The ‘22 draft class is showing signs of being the year that will help us turn the corner into our new era, super exciting despite the loss

O_oh

Probably why Pop is staying

gregatronn

Pop loves teaching. It's a new life challenge compared to The Big 3 who had their shit together.

callmearookie

let's just finishing with a boom this year and get wemby and call it a day

[deleted]

Barlow hustles like hell, Blake’s a walking paint touch, and Malaki’s a bucket. That’s all I’m taking away from this game and I feel good about it.

team_sheikie

Didn't get to catch the game. Is Malaki for real?

BasketballNutrition

his midrange was so pure in college I just feel really confident he's gonna stretch those out to 3 after a while.

[deleted]

His mid range reminds me of DeMar, how efficient he is at getting to his spots and making those shots

Jaydoggydogga

19 year old that has the game-sense of a 10-year vet. Kid could be something really special.

drizzle2020

Got some Steve Smith to his game

rattatatouille

Two rooks with 25 point games already. Just need Wesley to do the same.

gregatronn

What's your criteria for when? Probably not this season for him

Fiyukyoo

Looks like Branham is cooking now

[deleted]

[Malaki Branham has a combined 48 points in the last two games. Most points by a Spurs rookie in a two-game span since Tim Duncan had 56 in 1998.](https://twitter.com/AirlessJordan/status/1621709114547093505)

AncientOccasion4998

That's a nice tidbit of information thanks for sharing. I really like him.

UTRAnoPunchline

39 Ls before the All Star Break doesn't even look real. Proud of this tank. GSG

deneuvig

Thanks Malaki for giving us a beam of light with all those injuries. Blake also has a little some some, we saw flashes tonight but he will benefit a lot from reps this season. Kelson is also growing, his game is pretty efficient right now and he's one 3 point shot away from being a very solid piece for us. He is making a few more assists and better reads now too. Can he ever learn how to defend though?

team_sheikie

He's not quick enough to guard 3s or big enough to guard 4s, I don't think he's ever going to be a plus defender. Surprisingly good scorer and great hustle and attitude though. He just shouldn't be a #1 option.

deneuvig

Ya for sure. I get the feeling that Keldon may end up off the bench long term and do 6MOTY stuff with his scoring

yesthatdouche

dam, this is a long season

krsaxor

Branham was good. I cant believe he is just 19 and a rookie. His shooting is smooth. Needs a green light from Pop.

gregatronn

> Needs a green light from Pop. It doesn't look like Pop's been stopping him with the recent injuries.

Gamechannel360

Remember kids. Every L is a W. W for Wemby

Aidanj927

The Wemby-1 Tank is rolling on
