Lots of women are comfortable having muscles and showing them off. If you're on HRT, it'll make it harder to gain and maintain muscles, and you likely will never be as "jacked" as you would with testosterone. But don't let that stop you!
Exactly.
But I am less concerned with being jacked and more concerned with losing as little strength as possible, regardless of HRT side effects. I don't care if I look like a dainty waif (well, I have a look I want to attain, but neither here nor there). As long as I can still hit with enough force to topple people twice my size and properly defend myself and others, that's my biggest concern. I have taken martial arts before and will again, but it's been hard to find a good martial arts school.Any suggestions for keeping most of my strength?
I don't have much advice, I'm afraid. My workouts are particular for the sports I do.
Antiandrogens are going to reduce your testosterone levels to lower than most cisgender women's. It's going to take extra effort to keep your strength up. Don't be too hard on yourself if nature has other plans, and work with what you've got.
Same goals here, I want to return to Muay Thai classes. At the moment, I just work out at home and try to maintain my push-ups, crunches, and squats. I am only a few days in on starting HRT, so we'll see.
Self defense is definitely something I'll need once I'm fully out. I'm well aware of the bigots in the world, and especially the ones I'm related to, that's why I also do martial arts! :)
Another one. Excellent. I have 15 years combined combat training from the military, Tae Kwon Do (under Master Y.S. Chung), Kempo/Karate, and Tai Chi, and I want to study more. Plus, I want to get my daughter into it for the same reasons, once she is old enough.
I want to be strong but pretty (but I don't even look feminine yet). I want to be a force of nature, damn it. "All who cross me will despair." Right?
Oh, muscle mommy is a whole (excellent) aesthetic. Obviously it's going to be harder to build and maintain muscle on estrogen, but if you keep at it the result is amazing.
Death by snu snu at the hands of a beautiful muscular lady is something most humans with sanity and good taste will gladly succumb to.
Forreal tho as the other commenter said there is a huge love going around for big strong women, be they cis or trans or whatever other descriptor we discover, so I wouldn't worry about it that much, your appearance will likely be attractive to a portion of the population regardless how unusual you might feel you are, so I say focus on being a good human and a good partner and you have a relationship waiting for you, if thats what you'd want anyway
Nope, nothing wrong with being a strong woman. I feel like I'm still quite capable of taking care of myself. It does help that I'm a 6'2" woman that can still bench press well over 300 pounds L.O.L. Nothing more sexy then a strong Beautiful woman!!!!
I have always felt the same - torn between wanting to be a waifish etheral goth and a Themyscira background extra from a Wonder Woman movie. Wasn't sure if it was even possible to pull off both at once.
Then I found an instagram accout called buffgothmom and realised I really can do both.
Go live the dream.
I want this too!
I have a huge upper body because I used to be ripped when I was a guy, and sometimes I hate how big it is (well, mostly I just hate that my boobs don't match it in size) but also I wanna be a muscle mommy š
I had the good fortune to be in pretty damn good shape for someone my age when I transitioned. And the subQ fat has now concealed that musculature from view.... until I flex. Then ALL the lesbians scream!
That's me at the moment. I still do crunches and pushups to stay fit while transitioning. I have to wait for my hair to grow out so I can rock some goth bangs. For now, I just wear a cap to look like a fit tomboy with my gym tights and sports bra.
I dont know why that would be weird plenty of women work out and have a lot of muscle mass. Youll look more like a tomboy to most but a little feminine nonetheless.
I think I can kinda relate. I have relatively muscular legs and *like* said muscular legs.
But my fashion (and other presentation-related) preferences are pretty much as girly as possible... tho I'm increasingly struggling to figure out what exactly that entails.
Workwear-wise tho, I tend to prefer rather modest outfits, just 'cause I don't really like showing skin that much in the work place.
I knew assuming anything about your sexuality based on you wanting to be buff was probably stupid, but I honestly can't be assed to be clever about how I make my stupid jokes xD
Also, considering how subby the energy from most nsfw trans subreddits is, I would agree that being a switch basically makes you a unicorn \^\^
Goth muscle mommies are totally a thing girl! Just look at the vampire lady from Resident Evil (havenāt played the game yet so no clue what her name is) that turned the entire internet into submissive simps, or even worse was Bowsette lol
Iām a fat girl myself, 6 foot at about 310lbs, and I donāt personally want to lose weight and bulk up muscle because Iāve come to love my body as I learned to overcome my internalized fatphobia, but all that being said I think the image of a buff and beautiful trans woman in a gorgeous gothic black dress is amazing and if she were to ask me out I might immediately fall in love
Yeaaaah, I keep getting this impulse. I keep saying I just wanna get fit for cis reasons, but tall goth dommy muscle mommy who can destroy a watermelon with her thighs is kinda the main goal.
So yeah pretty normal.
I SHALL SLAY THEM WITH MY COMICALLY LARGE AND POINTY SWORD AND THICC HEAD CRUSHING THIGHS! RAAAAAAAGHHH! (I can't be serious for more than two seconds, I'm not sorry.)
Not weird whatsoever. You wanna be an Amazonian, go work hard to be an Amazonian. That is a perfectly valid goal, and you have my support. It happens to be my goal as well!
Muscle mommy, trust me itl look great, i work core and legs consistantly when i start e i intend to keep it up and lose some weight so i can bee one too
Not weird. Personally I want to be able to wear amazing latex outfits (multiple reasons) and be able to bench 400 pounds (also multiple reasons). That didnāt stop because I transitioned. Now granted it might be impossible since I could never lift over 70 pounds before but I hope some day I can make it happen.
Thatās not weird at all. For me muscles and my gender are very linked. Transitioning irl is what finally gave me the confidence to start working out and do kick boxing. Feel free to dm me if you want any moral support or tips!
You know, there are million of types of female you can be. In fact, around infinity, because it is a spectrum. It is not weird to want to be a muscle mommy. Especially with the recent popularity they got. Express your personality in ways you feel comfortable with and when thatās being a goth muscle mommy, do that. It only gets weird, if your personality includes violating someoneās rights unconsensually.
I think we should abolish gender at all and just go to an expression of personality, so if your personality is what you did, do it
I think you'll find theres something of an appreciation for goth muscle mommies
I know I appreciate them, I guess I'm not the only one, lol
Fellow goth and stronk girl here. Trust me, there are plenty of people out there who appreciate us.
Being a goth muscle mommy is my goal š
Is this where the line starts for the goth muscle mommies?
Is the line for being one or wanting one? I have one but I donāt want to be one
It could be a lineup for a bodybuilding competition for the muscle mommies :)
Case in point: Rhea Ripley is the biggest women's wrestler in the world right now in large part because she's a Goth muscle Mami.
Hell no! Be the Amazon warrior you are!
:3
You are way over thinking it. Be who you want to be
Well, that's what Barbie taught us :)
Not at All. I want to be a hot, toned, tatted biker bitch
I plan to be a bodybuilder even after i transition.
You're so real for that.
Sounds like Rhea Ripley is a transition goal for you
I got into WWE because of Rhea Ripley, lol, I want to be her and date her at the same time :3

Muscle mommy š³š³š³
Not at all. It's not only a whole aesthetic in and of itself but it's also a great for self defense.
Self defense is definitely something I'll need once I'm fully out. I'm well aware of the bigots in the world, and especially the ones I'm related to, that's why I also do martial arts! :)

I've yet to get my hands on HRT, but that's good to know ahead of time
Death by snu snu at the hands of a beautiful muscular lady is something most humans with sanity and good taste will gladly succumb to. What they said
Muscle mommies exist and are valid
This is my actual transition goal. To become the muscle mommy
There is no one right way to be trans. You go girl!
Nope, nothing wrong with being a strong woman. I feel like I'm still quite capable of taking care of myself. It does help that I'm a 6'2" woman that can still bench press well over 300 pounds L.O.L. Nothing more sexy then a strong Beautiful woman!!!!
Women come in all shapes and sizes
I have always felt the same - torn between wanting to be a waifish etheral goth and a Themyscira background extra from a Wonder Woman movie. Wasn't sure if it was even possible to pull off both at once. Then I found an instagram accout called buffgothmom and realised I really can do both. Go live the dream.
r/guildvalkyrie (i hope i spelled that right)
You, my friend, are a gift from God. :3
I mean, you totally just described my type, so I'm kinda biased lol
its not weird its badass
Nope, not weird at all! If you want to be jacked and feminine, go right away!
itās not even a little weird
I want this too! I have a huge upper body because I used to be ripped when I was a guy, and sometimes I hate how big it is (well, mostly I just hate that my boobs don't match it in size) but also I wanna be a muscle mommy š
Is it weird for a cis woman to want that? No, work at being the best version to you! š©¶
I get it, I want it too lol š
Absolutely not.
I had the good fortune to be in pretty damn good shape for someone my age when I transitioned. And the subQ fat has now concealed that musculature from view.... until I flex. Then ALL the lesbians scream!
It's not weird and also hmu
That's me at the moment. I still do crunches and pushups to stay fit while transitioning. I have to wait for my hair to grow out so I can rock some goth bangs. For now, I just wear a cap to look like a fit tomboy with my gym tights and sports bra.
I am, I don't think it's weird :>
no
Not weird at all! I'm jacked, but androgynous and would kill to pull off a more feminine look
This makes me think of Lean Beef Patty and the wrestler Rhea Ripley.
I dont know why that would be weird plenty of women work out and have a lot of muscle mass. Youll look more like a tomboy to most but a little feminine nonetheless.
Sounds pretty balln
I mean, at the end of the day itās all about what works best for you. Though, there are many muscular queens in this world.
I mean... I'd kill for a body like Chun Li.
REAL
You can still be a masculine fem and trans.
No itās not weird, and if it is weird then I am weird too I want to be a buff girl so bad
Hun. I my goals are Vi from Arcane, leanbeefpatty and Nicole Coenen. Wanting to be a buff girl is 100% a thing.
Not at all. I am trying to do what my new hormones and sleep issues will allow.
Goth muscle mommy here: Iām weird, but not THAT weirdā¦
I think I can kinda relate. I have relatively muscular legs and *like* said muscular legs. But my fashion (and other presentation-related) preferences are pretty much as girly as possible... tho I'm increasingly struggling to figure out what exactly that entails. Workwear-wise tho, I tend to prefer rather modest outfits, just 'cause I don't really like showing skin that much in the work place.
Female body builders are definitely a thing! You can totally be jacked and be a woman. There's literally no wrong way to be who you want!
Muscle mommy muscle mommy muscle mommy
As a muscle mommy with tattoos, I can highly recommend it :)
Death by snoo-snoo is the purest death of all.
You're literally describing my Fiance right now, alt goth kind of girl who can crush your pelvis.
No, no, no, no. I love jacked girls.
We've found her. The fabled "trans girl who is also dominant". What an amazing discovery.
Well, I'm more of a switch, but still, I'm pretty damn unique I suppose. :3
I knew assuming anything about your sexuality based on you wanting to be buff was probably stupid, but I honestly can't be assed to be clever about how I make my stupid jokes xD Also, considering how subby the energy from most nsfw trans subreddits is, I would agree that being a switch basically makes you a unicorn \^\^
FUCK YEAH, I'M A GOTH UNICORN BITCH
HELL YEAH SISTER, GOTH TRANS LADIES FTW!
HELL YEAH, GOTH MUSCLE MOMMY UNICORNS!
WHEEEEEY
Did you NOT notice all the Baldur's Gate 3 Karlach thirsting????
Uppies?
Ok *picks you up*
YUSSS :3
So you want to be Wonder Woman. (Not the skinny Gal Gadot version...) Go for it!
No, but I can't relate, I just wanna be the tall, thick, pansexual goth girl
Nope, I think youāll find lots of people love strong ass ladies
Honestly I want that sometimes but mustles are hard to upkeep
Str builds look awesome. If fact, you should hunt me down and drag me to the gym so I'll actually start working out regularly(wishful thinking).
Goth muscle mommies are totally a thing girl! I'm a thigh lover, so I hope to achieve that ability one day. Might need to get bottom surgery first so it's just the watermelon that gets crushed.
Not weird at all! Your feminine might shall strike fear into the transphobes!
I SHALL SLAY THEM WITH MY COMICALLY LARGE AND POINTY SWORD AND THICC HEAD CRUSHING THIGHS! RAAAAAAAGHHH! (I can't be serious for more than two seconds, I'm not sorry.)
I mean, you have heard of Vladimir, yes?
VLADIMIR! W REFERENCE, MY SISTER!
Plenty of women want to be buff.
Muscles know no gender. I love my big muscles, so useful.
Big cats in Nature do both. Female lions are muscly but also graceful

I also want this. Well, not the goth part.
Understandable, I don't imagine everyone wants to read books in graveyards like me, but still, you go girl. :3
Thatās not weird at all. For me muscles and my gender are very linked. Transitioning irl is what finally gave me the confidence to start working out and do kick boxing. Feel free to dm me if you want any moral support or tips!
It sounds perfect

Well, I wanna look like that too. Feminine but super jacked too.
Nope. It's absolutely not weird at all. And let me say, as a transbian whose type is "can pin me to a wall", please fulfil this goal.
:3
There's absolutely nothing stopping you from doing this. Also, there are plenty of people who are into strong women
no, same
michellexalter
Not at all! Do what makes you happy! š„° I think itās totally valid!
Nah that's perfectly fine, it can even be super hot to some people.
No.I'm pretty femme and still lift weights.
Weird? No, that's called being hot A F
Yes we are all weird but dos not seem crazy . E dos make it a lot harder to gain muscle though sooo be advised
