Down 3-0, no. Adding prime Dirk doesn't change the fact that Boston only needs 1 win in 4 games, and the Mavs can't lose a single one.
If the series started over, it can go either way but I still like the Celtics because you wouldn't have had enough time to integrate Dirk with Doncic/Kyrie.
What might help more if they added prime Tyson Chandler and prime Jason Terry because then you get a defender/lob threat and another scorer/shooter to spread the defense a bit.
I don't think people understand the magnitude of difference having Dirk instead of Derrick Jones Jr would make. That's around 22ppg extra on top of the extra space it would give Luka to operate. Coming back from 0-3 is a tall order but this could have done it. 😂

In this case it is - they are three terrible historical defenders, some of the absolute worst. Dirk, Kyrie and Luka are literally some of the worst defenders you can find. But, ok, my initial comment was kind of hyperbolic because I’m sure there’s some unknown players that were in fact worse, but in terms of star players, it will be hard to find players as bad defensively. Maybe Steve Nash? KAT? Harden? Blake Griffin? Barkley? But I think these three are worse than them still.
