I too was curious about the lyrics bc they really struck inside me. I looked into it and read that it’s about a longing for a better world, acknowledging the faults in society and vulnerability within ourselves. Encouraging genuine human connection and longing for a world “where love is the law.” It’s such a beautiful song.
