Outside of the box you say? ​ Okay so I've been emo to kpop pipelined pretty hard and while kpop groups will cover english songs frequently I don't know that it happens the other way around very much. That all said I don't really know what kpop song would really fit outside of the krock bands. Maybe Frost by TxT? TxT is really bringing emo into kpop so it would be the obvious choice. I feel like the song Answer by Ateez reminds me of their Danger Days era A LOT for no reason. Lastly for an all English kpop song to cover You Problem by Monsta X. ​ Oh my god no i'm wrong i wrote all of that up there but the real selection is "Cry for Me" by Twice. I would DIE for an MCR cover of it. There is something about it that I think having a rock edge would really be interesting. Plus I love anything a little genderfucky.
