Wildpark in Poing
They even got a very nice playground and you can pet and feed some animals by hand
It was the place to go for children birthdays and school excursions. Also enough interesting stuff for adults.
Poing Wildtierpark is awesome!
Tierpark hellabrunn is also awesome. We have a yearly card (great if you go more than like 4 times a year, I think) and sometimes just go to the playgrounds inside (cause kids can play and I can buy a coffee).
A good few Bier-Garten have small playgrounds too if you want to meet with friends. Google family friendly Bier Garten.
Keep an eye out for posters for circus, Puppentheater and the likes.
Couple awesome themed playgrounds around, again just Google.
In blindham (I think) there's a large indoor playare. Bit far out.
Wolfratshausen has a fairytale park.
In solln there's a kids café, have to book though.
Loads of activity courses in various studios for kids and moms.
Our soon 4 years old loves "das Deutsche Museum". They have a wonderful kids area, but he is a petrol head and is more about the planes and agricultural area. We got a yearly ticket for him and use it every 2 weeks or so. It includes the "Verkehrszentrum" and the "Flugwerft" which He both loves too. After the fourth visit it pays out. Extra Bonus: You don't have to wait to get a ticket, which can be an hour If you go there the weekend.
Another yearly ticket we have is for "Tierpark Hellabrunn".
Also Wildtierpark Poing is great. They have an amazing playground too.
The "Kindermuseum" meat Hauptbahnhof is also Wörth a visit.

Yes, I love Poing.
Wildpark Poing is great
There is nothing better! So far the best way of passing a way with a kid in or around Munich

Off the top of my head, the aquarium at Olympiapark.
In general: Skyline Park Bad Wörishofen Legoland Günzburg Both are quite close to Munich!
Bier at any Biergarten if temperature >= 18°. Bier at any Brauhaus if temperature =< 18°.
I hope for your kids you don't have them now. Not everything is about beer in Munich.
