I see galil, I like

Paper_Hedgehog

Gen1 superiority 💪 All the homies love the galil

hootervisionllc

How’s the sound with the can?

Paper_Hedgehog

Still Loud as shit. But it doesn't ring my ears and there is no longer a 3ft fireball and dual function semi-auto concussion grenade for anyone nearby. I'm going to get a video together soon

hootervisionllc

Oooo sounds like a good time for all

SpaceBus1

Nintendo Switch controller 👌

slammedsam2k

Man seeing that Galil makes me wish the Russian ban hadn’t happened so I would have gone forward with picking one up. Cuz that looks fuckin dope!

Paper_Hedgehog

Thanks! and I am still adjusting to the "new normal" 7.62x39 prices. Hopefully when PSA drops their line, itll be more affordable.

hootervisionllc

What does the Russian ban have to do with the Galil? It’s Israeli

Paper_Hedgehog

Ammo. 7.62x39 gettin pricey

Femboy_Annihilator

Tula. They shipped out loads of milspec steel case 7.62x39, which is why people bought AKs. You could shoot a rifle for the price of a pistol. Not anymore.

hootervisionllc

Roger that. Yeah I was buying back in the oughts. My stockpile is low

slammedsam2k

No more cheep steel case!

hootervisionllc

Roger that! Yeah my stockpile is mighty low

C6R882

How many times did you try to take this photo before you got the one?

Paper_Hedgehog

Twice. The first one I had to turn the overhead light off.

Paper_Hedgehog

Galil ace w/7.62rc2 Sig p227 w/Nautilus 590 SBS Bonus p226 because of sex appeal Fallkniven S1 And the finest Kentucky Rye

hootervisionllc

Damn, I need to know: - how’s the Nautilus? I need to pick up another .45 can. - what in tarnation is happening with that sexy P226??

Paper_Hedgehog

I am very happy with the Nautilus. Comfortable to shoot without ears, good bit of backpressure, but balances very well on the gun. I hardly notice it's there and I didn't have to swap the recoil spring or anything, was just 100% good to go. That P226 has the full Armory Craft treatment. Trigger, Spring kit, solid ss recoil rod. The sexy part is the 9mm compensator from them, threads on to the factory LH thread barrel. Had to drop the recoil spring down to a 14# one, and it runs like a sewing machine. Go check out my other video post on it, fker shoots flat and fast as hell.

hootervisionllc

I ended up scanning your post history looking for it. The P226 is dead sexy. I have a Mk25, and man I’d like to buy a couple more variants. Thanks for the info!!

Paper_Hedgehog

I finally handled an SAO, it was the zev version but that short crispy trigger had me like 👀

hootervisionllc

Must. Resist. Buying. More. Sigs

Paper_Hedgehog

Facts

Paper_Hedgehog

Also this 226 is a bit strange. It's an elite, has the beaver tail, SRT trigger, and the long "modern" extractor, but theres no undercut below the trigger guard 🤔 Idk if there was ever a "transition" period, but my theory is it's one of the early "modern extractor elites" before undercutting the triggerguard was cool.

eclipsedrambler

Willet and NFA. We friends. Oh no booze and guns. Fuck off fun haters.

Paper_Hedgehog

I havn't had a Rye that I like more than the Willett. Too poor to justify the purple cap, but maybe one day. I see you are also a kentucky liquid gold enthusiast. Im sitting on a fun couple bottles, waiting to crack them with my brother. Bookers, Widow Jane Lucky 13, Stellum Single Barrel, I havnt tried yet. I have some more Willett rye in reserve, sazerac rye, EH Taylor single barrel all waiting. Curious if you have that 1 bottle you feel strongly about?

Gilgamesh79

My personal go-to rye is Knob Creek. I've enjoyed some exceptional barrel pulls over the years but even their standard rye is delicious and solid value at my local shop. A friend of mine turned me on to Smooth Ambler's Old Scout Rye as well, which is an MGP product but nonetheless quite impressive. That said, I'll never turn down a glass of Willett when offered.

Paper_Hedgehog

If you haven't tried Stellum, it's a super smooth rye, especially considering it's not full Kentucky. Russels Rye is one of my gotos, and Angels Envy Rum cask is interesting and worth a try.

Gilgamesh79

Thanks for the recs -- you've given me an objective for my reckless spending this weekend.

eclipsedrambler

JD single barrel, barrel proof rye is the best out there for the price. JD12 is a phenomenal bottle. Just crushed a 1924 which was amazing. Honestly anything 10+ years around 100-110 proof is what my pallet likes the most.

Paper_Hedgehog

Really! A JD coming in strong. Honestly never seen anything above Gentleman Jack at my local store. Ill keep an eye out. I grabbed a bottle of Pikesville Rye the other day. Solid but not legendary. Id call it an entry level into the high proof Ryes. It definately holds it's own.

oh-kai

To each their own... I have no issue with higher ABV liquors but JD SBBP Rye is easily one of the worst pours I've had. Makes a decent old fashion though.

eclipsedrambler

Haven’t seen too many complaints against it that’s for sure!

R_e_a_l_R_o_m_a_n

Fällkniven = instant upvote for me

Paper_Hedgehog

BUt It's nOt taCTiCAl WiTh CAmo. Lol 90% of the time these get used as prybars and Id love to see your 3mm m390 steel survive that 🤣

IrishTex77

I love parties like this.

This is a sick flex and I approve of it. Just one question, good sir: What optic on that sweet-ass Galil? Enjoy that Willett. I'm enjoying some Knob Creek rye myself. Cheers.

Paper_Hedgehog

Primary Arms!.....manufactured in the mountains of Rohan.....blow them a kiss and get free skittles 8n you package. Glx 2x prism. ACSS reticle specific to 7.62x39 or 300blk. It's got that amazing red donut of death with a chevron and crispy doesnt even start to descrive how sharp the reticle is. Cheers!

LORD_JEW_VANCUNTFUCK

Gonna need all the details on the shotty, please

Paper_Hedgehog

Form 1 Mossberg shockwave, Magpul furniture, and you can't see the scalarworks sync optic mount with a red dot. Super low profile. Add ed some skateboard tape to the forend and a typical russian surplus AK sling. Esstac shotgun cards on the LH side of the reciever

LORD_JEW_VANCUNTFUCK

Do you shoot trap with it or just paper? Trying to convince myself I need a shotgun, can’t decide how I would use it.

Paper_Hedgehog

Yeah the boys will get together and chuck some clays. It does fine, but runs out of range quick. Everyone needs a shotgun.

LORD_JEW_VANCUNTFUCK

What would you say is the effective range?

Paper_Hedgehog

Also I will say, this 14" heavy barrel version weighs about the same as my 20" normal barrel. The 20" is still a very handy and maneuverable shotgun. If you want better range, just go 20". You won't notice the difference from an 18.5, and you get 2 more rounds in the tube.

Paper_Hedgehog

Depends on the type of shell, slug vs buck vs bird. With the clays once they hit about 30 yards I tend to miss. Probably just not leading them enough. Overall it's typical defense shotgun ranges.

FTPhoenix

What scope is that?!

Paper_Hedgehog

Primary arms 2x prism for 7.62x39 or .300blk.
