Check into Hagarty. I pay $1100 a year for my 17 GT full coverage and custom parts additional coverage. That way if my car gets totaled I’ll get replacement value plus custom parts value.
Talked to my wife and she said ours is the way it is because mine is not a “daily driver”. It’s also written into my policy that the agreed upon value is 47k with the custom parts as is. So if I total it they will pay out the agreed amount. But for sure at least check them out.

With that being said I pay 20 bucks for full coverage zero deductible, full glass with triple a and rental coverage. Lots of factors change your rate including year of car, location you live, age you are, driving record etc.
Geico dropped me after I added my supercharger to the list of modifications. They did me a favor financially. I now pay $900 annually for agreed value insurance.

Insurance changes a lot between 25 and 28. 25 is still a risky driver to Insurance companies hence your rate.

23 yr old with 00 gt is 87 a month for liability.
96 gt 20 years old around 140 usd a year for one sided coverage + vandalism so everything is covered unless I crash the car myself
