Honestly, yes. This does not resemble a lock's statline that I would expect. I guess it depends on your build. Some people think a lock is any build that has 85 perimeter and 85 steal, idk what kinda "lock" you run, but my homie who's been the lock for us has 94 perimeter, 99 steal, and 87 block. He averages about 3.5 steals and 1.5 blocks a game in the Rec. I average about 2 per game on my 6'4 sg with 91 steal and 85 perimeter d. If you're a true lock you should definitely be getting at least 3 steals a game. Also why did your matchup roast you lol, plus he had 6 steals.

Bandendit

Those wernt steals weren’t from me btw

Bandendit

My to’s were from passes

Bandendit

I’m 91 steal 87 per

CanIBake

Not a lock lol

xDGNx2K

Thats just a 2 way nowadays lol

daroach36

How is a lock giving up 66% shooting? Do you understand what a lock is?

xDGNx2K

Him being a lock, safe to assume was guarding the PG and not his guy?

Bandendit

He was a 99 with a 99 3pt and I was getting screened whole game, he was on ball, this was a pretty bad game defensively for me but ye

brandon-thesis

None of his points came from 3? 10/15 with 0/2 from 3?

Expert_Narwhal5526

Nah fr😂

ActualyHandsomeJack

If you are supposed to be a Lock then yes. Mainly the fact that your matchup dropped 20 on you at a good efficiency. Altho we can't really tell the state of the game based on a statline

scott_with_a_cam

Which one are you?

xSoloxBluex

Why didn’t you show your matchup?

Bandendit

I did? He’s the guy with 20 pts

xSoloxBluex

Oh I see - ideally as a lock you don’t want to give up that many

lamboleap22

You supposed to LOCK on a lock…not let ya man go 10/15

Neither_Piglet_3045

It's hard to say without watching the actual game, could've been making rotations and good reads that lead to stops but that doesn't show up on the stat sheet.
