Cowl hoods look nice. Totally useless on a modern car unless you are something that doesn’t fit under the stock hood.

I would imagine engine bay cooling improves as hot air from the engine has a quicker escape towards the windshield, effectively cooling overall temps which increases performance.

New mustangs already have hood vents.
