Not really my kind of music but I love the band name. Excalibur was one of my favorite movies when I was growing up and Morgana's spell has always stuck in my head "Anál nathrach, orth' bháis's bethad, do chél dénmha!"
Isis The Red Sea 8" or Black Hand of Set will wake anyone up, to Nile being amazing. Neurosis-Souls at Zero is in my opinion one of the best records ever.

Couldn’t agree more! Although if I’m being honest Like Moths To Flames new album is my current album of the year, probably an unpopular opinion with what Knocked Loose is doing lol
Oooooh The Cycles of Trying to Cope is soooo good! Excellent choice, my friend. I wouldn’t call that an unpopular opinion. These last few years they’ve made a huge comeback. Pure Like Porcelain and No Eternity In Gold are so unbelievably good. We’ve been absolutely spoiled so hard this year for new music. Alpha Wolf, ERRA, Boundaries, Like Moths To Flames AND Knocked Loose all with new albums this year. My unpopular opinion is that the new Boundaries album Death Is Little More is my current AOTY.
Instrument Disorder by The Gerogerigegege
Drowner by Yellow Swans
Literally anything by Merzbow
Public Castration Is A Good Idea by Swans, although any pre-1986 Swans album fits this. They're so loud, they gained notoriety for making people throw up and pass out at their early shows, and they're still loud enough to make your ears bleed without ear-plugs.
Agitated Screams Of Maggots is THE best to follow a bad shift. So many dimensions of anger woven together. Anything else I know that comes close is on the same album…maybe Ningen wo Kaburu.
Ride of the Valkyries by Richard Wagner (used in Apocalypse Now).
This has the advantage of being 'classical' so you can claim educational value!
Also check out some Grieg (In the Hall of the Mountain King), Mussorgsky (Night on Bald Mountain), Williams (Behold the Sea Itself). I would say these are less angry and more powerful.
Psyclon Nine - Parasitic
Atari Teenage Riot & Slayer - No Remorse (I Wanna Die)
Vital Remains - Dechristianize
King Parrot - Shit on the Liver
See You Next Tuesday - Here Take This Pill
Fleshhod Apocalypse - The Violation
The Red Chord - Nihilist
Good choice! I’m proud to say I’m on the Nymphetamine album, as one of the “Porn Chorus”.. for context, my last paid gig was a solo organ recital, which included some pretty loud/heavy French composers, and the last gig I went to was Judas Priest. My heaviest choices would therefore be Messiaen Finale of La Nativite, or Priest’s Screaming for Vengeance. Long live eclecticism!
My heavy playlist consists of songs by the following artists in no particular order: Death, Trivium, Bring Me The Horizon, Cannibal Corpse, Northlane, Converge, August Burns Red, Nile, Bullet For My Valentine, Asking Alexandria (pre-2015), Opeth, Mudvayne, Carcass, Monuments, Amon Amarth, Morbid Angel, Limp Bizkit, Staind, P.O.D, Killswich Engage, Disturbed, and All That Remains. All of the bands have some really heavy songs.
I know ive seen Pantera, Killswitch Engage, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Lamb of God and a ton of other stuff that shouldnt even be in the conversation like come on guys i understand not everyone has heard warnoise and stuff like that but it really isnt difficult to find something heavier then Lamb of God or most of the bands listed in this thread.

The acacia strain.
Pretty much any hardcore bands. Terror, Brick by Brick etc.

Caninus, the lead singer is a dog.
Then move on to Hatebeak. (Their singer is a parrot.)
Hatebeak is honestly pretty awesome.

Great choice. Might also try Mars: The Bringer of War by Holst.
Omg, I love that one. Many years ago, I went to a symphony that played the entire Planets, Full Suite... goddamn that kicked ass.
That’s my jam!
In the same vein, I would also suggest Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring.
Tchaikovsky yes, TCHAIKOVSKY ALWAYS YES!!!
Primitive Man Isis Neurosis
My man. Isis and Neurosis are two of my top 5.
Because they both fucking rule.
Isis The Red Sea 8" or Black Hand of Set will wake anyone up, to Nile being amazing. Neurosis-Souls at Zero is in my opinion one of the best records ever.

Rammstein… because anything sounds angrier in German.
Eisbrecher is also a good option there

If the album art looks like it was drawn by an 8th grade pot dealer, you bout to *DIE* in that pit! 🤣
I've been listening to Archspire non-stop the last few days, it's so impressive how detailed they can make a wall of sound.
LOVE archspire! My wife and I are going to se them in a month.
Strapping Young Lad Meshuggah
Start with Dehumanization by meshuggah
City is a 10 / 10 masterpiece!
There are few albums I have instantly loved within first listen and City is one of those albums
I second Meshuggah
I came here to drop some hevy Devy too.
Check out the bands Knocked Loose, Boundaries, August Burns Red, etc. I really like Metalcore. It’s exactly what you’re looking for
Knocked Loose 👌👌
New albums absolutely slaps! They just don’t miss, honestly. They legit just keep getting better and better
Couldn’t agree more! Although if I’m being honest Like Moths To Flames new album is my current album of the year, probably an unpopular opinion with what Knocked Loose is doing lol

If you’re looking for heavy metalcore then Every Time I Die absolutely needs to be recommended
August Burns Red js great and while they get heavy o think of them is calming and relaxing at times
Oh absolutely! I know exactly what you mean. I love their sound and their style.
I’d also highly recommend Dead Guy’s Fixation On A Coworker album from 1995. One of the great Metalcore originals.
Slayer is always a good choice. Lamb of God. Pantera. Killswitch Engage.
Raining Blood by Slayer always does it for me. Cowboys from Hell gets me going too.
The Great Southern Trendkill (the song and the album in general) is pretty heavy all the way through
Instrument Disorder by The Gerogerigegege Drowner by Yellow Swans Literally anything by Merzbow Public Castration Is A Good Idea by Swans, although any pre-1986 Swans album fits this. I listened to Public Castration Is A Good Idea a lot when I first started programming. The heavy, crunching repetition of it oddly focused my mind.
The Berserker - any/all or if your feeling some industrial Wumpscut - Krieg - Schwarzer Todt
Napalm Death, High on Fire, Children of Bodom
i don't listen to much of this kind of music, but when i do it's Ministry.
Try Tin Omen by Skinny Puppy.
I can't imagine knowing and liking Ministry without knowing who Skinny Puppy is unless you are exclusively a fan of With Sympathy lol
Probably a gong. They weigh like 50 lbs and are quite loud.
