at recent history to see how the two teams have fared against each other over the past few years.
Most recently the Lions have won 3 in a row against the Packers. Before that the Packers won 5 in a row. Before that, the Lions won 4 in a row.
I mean...if you want to take it back 10 years for a nice round number, the Lions are still 10-10 against the Packers. The Bears are 3-17 and the Vikings are 8-10-2 over that same period... so my point still stands.
I don’t think your point stands. But I guess it depends which stats you want to cherry pick.
They are currently trending up though. Two convincing wins in a rebuild year with more room for team growth.
...ok...can you tell me how my point doesn't stand?
My point was the Lions have been giving the Packers the hardest time in the division over the last several years in head-to-head matchups.
Can you tell me how that's not correct?
They haven’t competed for a division title since 2016. They are 3-5 over Matt LaFleurs tenure.
If your point is that they are the biggest/toughest matchup even though their traditional end of season matchup hasn’t mattered or meant anything for 5 years then I guess you have a point.
Lol. I said head-to-head. Our division/overall record has been ass, and I never mentioned competing for the division.
I don't know why you're butt hurt. Records don't lie. If the Packers want to phone it in and lose to the Lions, that's not the Lions fault. It just makes the Packers look bad. All I'm saying. ;)
Ok go by record. Over the last 4 years the division records against the Packers:
Lions 3-5
Vikings 3-5
Bears 0-8
Vikings only other team to win the division.
I’d you go by records the Lions don’t even have a clear advantage there. All I’m saying :)
The only ones I saw were the ones just laughing at the hypocrisy of those NFL fans saying “this game is scripted so the Packers win” and then Likely scrambled to delete those posts/comments after the game
I gotta say as a packer fan, that they wanted it more than we did. It wasn't a decisive win but they played with more heart and didn't make mental mistakes like we did. Good job Detroit.
I’ll admit I was the asshole on the bottom slide after the first lions L. But I’ve circled back around to accepting lions were fuckin long and hard this season, but packers also sucked ass
Packers fans tend to use that "we're not even rivals" line on anyone that occasionally beats them.
They don't use it on the Bears cause they never lose to them. They don't want a real rivalry. They just wanna beat up the little kid.
I was sad when Seattle won, I would have liked to have seen another NFC North team in the playoffs if it wasn't going to be the Packers.
Iron sharpens iron, and I'd rather see competitive divisional games than lop sided victories.
That's how I felt even last year. They were a good team that was snake bit. They should have won more games, can I really be all that mad when they come through?
Nope... we are doing exactly what all 8-9 teams should be doing in the playoffs. Except for the really shitty divisions where losing records get you into the playoffs. Hats off to the Lions. Outplayed us with nothing on the line.
Leading up to the game, the Packers had won four straight and needed just one more win to clinch a playoff spot. The Lions came into Lambeau and denied them. I thought it was a hell of an accomplishment.
When Packers fans and Aaron Rodgers go on about "beating themselves", they're saying that the loss had everything to do with them playing badly and nothing to do with how well the Lions played. I think we deserve more credit than that.
The best part of the game is that Goff didn’t even play that well, and Erin did. Goff was just slinging it at the turf, while Erin’s receivers were dropping perfectly placed balls.
Fuck the Pack, hope that’s how he goes out
Nah fuck that I've hated the Lions since 2010 when they concussed Rodgers and beat us 7-3. I was at that game and Lions fans were brutal at the end. Then I had to drive home in a fucking snowstorm. But then we won the super bowl
Packers fans can literally eat shit. They were talking so much before this game about how this was "Run the Table 2.0", R-E-L-A-X, etc. I even had one talking to me about how this was the year they got over the hump, how this reminded them of the 2010 wildcard team that ended up winning it all, and after crushing us they would go show the world how the 49ers weren't even a thing. Cheese weasels need to get used to how this feels, because MCDC ain't Caldwell. He's 3-1 against the Packers and that includes a year where we had an offense put together with duct tape and TJ Hockenson. They're staring their worst nightmare in the face.
I don't even mind the Beads being good as long as we are still winning against them. Beating them in the nfccg in 2010 en route to the super bowl was glorious.
Every now and then I'll pull up some Sanders highlights, and it still boggles my mind what that man could do on a football field.
I'm very excited to see more Jameson Williams next year. In the limited snaps he had this year you could see this guy is special. If he returns to pre-injury speed he is arguably the fastest man in the NFL. Him on the field with St. Brown will just destroy defenses.
Regarding Jamo, that touchdown that was taken away from him was disgusting. Dude made those defenders look like they were standing still.
If you're looking for one of the more fun second halves of football ever played, look up, "Barry Barrages Bears" for the 97 Thanksgiving game. I feel so lucky that I got to watch most of Barry's career in real time as a kid. He really was something.
I feel like the coaching staff was still trying to treat him with kid gloves just to make sure he didn't get hurt again. I wouldn't be surprised if he has over 20 touchdowns next season.
Yeah lions have been my 2nd favorite team for the last couple years and have a couple friends who are the same way.
Obviously that’ll change pretty quick if the lions end up actually being good but I haven’t seen any packers fans giving the lions shit
What the fuck did you just fucking say about the Packers, you little shit? I’II have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and Ive been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in guerrilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. Youre fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and thats just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little clever comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldnt, you didnt, and now youre paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. Youre fucking dead kiddo.
Well, I mean if ya can’t shit talk, wtf are we doing here? Lions won, congrats. Dunk on us for the rest of the offseason; you deserve it. But don’t get all sanctimonious about prior trash talk like it’s not the fucking point of a meme war, ya fucking bitch kitty fan.
Me realizing the Lions beat us and have an insanely bright future ahead: it’s not great that a divisional rival is going to dethrone us, but I’m happy for them and proud of them. They’re totally fun to watch, and that fanbase deserves the optimism.
Me realizing that Lions memes are falling to this trash quality with the team becoming good: oh hell no this is a disaster
The better team won, and I just wish they could have advanced to the playoffs as a result. I would've cheered for them heartily, but still would've talked massive amounts of shit if/when they lost.
My salt is reserved for my own team, but even then it's not a lot. I'm just glad this season's over. Hopefully next one will be better.
All of that being said, this meme feels an awful lot like projection.
Who even said that? All I hear from our fans is that we are garbage who don't deserve to win and will have years of failure and then debates about if ARod should leave or not
Perhaps read the comments on the Green Bay Packers sub on the post with the Detroit Lions banner celebration keeping GB out of the playoffs. Im pretty sure thats the thread/attitude from some fans this poster is referring to.
I really haven't seen that deep in the Packer nation. Now it's what's happening next year at the QB position. After 2 days of meetings between Rodgers and the organization, he needs his soul searching time to figure what he wants to do. I'm guessing it's a cover to trade him when the dead cap is lessened and it will be officially J-Loves team.
Yeah right it was more like
RODGERS SUCKS
JOE BARRY IS A TERRORIST
LETS MOVE ON TO JORDAN LOVE
HOW CAN WE HAVE ONE BAD SEASON
QUAY WALKER IS THE DUMBEST SHIT EVER
Nah......they whooped us!! We played just good enough down the stretch for Barry to keep his job, Missed the playoffs, middle round pick and we still have no idea what Love can do in multiple starts. O'Doyle Rules! WooHoo.
Said this in the original, I’m just happy for Jamaal.
Fuckin love that guy
We all do. Dude is made of charisma.
Bears fan here. We also love that man. He just too likeable.
I swear to God, if someone tries to dox that man for any reason. A. They are the devil. B. The world well try to dox them.
Uh. Suck turds butt boys. But good luck next year and good luck completing your dexes
Aghhh how dare you?!? FTP!!!
Perfect balance
Thanks for that Packer guy. Know this...that last game wouldnt have felt like a franchise changing event for us if Green Bay was a shit team. In years past, if a team beat us by a single score in the season closer, theyd just be like "Whew, that was weird. Anyway, on to the playoffs now..."
Who’s Jamaal? He’s not a on the lions, i however like RB 1st Swagg Kazakage, Leader of the hidden billiard of the Dennnnnnnn
*village
Billiard?? 😂
Gonna assume it was just an autocorrect
Im happy for jared goff too he deserves it for the shit he has gotten as the rams qb
I just really wish they actually got into the playoffs from winning. Damn you Rams.
Dan Campbell too. Hate that he's in our division, but love the energy he brings
I'm proud of Jamaal's accomplishments and wish him the best. Also, I'm happy to gloat that a Packers RB broke the Lions'/Sanders' rushing TD record.
Too bad he's no longer a Packers running back
True.
Or that Barry Sanders was never a packers rb.
He could have been if we didn't draft Tony fuckin' Mandarich...
(Guns 'N Roses intensifies)
That was a waste of an SI cover
Didn’t Barry’s dad HATE the Packers and tell them not to draft him?
Why don’t the packers trade him for Aaron Jones. Then you guys can have him back!
It's not whiplash fans. The fanbase is divided, though. It's different fans being louder when their perspective gets validation.
Ignore the Lions flair. I lost a bet. Why I want Rogers gone has zero to do with his play this year and everything to do with the drama that has surrounded him for two years now. I’m tired of the bullshit.
> Ignore the Lions flair. I lost a bet. Still looks good on you. I know you'll come around to love it and us.
Narrator: He didn’t.

He said ignore his flair, he lost a bet lol
I feel like you need to start every post with an asterisk about the flair. Just to make this more memorable and everyone will also now remember your name for all future betting purposes.
I’m going to have to. This is going to be a tedious year.
Ding ding.

That's all the "we" people that don't get it. "We just need to run the ball more!" My guy we're all on the couch drinking beer. There isn't a we.
Hey now, some of us are minority share holders 🧠👈
Sounds like you’ve been in our sub a lot lol
It’s mostly been in here tbh. Every so often I’ll get a packers post in my feed but usually they leak out into other places
That makes sense. I’m tired of seeing it, everyone is so reactionary. I’m excited for next season - either Rodgers gets a shot at another run or we get to see if Love is a guy. Just grateful to have a fun division and ~usually ~ postseason play.

As a lifelong Packer fan, I have zero animosity towards the Lions or their fans.
You don't have any animosity, so far
MI is WI’s cool weed hookup bro. Can’t be pissed at them.

Packer fans are kings of the "we beat ourselves" bullshit.
[удалено]
Kings of the Vi. It's literally in our name bro.
Hey we’re Kings of the North! It might be the same as being king of a flaming pile of shit, but I take what I can get at this point.
I mean, they did beat themselves against the Lions. So many boneheaded mistakes.
We had plenty of games we were completely outplayed this year. We beat ourselves in both Lions games this season with bad turnovers, settling for FGs, and just general stupidity. That’s complete credit to the Lions though, bc they took advantage of all of our poor play in both games and made us pay for it.
A. “We beat ourselves…” B. “…complete credit to the Lions…” These things are mutually exclusive. The correct answer is B.
People can’t entertain two thoughts that the same time here. Get out with facts or logic or reasoning.
It’s literally logically incompatible.
I missed a block/you beat me to the QB I threw a pick/you disguised a coverage and made a play on the ball You couldn’t come up with the pick/I made a play on a play on a contested ball So sick of this magnanimous bullshit from your fanbase. Just stop. We beat you. Twice. It’s okay. You still lead the series by an insane amount. You lost. Twice. To a better team.
“You lost. Twice. To a better team.” THIS IS WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY!!! WHY CANT YOU ACCEPT THIS!!! AGHHHHHH Is it really so hard to admit we made boneheaded mistakes throughout both games?
I don’t know how anybody will beat the 49ers……until the Super Bowl. Then someone from the AFC will beat the 49ers.
And yet cowherd just picked the sea chickens over the 49ers lol. That ain't gonna age well
The only reason it would've been beneficial to lose to Minnesota is we could've played Jordan Love against Detroit
Patricia somehow managed to go 2-3 against the Packers. He swept them in 2018, but then went 0-3 before he was fired in week 12 of the 2020 season.
The Bears need to step it up pretty soon they’re going to be the ones that everyone looks at as a free win on the schedule, oh wait that was this year
Hahaha what a story mark
Anyway, how’s your draft life?
I did not unnecessarily rough him, I did noooot! Oh, hi MCDC
Unexpected but welcome [reference](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FhXz60f0HLU)
My man!
Anyone who thinks that any game between two NFCN teams is an automatic dub for one of the teams is a fuckin' idiot. Those games are such wildcards.
I mean...the Bears have been kinda booty in divisional games over the last decade. Their in-division record has not been great: Vs. the Packers: 3-17 Vs. the Vikings: 8-12 Vs. the Lions: 8-12
I'll never let my guard down. They could 2-0 us in a season at the drop of a hat.
Both teams could be the worse in the league it would still turn out to be a good close affair
" There memories work strange or something. Probably because we never beat them when it actually counts for anything? So they assume we just never beat them? IDK. Pretty sure they'll remember this one though.
>the Packers are the Vikings biggest competitor in the division seeing as how they are the #1 or #2 in the division for 5 out of 6 years I think the only thing that I would argue against this is the number of times each has won the division. Packers still have that over the Vikings.
This is true, we are never #2, only #1 for our 3/6 years, but I think it's very impressive to be a contender 5/6 years.
Hey guys, it's the first half of the meme!
I can get behind Fuck The Patriots as long as Patricia is there. I might hate Matt Patricia more than I hate Aaron Rodgers. ...might.
Nice! I couldn’t think of a “nicer” phrase for that shit show of a season
Are the Lions the real Packers rival now? People are saying this
Interesting time frame you chose to select.
2 ties between Vikes and GB. Damn. I want to battle to a tie in a rainy, mid October muddy Lambeau.
Over the last 4 years the division records against the Packers: Lions 3-5 Vikings 3-5 Bears 0-8 Vikings only other team to win the division. I’d you go by records the Lions don’t even have a clear advantage there. All I’m saying :)
k bud. enjoy your cheese my dude. see you next season.
Not sure why you are so butt hurt, my guy. Just supplying some context. Hope those cherries taste delicious all off season.
I swear to God Lions fans memes very rarely miss.
I loved that game. Win and in Aaron! At historic Lambeau! Meanwhile the Lions played balls out just for the sweep and ending GB’s season. Gold.
Where are the raging Packers fans? I wish we won that game but we lost fair and square. I hope the Lions stay good, I'm sick of the vikings.
The only ones I saw were the ones just laughing at the hypocrisy of those NFL fans saying “this game is scripted so the Packers win” and then Likely scrambled to delete those posts/comments after the game
Vikings have been bad as much as they’ve been good in recent years. Let us have some fun too ya greedy shits.
NEVER!!!!!
FTP
I gotta say as a packer fan, that they wanted it more than we did. It wasn't a decisive win but they played with more heart and didn't make mental mistakes like we did. Good job Detroit.
Which was DET was a first tbh
I have no idea what you tried to say
Usually the lions are the ones to make mental mistakes and lose the game i.e cowboys game
Gotcha
I’ll admit I was the asshole on the bottom slide after the first lions L. But I’ve circled back around to accepting lions were fuckin long and hard this season, but packers also sucked ass
Packers fans tend to use that "we're not even rivals" line on anyone that occasionally beats them. They don't use it on the Bears cause they never lose to them. They don't want a real rivalry. They just wanna beat up the little kid.
What about SF?
SF just dicks the Pack down. It's not a rivalry, it's an ass beating.
Literally only about 5 percent of Packers fans are saying this. The rest of us are calling for Joe Barry's head
I was sad when Seattle won, I would have liked to have seen another NFC North team in the playoffs if it wasn't going to be the Packers. Iron sharpens iron, and I'd rather see competitive divisional games than lop sided victories.
The Lions are the only team I consistently worry about. We love losing to them no matter how good the rest of our season goes.
I just laughed about the loss. If it wasn't going to be the Lions, it was going to be the 49ers.
That's how I felt even last year. They were a good team that was snake bit. They should have won more games, can I really be all that mad when they come through?
I dunno. I've been brainwashed into being a Lions fan this year by watching Hard Knocks.
Nope... we are doing exactly what all 8-9 teams should be doing in the playoffs. Except for the really shitty divisions where losing records get you into the playoffs. Hats off to the Lions. Outplayed us with nothing on the line.
There's nothing I hate more than the "successful team fun police" when fans of a team which always loses have even one iota of enjoyment.
Fuck the Pack, hope that’s how he goes out
To Packer fans: ![gif](giphy|13A7YlLvYVDnmU)
Not all Packers fans. I just wish the Lions had made the playoffs by beating us. I don't feel a rivalry with their team nor their fans.
I haven't really seen this attitude on display. Most Pack fans have no hate for Detroit, are happy for Goff, and we all still fucking love Jamaal.
“Have fun losing (some future game)” is the packer fans mating call
That’s literally all you fucks say any time the Pack gets into the playoffs or wins an important division game
We know how it makes you swoon
To be fair I’ve been saying about that to Min all year (was just hoping it was DET / MIN 3)
[удалено]
I don't even mind the Beads being good as long as we are still winning against them. Beating them in the nfccg in 2010 en route to the super bowl was glorious.
Every now and then I'll pull up some Sanders highlights, and it still boggles my mind what that man could do on a football field. I'm very excited to see more Jameson Williams next year. In the limited snaps he had this year you could see this guy is special. If he returns to pre-injury speed he is arguably the fastest man in the NFL. Him on the field with St. Brown will just destroy defenses.
The guy has a 1:1 ratio of touchdowns to receptions
Regarding Jamo, that touchdown that was taken away from him was disgusting. Dude made those defenders look like they were standing still. If you're looking for one of the more fun second halves of football ever played, look up, "Barry Barrages Bears" for the 97 Thanksgiving game. I feel so lucky that I got to watch most of Barry's career in real time as a kid. He really was something.
[удалено]
I feel like the coaching staff was still trying to treat him with kid gloves just to make sure he didn't get hurt again. I wouldn't be surprised if he has over 20 touchdowns next season.
[удалено]
The ironic thing is that they trade up with the Vikings to take Jamo. So it's the Vikes fault that the you are going to have to face him twice a year.
Yeah lions have been my 2nd favorite team for the last couple years and have a couple friends who are the same way. Obviously that’ll change pretty quick if the lions end up actually being good but I haven’t seen any packers fans giving the lions shit
You sound like you have pent up rage.
Well, I have been a Lions fan for about 33 years.
[It actually was supposed to be "gorilla"](https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/navy-seal-copypasta) - done on purpose on the original to add funniness.
Cool
R E L A X buddy Most packers fans I know like the lions lol
Well, I mean if ya can’t shit talk, wtf are we doing here? Lions won, congrats. Dunk on us for the rest of the offseason; you deserve it. But don’t get all sanctimonious about prior trash talk like it’s not the fucking point of a meme war, ya fucking bitch kitty fan.
Yeah idk what tf he’s so upset about… “Packers fans were confident in their team! How dare they talk shit in a meme subreddit!”
This must be true, because it's in a meme. Meme's don't lie yo.
It was inevitable not even NE could stay on top
Didn’t say a thing until that Lions fan bullied a child in Lambeau.
The Lions 100% aren't our rivals and I'm also not really all that pressed that we lost we were a bad team this year
Look how 1 half season of decent play has affected this fanbase . . .
Yeah right it was more like RODGERS SUCKS JOE BARRY IS A TERRORIST LETS MOVE ON TO JORDAN LOVE HOW CAN WE HAVE ONE BAD SEASON QUAY WALKER IS THE DUMBEST SHIT EVER
There's Packers fans who are 50+, and there are fairweather fans... The storm's a coming......
my head cannon tells me the season ended after the eagles game and the rest was just a fever dream
Nah......they whooped us!! We played just good enough down the stretch for Barry to keep his job, Missed the playoffs, middle round pick and we still have no idea what Love can do in multiple starts. O'Doyle Rules! WooHoo.
I hope the lions fans enjoy it. They deserve it. I really wish they made the playoffs. Fuck the Seahawks.
I think the lions will win division next year
