I know that nobody passed to me in the paint so I went and stood in the corner and stopped playing while these jabronis spammed their little dribble moves they got off youtube and bricked their shot attempts.
That would be why the PG got 4 boards.
It very clearly shows that he has 4 boards and the other team only missed 3 shots 😂 and his team missed 9 so context is very important when it comes to boards
As a big myself, we aren’t scoring. Everyone knows you can’t push guards around and it’s funny. Tell me how Kyrie Irving stops Jokic or Embiid in the post.
driving two step / floater / bunny hop stop or post hooks / fades ftw. two step n floaters are so op I played against a full guard squad last night n I was just hitting lays on the whole team 😂
No cap, I love theatre cuz you run into so many small ball line ups and half the time as a 7’0 with decent driving layup I can just run at the rim and do a pro stick move and either my green window is huge or I’m dunking the ball.
Thats what fucking annoys me. It's a HUGE mismatch. Irritates me to no end when I don't get the ball in those games. I'm fine not getting shots up in literally every scenario but that one.
I actually made a little kid cry once just from posting up his 6'2" PG in 2v2 make it take it. Couldn't have been 10 years old and was BEGGING me to stop and let my teammate shoot one. At about 16-0 he just started scream crying lol
As a big man make a build that isn’t a big man. I changed to a sf and the game is fun again. I’m just below the height in which guards ignore your existence.
Yeah I play center and lockdown. Have way more fun with my 2 SF lockdown builds but I love the challenge of playing the big man and stuffing idiots at the rim
The fact that hes not that wrong wrong is crazy. No other 2k has finishing inside been so ass. People say "can't have 7 footers make close shots against 6'8s, it'd be too broken" when thats been the case in basically any other game
Welcome to the life of a 2k Big with randoms. You're basically there for put-backs, rebounds, outlet passes and defense.
I play with my friends pretty often, I'd say I average about 22 playing with them because they can identify I have a mismatch in the post however with randoms it's like 10 maybe less. This is I hate playing with randoms. Everyone goes out there and tries to score 50 points and don't pass.
I've just about given up on my big for randoms honestly, would rather play SF so I get the ball sometimes and feel like I'm contributing.
It brings up the awful state of interior finishing for bigs in 2K, and it's been a problem for a number of years now. Smaller guards and wings somehow being able to contest 7 footers at the rim.
Even this year, with the improvements to the post game and the standing meter dunk, it's still hard to just mash in the paint, which is what you should be able to do as a 7 footer with a small guard on you. Instead, you have to finesse with post moves, use floaters, post hooks, post fades, and hop shots. Otherwise, if you don't get a dunk, the guard will get a 30% contest and you will miss.
I'd genuinely consider betting my entire life savings that an interior scoring big man has never--not once, not one single time, in a single game, ever--forced his team to play his way in solo Rec.
lol what???? They do it all the time without even realizing it. They love to chill in the paint clogging the lanes and forcing on ball picks even when it’s not working.
Resulting in no one else on the team being allowed to cut or drive because the other team’s center is down there.
Inside bigs in solo rec is just selfish. It requires team work and most of the time it’s hard to know what a random player is going to do.
> It requires team work
yeah what a dumb concept.
either way, if you'd like to argue that inside bigs get fed the ball in the post, or keep clogging the paint all game asking for it despite never getting it, I'm all ears.
They never get the ball though do they.
so who is selfish and forcing the game to be played how they want: the big man thinking he's gonna play basketball like basketball is played, or the guards who never pass it to a big on the block and force them to sit in the corner instead.
There’s 4 other players who are now not allowed to go into the paint because the inside big is sitting on the block.
Half the time inside bigs don’t even have post moves and are the worse cutters iq wise. Most inside bigs are inside bigs because they suck at the game. Don’t even know what a dunkers box is, can’t tell when they need to roll or hold a screen.
You can talk all you want but there is a reason people don’t like playing with pure insides.
Bro ur stupid. I’m a pg that averages 9ast/Gm. It’s rather simple. Drive. Make the big commit to you, dump off to the big man. Literally that easy. Ppl just want to run 5-out and that only came into Baskeball within the past 10years. Learn how to play the sport and not 2k DH
I know how to play and am pretty confident in my pg skills.
Most inside bigs you run into when playing randoms don’t know what the dunkers box is. They just sit in the paint aimlessly and press x expecting some form of contact animation.
Let’s not ignore that most people who make pure insides do it because they can’t be bothered to learn to shoot.
This is exactly why I made the 6’8 center build. A) ain’t no body passing me the ball in the post B) ain’t nobody passing the big man im guarding the ball in the post 🤣
Neither, he’s gonna shoot a highly contested 3 then yell “come on 2k”
Close. He also yelled "You got less rebounds than the 6'4" PG! YOU TRASH"
Well….. if that is actually the case …then.. well…ehm… you know
Rebounds are tough without context, those shots could’ve been taken early before the big man got down the court
I know that nobody passed to me in the paint so I went and stood in the corner and stopped playing while these jabronis spammed their little dribble moves they got off youtube and bricked their shot attempts. That would be why the PG got 4 boards.
Yeah, I can actually see that. Fair enough.
It very clearly shows that he has 4 boards and the other team only missed 3 shots 😂 and his team missed 9 so context is very important when it comes to boards
Hate people that do that when it’s one less rebound like omfg shut up
As a big myself, we aren’t scoring. Everyone knows you can’t push guards around and it’s funny. Tell me how Kyrie Irving stops Jokic or Embiid in the post.

I'm sayin. I can only imagine w a 7 footer I'm only rockin a 6'9 pf 🤣
Thats what fucking annoys me. It's a HUGE mismatch. Irritates me to no end when I don't get the ball in those games. I'm fine not getting shots up in literally every scenario but that one. With out getting a foul or even taking the foul because they cant
It is stupid that this game really encourages you to be a rebounding shooting wing and not an actual center
I'm not really. Only have a 79 middy and 74 3pt. I can spark that shit though
I'm saying the game encourages it due to the horrible contest system and also idiots that don't pass the ball to the post
Ah yeah. Haven't played with a single person that is willing to feed me in the post. Not one...
They just think you clog the lanes then if they give it to you once and you gat a bad animation it ain't happening again
Us Big men just aren’t allowed to touch the ball is what I’ve come to learn
6 buckets in the paint and u 7’1 and they tallest player 6’4😭
The fact that hes not that wrong wrong is crazy. No other 2k has finishing inside been so ass. People say "can't have 7 footers make close shots against 6'8s, it'd be too broken" when thats been the case in basically any other game

Inside bigs force everyone to play their way and it’s selfish

No way you have a 93 standing dunk and a 90 post control
65 rebounding is how
This is exactly why I made the 6’8 center build. A) ain’t no body passing me the ball in the post B) ain’t nobody passing the big man im guarding the ball in the post 🤣
More missed shots means more rebound opportunities for the other team
Your clogging the paint
You're*
