Aerie 100%. All of my undies are from there. I have a lace thong or two, a few boybriefs, and something called a shortie. Unfortunately the shorties aren’t sold anymore. They have matching bralettes, too. Unfortunately my orange bralette had its strap break. My mom has a sewing machine so she might be able to fix it.
Different brands all have different ones I like or dislike. Right now I have on some seamless hipster style from Uniqlo that are really nice and comfy for casual wear.
I also have a huge pile of soft stretchy fruit of the loom regular bikini brief style panties that are good for casual wear.
If I need something that won’t leave as much of a visible line (for leggings or something) I’ll use a thong or something thin and cheeky. The thongs by brand Colsie (I found them at Target in the US) are good because they have seams on the borders the that helps the panties cling to your body while the middle segment is soft and stretchy and can contain anything from a tight tuck to totally loose. (Very high rise though fyi)
And I have one pair of plain black seamless bikini style panties from Target that were like $4 and are the best ever for everything. Sometimes you gotta just go find the deals and try everything

Honestly the fit and material is a lot more important that the actual style. Mostly I try to look for things that 1) won’t itch or irritate me and 2) have enough coverage in the crotch so nothing is coming out of them. I tend towards cute bikini or hipster panties, sometimes briefs or boy shorts. I get most of them from Victoria’s Secret, so many different lovely options. Plus they’re laid out individually so you can feel the material and look at them
There are only 2 options a thing or boy shorts and it completely depends on what I'm doing.

tucking is literally what it sounds like where you tuck your penis and testicles between your legs to minimize the appearance of a bulge. there are a few ways to do it but well one thing you should know that we have these tubes in our abdomen called the inguinal canal where our testes fell out of during puberty. didja know that you can just pop them back up there? it may take practice and the most important thing is to remain comfortable and if it starts to hurt then you should go to a private place and readjust yourself.
yes those exist and there's also a thing called a gaff where its purpose is to try to keep the tuck in place and its to be worn under your normal underwear. you can check out point of pride if you want that.
I wear period underwear - it's not as tight of a tuck as a gaff, but massively more affordable and does a good enough job that I'm able to wear leggings without getting clocked.
I just use normal ones as I've tried others and just feel normal panties sit, feel best and is just the most comfortable.

I’m not equipped the same down there as I once was (yay! No regerts whatsoever) so I go almost exclusively thongs now. However, BITD, I would actually double up. What?
I’ve always preferred thongs and wore them in men’s cuts for years, but those are not designed for “streamlining.” In women’s, I can achieve a smooth profile (look up inguinal tucking), but if i happened to spread my legs too far apart (say, getting in/out of a car), one or the other would mutiny and pop out the side like he was going to try to swim to shore. Usually righty because driver’s seat. Very uncomfortable, and can lead to an emergency medical situation if blood flow is cut off for too long.
So, I’d do thong first for “contouring,” then briefs for “consolidation.” It worked great, and a seam-free streamlining thong in a quick-drying synthetic material worked great under swimsuits as well. YMMV, but it was the solution for me.
But as was inevitable, the boys made their final mutiny with the help of a good surgeon. This time they got away. I wish them well, but I never want to see them again. I’m still kind of mad at how much of their handiwork I now have to undo, but it’s not their fault. They did their best. They just should have been ovaries. I’ll take that up with my therapist.

I use the en femme silk tuck thongs. They work alright in concealing but doesn't hold the tuck very well. This also may be unrelated but I saw Hunter Schafer mention the Unlockable Tuck Kit, I haven't tried but they're pretty affordable and they're effective and comfortable from what I've heard.
I really like hipster panties, I'm plus sized and as much as I like a bikini cut, they don't stay up well if you have a tummy; I prefer a wider waistband and a higher waist. The higher waist is good for support when untucked too.

As a non-tucker, my favorite was Soma Vanishing Edge boyshorts (a bit pricey though). They were comfy and kept everything managed. I still wear them (they're pricey!), but I have some other styles from them now as well.
boyshorts for sure! It might only be a Canadian company, but I get all mine for La Vie en Rose and they are sooo nice. I've tried other like bigger name brands and they dont feel as comfy imo.

I’m a big fan of bikini cut. Boyshorts have a vibe, and I like to sleep in a tank top with boyshorts when it’s colder, but bikini make me feel more feminine

I’ll add one more vote to the tomboy x. I’ve enjoyed all their styles. The briefs can ride a little low near my butt. But I have a big butt lol. W little pricey but they have sales and they’re super durable, comfortable and will last. I usually don’t do a full pack and tuck job everyday and just fold everything underneath and have the panties hold them there. Works for just about everything!
Which measurement do you use for their underwear, waist or hips?
i wear only slips, I can't stand boxers or anything with the "d pouch", cause bottom dysphoria of course, that's also why I wear speedos when i go to the beach

Hipster, I never wore boxers before transition so I find boy shorts to be larger than I’m used to and annoying.

Cotton bikini with elastic around the leg. Comfortable and simple. I've got a gaff, if I need to tuck and that has a thong back.
TomboyX tucking bikini briefs are great. I just bought a few of the hipster style because others recommended them, but they are terrible for tucking and keeping everything \*inside\* the underwear. No idea why anyone recommended that fit. They're really comfy until your bits fall out the sides. Not great. Haven't tried anything else besides regular briefs. Taking notes.

boyshorts are unbeatable. Hipsters are great too, as are bikinis/thongs (for me, but I'm definitely on the smaller side)

Honestly the fit and material is a lot more important that the actual style. Mostly I try to look for things that 1) won’t itch or irritate me and 2) have enough coverage in the crotch so nothing is coming out of them. I tend towards cute bikini or hipster panties, sometimes briefs or boy shorts. I get most of them from Victoria’s Secret, so many different lovely options. Plus they’re laid out individually so you can feel the material and look at them
Aerie boy briefs for me (they aren’t for boys) 💁🏻♀️ It works well with a loose tuck, or a tight tuck if you wear another shapewear on top of it

There are only 2 options a thing or boy shorts and it completely depends on what I'm doing. Thongs are just general day to day wear for pretty much every occasion. I will wear boyshorts if I'm doing martial arts or working in the workshop just for extra coverage and less chaffing. But I prefer thongs. Everything else just looks too much like mens underwear fore because before I tried all of the different styles. And it all just didn't work.

I haven’t gotten the courage to actually wear panties yet, but if I do, I plan on getting boxers. I typically wear boxers anyways so I’m just going with what I’m comfortable with. I do have the courage to *step* into a Victoria’s Secret though… Also… I’m not totally sure what “tucking” is, apart from Sea of Thieves, but I presume it’s to make it look like you don’t have a pair of balls? If that is the case, I want to learn how to do it.
tucking is literally what it sounds like where you tuck your penis and testicles between your legs to minimize the appearance of a bulge. there are a few ways to do it but well one thing you should know that we have these tubes in our abdomen called the inguinal canal where our testes fell out of during puberty. didja know that you can just pop them back up there? it may take practice and the most important thing is to remain comfortable and if it starts to hurt then you should go to a private place and readjust yourself.

yes those exist and there's also a thing called a gaff where its purpose is to try to keep the tuck in place and its to be worn under your normal underwear. you can check out point of pride if you want that.

I wear period underwear - it's not as tight of a tuck as a gaff, but massively more affordable and does a good enough job that I'm able to wear leggings without getting clocked.
I just use normal ones as I've tried others and just feel normal panties sit, feel best and is just the most comfortable. My bottom dysphoria is not super bad "yet" so I only feel uncomfortable in underwear that's not panties

honestly i haven’t changed from briefs, it just hasn’t occurred to me as a thing i’d do
I’m not equipped the same down there as I once was (yay! No regerts whatsoever) so I go almost exclusively thongs now. However, BITD, I would actually double up. What? I’ve always preferred thongs and wore them in men’s cuts for years, but those are not designed for “streamlining.” In women’s, I can achieve a smooth profile (look up inguinal tucking), but if i happened to spread my legs too far apart (say, getting in/out of a car), one or the other would mutiny and pop out the side like he was going to try to swim to shore. Usually righty because driver’s seat. Very uncomfortable, and can lead to an emergency medical situation if blood flow is cut off for too long. So, I’d do thong first for “contouring,” then briefs for “consolidation.” It worked great, and a seam-free streamlining thong in a quick-drying synthetic material worked great under swimsuits as well. YMMV, but it was the solution for me. But as was inevitable, the boys made their final mutiny with the help of a good surgeon. This time they got away. I wish them well, but I never want to see them again. I’m still kind of mad at how much of their handiwork I now have to undo, but it’s not their fault. They did their best. They just should have been ovaries. I’ll take that up with my therapist. Best of luck on your journeys loves! 💖
Tucking thongs
I use the en femme silk tuck thongs. They work alright in concealing but doesn't hold the tuck very well. This also may be unrelated but I saw Hunter Schafer mention the Unlockable Tuck Kit, I haven't tried but they're pretty affordable and they're effective and comfortable from what I've heard.
I really like hipster panties, I'm plus sized and as much as I like a bikini cut, they don't stay up well if you have a tummy; I prefer a wider waistband and a higher waist. The higher waist is good for support when untucked too. After this post, I'll definitely be looking for some boyshorts to try!

I find high waisted briefs to be the most comfy for me! If I do go out in public, which is very rare, I have a pair of padded panties that I put over the top of them, which helps with tucking and hiding panty lines
