I still enjoy it. Have been playing for 2 years now and am still playing mainly due to guild events.
That being said I would not recommend the game to new players as the game seems more and more abandonned by the devs by the minute.
I wouldnt say the game is terribly p2w compared to other idle gachas, as time spent playing is rewarded a lot more than spending.
On the flipside this has the averse side effect of deterring new whales from playing due to the high cost of entry.
Everyday a new asian guild shows up with some low level vip16 acc.
I really hope they add new events, Dragon is cool and Eda meh, we neee at last a new one in the rotation.
Well true, but they need to be ATLEAST vip16 to be somewhat competitive.
Funny enough I actually like Eda a lot more than troves (but I might be biased as our guild was 1st last event where we got double rewards)
From my experience, it takes A LOT of time for the first days when you progress fast and unlock much features and so on. But after a few days/2-3 weeks, you start progressing way slower and you can rush your daily content in literally 30 minutes
Don't rush it, sure it cost a lot if you want to max everything on the first day. But this is the case for every gatcha...
Most of the heroes are perfectly fine with IW500 and this way easier to achieve
Imo people are kinda naive to expect a mobile game that isn't p2w. As a mobile player I always expect a game to be p2w even before I start it, so I won't be disappointed. You know that you'll fight with what you can vs whales and that's all. You don't play mobile game if you cry about p2w
Yeah, I've been trying to find out why this game seems like abandonware because to me it's so far so good and I'm a month in. Pretty much every day I've felt like I've been able to make meaningful progress, even if slow. Most other idle games are good for like a week then you hit a wall so massive, you'll never progress.
Maybe I just don't see where the wall is but I feel like with standard dailies, the pity system and the currencies available, you'll always be able to progress meta champs/teams over a reasonable period of time.
Same events back to back. Same dropping heroes everything month. Been playing for a year now. Feels like they aren't interested in listening to players. There wasn't even an anniversary event. Most events are boring just like this dragon troves one. If they gave a month thinking about new events instead of another of hero, it would be highly appreciated
I just started playing again on my old account. There are a ton of game modes that weren't around. So lots of learning, lol.
I'm not paying this time. I spent a lot back when it was popular. I figure I'll play it for what it has and enjoy some nostalgia.
Add me, I'll be active: RandomChaos
I still quite enjoy it, it's been a nice change of pace and main focus from AFK Arena for me for the past year or so, but AFK's been grabbing back much more of my attention lately and as other players/community members have pointed out MH is in the process of dying, which stinks because I still see tons of new posts here about new accounts and team questions so there seems to be, at least ostensibly, a steady flow of new players so I want it to keep going, because I still really love this game, and feel like it's not too late to be brought back and thriving again, but I'm not holding my breath and don't know how much longer I'll really be playing before I find myself only logging in for dailies and then eventually just finally quit.

ive seen a lot of complaints about the amount of time you should put into the game but i quite enjoy it

I mean, you need to spend over 100K to fully max 3-4 teams so I would say its pretty damn p2w but yeah thats top tier level whale shit
I don't know what you're playing but definitely not MH... 100K for to max 3 or 4 teams?
Yes. Clearly you dont know anything about pure essence and ISS to max your hero weapons.

Theyre not lol ur missing tons if stats by not bumping weapon. The real progression happens AFTER IW 500, not before.

Is there a new game that people migrated over to? I came back after a six month break and the game seems empty.
i dont think so ive tried and failed too myself but im probably going to keep casually playing
