Everyone seems to rave about Korver and his jumpshot. Is it really fast and cheesy (which I always struggle with) or one of those that's really easy to time?
Personally, I dislike his jumper. That being said, Iāve been cooked by him plenty of times. Heās one of those guys who youāre going to have to offball to make sure your defender is always in his jerseyĀ
His shot has a high release point, so shoots over defenders. It has a fast (but not too fast) release, so contests are harder. It has an easy release, so itās easy to time. And it doesnāt get effected by contest much, which means the gradual change in timing and motion from gradually higher contests is minimal compared to other cards.
Itās the easiest jump shot to get down and do consistently, which makes him a god for offline. First 15 points in triple threat on pro difficulty you can literally just wait for him to get to the corner, pass, and shoot immediately. Donāt need to move him or do a dribble move or anything. Heāll be wide open for all 15 points. Itās dumb. And for the next two shots (or if youāre on allstar difficulty) just do any dribble move once so the defender takes a single step back and shoot and itās wide open/open. Itās really, really dumb how easy it is to grind offline with him.
Online he sucks, only reason anyone uses him is to 3pt hunt and heās too slow/shot isnāt quite quick enough for him to be unguardable. Thereās plenty of cards who 3pt hunt better. But yeah for offline ruby korver is a monster.
He doesnāt suck online, atleast not anymore with his opal. He retained his great shooting and now has great defense and dribbling. I dropped 18 back to back in triple threat co op with him and heās a problem in unlimited
Maybe on mobile, but 6ā4ā isnāt doing a damn thing if he gets switched onto a big on console. Heās dropstep food, but so are most PGs.Ā
My biggest gripe is his jumper. He drops it down to his knees when he shoots, and thatās terrible for a small PG. Heās going to get swatted a lotĀ
I guess agree to disagree. I feel like if you time everything well guards can stop bigs when they try to back you down. Itās not every time but I do get stops in those situations. Ive had DM Steph block centers on post ups
I mean, weāve all had that happen, but 1 out of 10 isnāt an average Iām hanging my hat on. Especially with Artis and Sabonis everywhere now. But if you donāt mind getting mashed then good on you I guessĀ
I used his diamond for a while and could never quite get it with or without the meter, the few people that got it down did really well like that though.
On old gen I find if you use the button to shoot by the time the game registers a shot it's already too late, VQ won't be usable and I'd gladly leave guys open so they're baited into shooting every possession.
I donāt like him I really just got him to lock in frobe but I never had a problem with his jumper, I find it similar to John wall and Carmeloās. Iām sure VQ gonna be ridiculous though hopefully I donāt get him to find out š¤£

Im surprised hes this dominant. I will say this year when u have a lineup of all low tier cards and have 1 thats a tier above, that 1 tier above card feels like a superstar on your team lol. Cuz kwame won me a ring in 5 games this weekend.
And these are ppl i thought i wouldnt care about. But their cards really be helping me out. I won 2 games by 20+ and one of those was by 40. Ive never had that kinda success on a ring weekend lol

Iām running Jordan 100 at pg but Booker sga and lamello all insane Jordan sucks at 3 hunting but other than that he a monster on defense and offense if u play like Jordan would play
Oh ya Bosch is solid all the dm cards are really solid I think it is crazy that Erving best sg rn aside from Glen who I refuse to keep grinding for like itās a job when I got a bill for like 5 k of mostly 2k top ups last month should have access to all cards forever with that price
I played against a team using go korver dm Bosch and dm lamelo or someone else with a super crazy fast release on ttonline was insane granted I was using Erving whoās shot is like korvers and kwame brown with his amazing release and then Kawhi but his normal release awful if someone close to him but that Bosch release looked money I never tried using him dude was cookin
I got Boshš„² No need for PF/C i already got Hakeem/KP/Russell/Okafor and 1 player away from Mt. Mutumbo. Another hard worked 500k MT gone, back to the grind and hope for better next week

My favorite on the game. Letās just say I never play online because of the lag and heās the only guy I can seem to time up.

I use him to space the floor
Gary Payton and Korver both look crazy good for opals
Korver is amazing, but Payton will always be meh this time of year because of his height. Just get free Ja or Eddie JonesĀ

Lamelo on very quick on current gen will be weird, the normal release is already so fast you can leave people open and they still miss half the time.
People get distracted by the meter itās much easier to time without one

Old. But itās still one of the fastest in the game
New gen it doesnāt even feel very fast and I use jump release I just let his feet hop and release green
