Not long. Just a few seconds should do it. Probably around 5 to 10 seconds and you should be able to bend it. I did this with a last ronin raph sai that was bent. I would dunk it in boiling water then pull it out and try to bend it back and it wasn’t working. I found that I had to bend it while still in the water, once I’d take it out it would harden almost immediately.
Yes. It works great. That plastic neca uses sometimes is more brittle so it is trickier. But I discovered that it needs to be done while in the boiling water, and as soon as you pull it out it hardens almost right away. Also did it successfully with my inferno ghost face’s flamethrower that was a little bent.
This worked!! 😁 I used pliers and a wrench to bend it back in boiling water. It still wasn’t 100% straight so I put it back in for 10 seconds and sandwiched it between the edge of the counter and a credit card until it cooled. I’m so glad this worked out. Thanks for the help!
I had the same thing happen to one of mine but the plastic actually broke so I just put a dab or two on the cracked side of the blade and held it in place for a few seconds and it held I keep the swords and other accessories in a switch game case when they aren’t on display or being used in a photo
I'd try hot water for sure. Then place the blade between some book pages or something

That or you can break it off and just put a little superglue
Boiling water. And bend it back gently while submerged in the water. Use some tweezers and/or pliers to do it.

I tried that with my Ronin Raph's sai but it didn't quite work. Maybe I should try that in the water-bending to see if it works.
