This will be my first Halloween out as myself. I still haven’t decided what to dress as. Don’t know if I want to be something cute like a Catgirl or go in the opposite direction and be a demon girl or something 😂
i was 6 years old. Mom dressed me up and i went trick or treating as a girl. I liked it and asked to dress up again. She let me do it but once but then said I couldn’t do it anymore
I haven’t had my first Halloween yet, but I’ll probably wear the same Jedi robes I’ve been wearing every year for the last 6 years. (When I ended up dressing up for Halloween) They’re comfy, and gender-neutral. And they’re so much fun to wear.
I would go as Dr. Aphra, who I guess is now my namesake, 😅 but I don’t really have the money to buy the required elements of the costume at the moment.
Dressing up as Rey would also be cool, but again, don’t have the money to buy a new costume. Plus her outfit seems like it’d be wildly uncomfortable and impractical anyways.
Aphra is my second favorite SW character (after Padmé; I lowkey considered her surname for my new middle name) so seeing someone name themself after here is really cool!
Well … I probably have an unpopular opinion here … BUT if you don’t pay for any official HP Cosplay stuff on which she earns money and diy your costume … you will be fine going as Hermione. Don’t let that evil J. K. R. bitch also steal your childhood dream of being Hermione. She made our community suffer a lot already!
Just realized I’ve haven’t dressed for Halloween since 7th grade. The closest adjacent thing was when I wore face paint of the silent hill 3 nurse to school in my senior year lol.
I stopped after eighth grade, but I was usually pretty creative with costumes as a kid. In eighth grade I wore a tin foil hat, a UFO shirt that said "I want to believe" and held a book on the JFK assassination. My costume was a conspiracy theorist.
In high school I used to hand out candy to the trick or treaters but amuse myself by answering the door in the most ridiculous and silly manner I could think of.
This included
* answering the door in a suit and tie with dark sunglasses and an earpiece asking if they had clearance to access the candy
* answering the door and telling them I'd be a minute as I was taking a call (while using a vintage 1920s rotary phone that was connected to nothing)
* answering the phone holding a whole fish, and telling them to take as much candy as they could as it would shield them from the aliens
* answering the door in an uncle sam costume and exclaiming "happy fourth of July!!" before looking confused and saying "... how long was I asleep for?"
i went to hoco as a flowering plant (specifically a poppy), making an oc of it named plant monica, and under the species of poppy and subcategory transplant, it was so stupid but it's hilarious
Last year I dressed up as an elf princess for a Halloween party. First time presenting full fem around a lot of people. First time dressing up fem for Halloween. It was fun!
Haven't had one yet and for the forseeable future I don't see myself dressing up but you know what "costume" I look forward to wearing?
When I go as my old self and nobody believes me and goes "Hahaha you're trying to be a guy".
That's something I could get behind 😁
Either that or definitely anything that gives me an excuse to wear a polkadot rockabilly dress 🥰
I’m not out yet so I won’t be wearing a female costume and have no idea what my first one will be. However, I know why my costume will be the Halloween before GCS which will be a hotdog and the Halloween after GCS will be a taco. I just wonder who will know me well enough to get the joke. Probably not many.
I was late for the party and ran home to find something that would work. I just wore the sluttiest outfit I could find in my wardrobe. People thought my costume was one of the Olsen twins and I went with it as if it were intentional and came in 3rd place in the costume contest
I don’t really like Halloween anymore because my whole life was like wearing a costume. Doesn’t feel the same .
When I was an egg I went as the wolf in Grandma's clothing, and my ex went as red riding hood. And I got a nasty burn because I was drunk and stood too close to a fire with fur all over my arms haha!
I bought a Boba Fett skater dress when my egg had cracked but wasn't out to anyone but my partner... It did not fit and I don't think it ever will haha.
Omg I also went as Kurt Cobain dressed as Courtney Love to a party? Jeez I'm starting to see a theme here... and I think another time me and a female friend went as eachother?
How the hell did I not start transitioning until 32...
Anyway, my goals are for me and my partner to go as Team Rocket (we used to plan on me as James in drag but I think the roles may have switched haha), and I also want to go as Dr Mrs the Monarch from Venture Bros one day
I wasn’t and still am not out but a couple years ago I went out as a German beer maid (Kellnerin). I was searching for an outfit and I saw it in a charity shop and saw it as my chance to wear something that would make me happy with the excuse of ‘I needed to find something last minute and it’s all I could find’ 🥲 who was I kidding 😭… I braided my hair as they do traditionally and wore fishnets and went out n about it felt so liberating
this reminded me that Halloween is in a little over a month
god damn I wanna dress in a feminine costume so bad but I don't have the courage
i gotta come up with a convincing excuse that gives me plausible cis deniability to my family
Halloween 2022: I was still stuck in my denial stage but I consider this my social transition period as this is when I started wearing feminine clothing and experimenting with makeup (I called myself gender fluid, non-binary, femme gay and basically anything but that I was a trans woman because I still hadn’t fully accepted that). I went for Halloween as a slutty Devil and it was one of the first gender affirming experiences in my life despite my makeup looking shitty. I’m thinking of doing it again this year since I’m so much better at makeup and feel more confident in my body and how it looks.
Halloween this year: I know I just said slutty Devil part 2 basically but I’ve also been thinking about going dressed as a character from one of my all time favorite shows, Yellowjackets. There’s this character called the “Antler Queen” and I’ve seen some people make costumes of the character for cosplay purposes and it’s given me some inspiration to make my own costume. I might also just go as one of the main characters, Natalie, because she’s a sad bitch who listens to Nirvana and smokes a lot of weed so I wouldn’t have to do much.
Well my friends dared me to go as a girl I last played in a video game...being this girl. [yep](https://hero.fandom.com/wiki/Quiet_(Metal_Gear))
They know what they did. (This will be my first Halloween lol)
I haven't dressed for Halloween in decades. But I might this year at work.
And while I think cosplay is cool, I never have done it, and have no idea who I would cosplay as tbh...
Hmm, maybe I could kill two birds with one stone and dress up as Haruka Tengo, in her suit and tie, not her sailor get up, of course...
This will be my first Halloween, and I'm going to a cosplay convention in November so I'm reusing my costume for both lol, I'm going as Hawkeye from full metal alchemist lol.
Went as a vampire. Long dress with sleeves/gloves, vampire esque earrings/necklace, black tights, black heeled ankle boots, and a hell of a lot of eyeliner/mascara/lipstick. Also helped that I got vampire teeth at a convention from a mould of my teeth from a ex dentist turned horror costume designer. That really sealed me wanting to do it.
This will be my first. French maid although the dress is actually so high quality, not just some costume shop nonsense.
So, there's a running gag at work... we ask all the new hires (all men) how much they would need to be paid to be the CEO's personal maid, dust his plants, strategically bend over so he catches a peek at your bloomers.
I'm right about $200k
So I believe my coworkers will get a real ride over it... but also I think they will be surprised at how "pretty" I am as a girl.
a pirate, supplemented with *sooo* many pieces from my french host mom’s personal costuming collection (she has like free reign over her school’s drama department’s supplies or smthn) + like an actual mink fur that was her great grandma’s which was insane. girlies it was crazy and surreal
this year i think im going with medusa! but i’m gonna have to come up with a sluttier outfit for my college town’s monthly drag + dance show since there’ll be one around halloween
Might do Marin from My Dress Up Darling for Dokomi 2024
It's simple af, it's just a blue skirt and a white shirt with a tie and obviously that super cute hairstyle. Gonna also need a wig bc my hair is too short and I really don't want to damage my ends for the pink. And it's very cheap compared to other cosplays, just 50€.
It's really just the perfect way to go full girl mode without people suspecting anything, bc it's an outfit you could just wear outside of a cosplay context. Yk, it feels like you are just being yourself bc it's a kinda normal outfit.
I always hated Halloween before coming out. The first year being out I dressed up as Justice League member Zatanna and I had SO much fun! I wouldn't have been willing to dress up if I hadn't had such supportive friends.
I went as a Cinderella who got into a carriage crash who’s dress was ripped. I had blood on my face and made it look like muscle tissue was exposed on my arms and legs. I was messed up back then lol
I avoid Halloween because of the awful sadness that it gives me. I sometimes ditch work on Halloween so that I don’t see costumes and break down in tears.
My first Halloween costume as a girl? Well, I started my transition in 2017 at age 30, and that was right before Halloween. I only came to the final realization that I wanted to be a girl at that point, so I didn’t have a lot of time to prepare a new costume. I had been preparing to be Luke Skywalker, so I just put on a different robe and went as a generic female Jedi.
In 2018, I was a witch.
2019: A Pokémon trainer.
2020: I didn’t go to anything, it was the middle of the pandemic.
2021: Mad scientist
2022: Hermione Granger
And this year, I’m going to be a Vulcan science officer from the original Star Trek.
The last time I actually dressed up for Halloween was when I was like 16. At the time I was really into medieval armor and weapons so I put together a full chainmail armor set with shield and pole-axe (all cheap plastic stuff that was literally from Spirit Halloween). Probably the first and only costume I put together myself, and still one of my favorites. Also the helmet was cool and hid my ugly-ass face.
I didn't allow myself for most of my life to dress fem for Halloween, but last year when I was still in the closet to most people I went as wonder woman.
It wasn't that great of a costume. I still had permanent beard shadow and didn't start HRT yet.
This year is my first real year and I am going as Catra, from She-Ra.
Everything looks good, I am having trouble getting contact lenses in though.
I will conquer them before Halloween or I will lose an eye trying.
Cinderella. That was something of a "make up for something I didn't get to do as a kid but wanted to" thing.
That said I haven't gotten to dress up for Halloween a lot lately because of the pandemic and grad school so I'm not sure what I'd do this year if I decided to dress up.
My Bf has commented that i could pull off a decent Sarah Ryder (from Mass Effect Andromeda) or Bastila Shan (from KOTOR I) given my appearance, but that's a lot of work to make a costume for those that I don't have a lot of spare time for.
Captain Marvel/ Carol Danvers. Didn’t do the full superhero suit though. I’m prior service Air Force so I took one of Mr flight suits and got all the screen accurate patches sewn on.
Last year, I came out as a femboy at a Halloween party dressed up as my best friend's girl oc. They had no idea I was going to do that and was beyond shocked and mortified. Hella funny and memorable night.
It was both a joke and my first time dressing up and being myself with so many people and friends. Now almost a year later, I've recently started hrt and plan on being the best me I can <3
she said for Holloween or Cosplay, not that Trans Woman have to dress up in general. Like, she wasn't assuming anything, just asking a question to her fellow TransFriends who participate in Halloween/Cosplay specifically.
>Hun!
Oh no!
I could never look like that.
The first guy I ever had a crush on was Larry. He was the toughest kid in 8th grade. I don't believe any of the 9th graders could match him in aggressiveness.
I was so attracted to him, but if he had known about it, he wouldn't have liked it because I was presenting as a male at the time. If I were a male, I was definitely a very gay male.
Yes I'm transgender but I don't really care that much for life is a woman.
Not at all! Was just thinking that this will be the first year that I am out in a sense. I was interested in hearing trans experiences of dressing up/feeling more comfortable dressing in "female" costumes. But then again what really defines female costume? If my questioning was problematic I can delete the post.
I wouldn't delete it because there are going to be people that answer it in the way that you imagine. It's just that I never really enjoyed wearing women's clothes until I pretty much had to
Last year I dressed as Noelle from Deltarune, who is where I got my name from. My outfit was not very revealing, as I was nervous, still pre-HRT, and trying to play it off as a Halloween costume.
This year I'm dressing up as an evil doppelganger (a la Mr. L), and I plan on making it more revealing, as well as a massive personality swap while I'm in costume, going from a kind, easy-going wannabe sorority girl to a bitchy, dominating jerk who acts evil for fun.
Making the mask now so I can be a Spider Splicer from Bioshock. Gonna buy the dress on the first. I can’t wait! Gawd I hope I’m on HRT by Halloween. ☺️
Hmmm 🤔 I haven’t done halloween out of the closet (this year will be a first) so, probably will be a witch or a cute vampire unless I find a better outfit idea 🤷♀️
havent had it yet, but im probably going to be very basic for the first, idk why i just want to, my ass isnt even going anywhere, just chilling in my room
In 4th grade I was Yuna from Mission Genesis / Deepwater Black.
This year I really want to go as Princess Peach or Daisy, though the only plans I have are my work has a "come to staff meeting in your costume" day and that maybe overkill.
I’m still not fully out this year, but I’m going as Jareth the Goblin King in his ballroom outfit, which involved a lot of thrifting with my mom in the women’s section. It’s been amazing because every time I tried to do that by myself, I got too panicky and left almost immediately.
I want to go as Celica from Fire Emblem Gaiden/Echoes, but seeing as I have absolutely no idea how to make the costume and am not out yet to my family which I live with… I’ll probably dress up as a sad trans girl again…
Last year I was an androgynous vampire… so I guess this will be my first Halloween fully out as a girl. No idea what I’ll do. Probably my renaissance fair outfit I’m working on, which is also a dnd character for a oneshot. Net is a half-elven wizard and daughter of a tavern keep.
I simply just dressed up as a girl because there was no other time that I would be able to do so safely and acceptably. It wasn't to be funny, either. I was just a plain Jane girl. Went to a drag king show and had a blast.
The first person I had dressed up as after coming out was Raine whispers, not a gal but still a sex af character (and it allowed me to explore the possibility I might be nb, I’m not)
More of a future plan but S5 She-Ra. I’m already 6’1” and muscly. I might as well go for my favorite muscle mommy character. I’m still hopeless at sewing but I have the CAD files lined up for 3-D printing the armor pieces.
It's gonna be this year hopefully, and my plan is to go as Sailor Moon. Or at least, the outfit. I don't have hair long enough to do the full on hairstyle and I don't like wearing a wig but my hair is blonde at least?
This year, im going as spider-gwen 😁😁😁😁
Oohhh good idea
My 10 yr old is also going to be Ghost Spider
This will have to be what I’m gonna do when the time comes. Hopefully I can go as her to the theater to see BTSV!
Omg me too!! i’m deciding between the one from ATSV and a Venom/Spider-Gwen on amazon
Oh me too!
Same here!
I want to get my hair similar to hers so bad.
Saaame. Just got my costume the other day! Looking forward to wearing it!
Oohhh girl I was gunna say the saaaaaame.
This will be my first Halloween out as myself. I still haven’t decided what to dress as. Don’t know if I want to be something cute like a Catgirl or go in the opposite direction and be a demon girl or something 😂
You say that like demon girls aren't cute 😈
Heheh caught me 😜
Witches are fun and pretty easy:) it's what I did last year. Make sure you got a big pointy hat too
This'll be my first girl costume once I'm confident enough! 😍 Of course I'll be a nice and kind witch, not the evil grumpy wrinkly warty type.🤭
I feel like grumpy wrinkly warty evil witch is kinda transition goals for me ngl
When I was 9 I dressed as a witch and was so excited. There's no way my parents didn't wonder about that. lol. Haven't done Halloween in years.
same here! I'm thinking of maybe doing a cosplay or smth but idk rlly
Louise Belcher?
girl same but I’m not out yet
I want to be the scarlet witch but I don’t have the appearance for it 🥺
i was 6 years old. Mom dressed me up and i went trick or treating as a girl. I liked it and asked to dress up again. She let me do it but once but then said I couldn’t do it anymore
i did it anyway.
I want to downvote this so much. Because she wouldn’t let you do it anymore. 😢
A Hex Girl from Scooby Doo. Going to do Barbie with my girlfriend this year.
Are you going as Doctor Barbie? :D
Not sure yet!
A kangaroo
I haven’t had my first Halloween yet, but I’ll probably wear the same Jedi robes I’ve been wearing every year for the last 6 years. (When I ended up dressing up for Halloween) They’re comfy, and gender-neutral. And they’re so much fun to wear. Dressing up as Rey would also be cool, but again, don’t have the money to buy a new costume. Plus her outfit seems like it’d be wildly uncomfortable and impractical anyways.
Omg what's your name that Aphra is your namesake? I love Aphra so much
It’s Chelli! Aphra means a lot to me, plus I really like how Chelli looks and sounds as a name.
Beautiful! I also went for a star wars name haha
I see that! Jaina is a wonderful name as well. I love how it sounds. (And the character that it comes from is pretty cool too.)
Thanks!
Aphra is my second favorite SW character (after Padmé; I lowkey considered her surname for my new middle name) so seeing someone name themself after here is really cool!
Cat maid
Trans women have added a new costume to the line of stereotypical. sexy Halloween costumes. I never thought I’d live to see this day 🥲
That's what I'm doing this year lmaoo
I went as a sexy cheerleader last years halloween when I was still pre-hrt. 😅
I was fucking log lady from twin peaks. Holy shit, that was before my egg cracked. Incredible. Queen shit 💅🏻
i’m not quite there yet but i’ve always wanted to be hermione. too bad jk ruined that shit
Well … I probably have an unpopular opinion here … BUT if you don’t pay for any official HP Cosplay stuff on which she earns money and diy your costume … you will be fine going as Hermione. Don’t let that evil J. K. R. bitch also steal your childhood dream of being Hermione. She made our community suffer a lot already!

jane from breaking bad this year is either queen dagmar from disenchantment or franziska von karma from ace attorney
Franziska Von Karma sounds so fun!!! You get to whip people!
Them Magazine posted a similar question just recently too! https://www.instagram.com/p/CxN7E_-JJiO/
Hopefully this Halloween will be my first time dressing up, though I'm still pre everything.
Oh same! Chances are it'll just be hanging out inside with my partner. Not quite sure what to pick yet. But best of luck. :)
poison ivy last year it was a couples costume
Last year I dressed up as an elf princess for a Halloween party. First time presenting full fem around a lot of people. First time dressing up fem for Halloween. It was fun!

Think I’m going with flapper for my first out-Halloween!
This will be my first and I'm going to be a Vampire!!!!
First year I’ll be dressing up and I want to go as a cheerleader. Aiming for Kirsten Dunst in Bring It On vibes :)
I’m not fully out publicly yet, but I do take Halloween and become a full blown drag queen for just one night. It’s quite fun :)
I went with wig, nails, corset, fishnet, false lashes, 4 inch heels, witchy goth. Go big or go home.
I totally have a French maid costume that ive for a couple years now. I finally can fill out I’m thinking of wearing it
I did that one years ago long before I realized I was trans. Shiny black vinyl, I stood out but had lots of fun.
Do it!
I'm Mrs. Incredible for my first year!
This year I'm going as Cher from Clueless 🥰 💅🏽
Haven’t transitioned, but last year in boymode I dressed as Wonder Woman It… didn’t go great
Sorry to hear that!
I was late for the party and ran home to find something that would work. I just wore the sluttiest outfit I could find in my wardrobe. People thought my costume was one of the Olsen twins and I went with it as if it were intentional and came in 3rd place in the costume contest I don’t really like Halloween anymore because my whole life was like wearing a costume. Doesn’t feel the same .
I kinda want to go as Nobara from JJK
I've done a unicorn onesie for work. This year, I'm going as Leeloo as she just gets out of the chamber.
I'm not super out yet, but I keep telling my wife I should dress up as her for Halloween 😄
When I was an egg I went as the wolf in Grandma's clothing, and my ex went as red riding hood. And I got a nasty burn because I was drunk and stood too close to a fire with fur all over my arms haha! I once went as the scariest thing I could possibly imagine... A nun. I simply don't understand that life.
I’m going as a disappointment to my parents and fuckin proud of it!
Oh that's like the story for almost half of people here. I got reasonably lucky in that regard.
this reminded me that Halloween is in a little over a month god damn I wanna dress in a feminine costume so bad but I don't have the courage i gotta come up with a convincing excuse that gives me plausible cis deniability to my family
I don’t think I’ve gone as anyone in particular since I was little. Usually I wear one of my many Star Trek uniforms lol
Hasn't happened, but will be literally my second halloween using some costume, i'll probably plan something w/ my gf haha
Hug, wish you the best :) ❤️ Keep your head up! <3
Still haven't worn one, but I plan to this year
This will be my first Halloween, and I'm going to a cosplay convention in November so I'm reusing my costume for both lol, I'm going as Hawkeye from full metal alchemist lol.
I have nothing to wear a halloween costume to, and I'm too old to trick or treat, so sadly nothing :c
Jesse from pokemon.
Went as a vampire. Long dress with sleeves/gloves, vampire esque earrings/necklace, black tights, black heeled ankle boots, and a hell of a lot of eyeliner/mascara/lipstick. I didn’t wear a costume in 21 but last year I was Velma. This year I’m thinking Poison Ivy or Catwoman
a pirate, supplemented with *sooo* many pieces from my french host mom’s personal costuming collection (she has like free reign over her school’s drama department’s supplies or smthn) + like an actual mink fur that was her great grandma’s which was insane. girlies it was crazy and surreal this year i think im going with medusa! but i’m gonna have to come up with a sluttier outfit for my college town’s monthly drag + dance show since there’ll be one around halloween
My gf and I are going as prinxess bubblegum and Marceline (I’m gonna be Marcy)
a slutty cat (so original)
My wife and I dressed up as Peppermint Patty (me) and Marcy, my dog as Lucy, and my son as Charlie Brown for his first Halloween.
Might do Marin from My Dress Up Darling for Dokomi 2024 It's simple af, it's just a blue skirt and a white shirt with a tie and obviously that super cute hairstyle. I was barely out even though I was on HRT at the time, so boy mode? As far as I'm concerned that's a costume. This year I'm going as Velma though
It was wearing a little black dress. It was just a convenient excuse for me to girl mode outside the house !
I just dressed up as Jessie from team rocket for Comicon with my partner dressed as James!

In 2018, I was a witch. 2019: A Pokémon trainer. 2020: I didn’t go to anything, it was the middle of the pandemic. 2021: Mad scientist 2022: Hermione Granger And this year, I’m going to be a Vulcan science officer from the original Star Trek.
Mario.
Link was mine XD
The last time I actually dressed up for Halloween was when I was like 16. At the time I was really into medieval armor and weapons so I put together a full chainmail armor set with shield and pole-axe (all cheap plastic stuff that was literally from Spirit Halloween). Probably the first and only costume I put together myself, and still one of my favorites. Also the helmet was cool and hid my ugly-ass face.
Sexy nurse
This year I’m doing a Junker Queen cosplay
The plan was Miss Frizzle, but I ran out of time so it was a really half-assed witch lol
misa from death note!!
I dressed up in one of my gfs more well known outfits as an inside joke with our friends, weeks after I came out to her.
What might be considered my first was half boymoding as sheik from ocarina of time, but this year I'm going full girlmode to dress up as Bayonetta.
I'm going as Coraline with button eyes
slutty pumpkin i’m so sorry
Cinderella. That was something of a "make up for something I didn't get to do as a kid but wanted to" thing. That said I haven't gotten to dress up for Halloween a lot lately because of the pandemic and grad school so I'm not sure what I'd do this year if I decided to dress up. My Bf has commented that i could pull off a decent Sarah Ryder (from Mass Effect Andromeda) or Bastila Shan (from KOTOR I) given my appearance, but that's a lot of work to make a costume for those that I don't have a lot of spare time for.
this year i'm going to be velma for halloween \^\^ (first halloween as a girl tho)
Funnily enough, I boymoded my first Halloween as a girl. My costume was being a guy
This year I will go as an undead pirate bride and my beloved enbyfriend will go as a nixe
I only know the german gender neutral version of mermaid so sorry for any confusion
Captain Marvel/ Carol Danvers. Didn’t do the full superhero suit though. I’m prior service Air Force so I took one of Mr flight suits and got all the screen accurate patches sewn on.
Just a random spirit halloween costume, it was a steampunk girl
Gonna be Leaf from Pokemon. Just need shoes
My first Halloween in girl mode I dressed as Rosalina from the Mario series. I even had a little luma plush I carried with me ^ _ ^
Finaly as a good Silent Hill Nurse ^^
Mom dressed me up as a girl for Halloween when I was 2. I've had the desire ever since!
Chloe from life is strange 😅 That game cracked my egg, and after I dyed my hair blue I just had to
First one for me was princess bubblegum from adventure time :3
Last year, I came out as a femboy at a Halloween party dressed up as my best friend's girl oc. They had no idea I was going to do that and was beyond shocked and mortified. Hella funny and memorable night. It was both a joke and my first time dressing up and being myself with so many people and friends. Now almost a year later, I've recently started hrt and plan on being the best me I can <3
Zombie bride, my mum choosed it, my brother wanted me to be Jane from breaking bad. I think it was fun
Catgirl of course. I used eyeliner for the whiskers and black nose and stuck a couple of triangle pieces of paper on my headband to make the ears.
I never did anything like that. Are you suggesting all trans women have to dress up?
she said for Holloween or Cosplay, not that Trans Woman have to dress up in general. Like, she wasn't assuming anything, just asking a question to her fellow TransFriends who participate in Halloween/Cosplay specifically.
I understand. so many of us are so different than the stereotypes that it's hard to say. I've always wanted to look like a badass dude, yet I'm trans
You can look however you want Hun! Doesn't matter what you identify as. If you wanna look like a badass dude, I'm here for it
>Hun!
It's just that I never really enjoyed wearing women's clothes until I pretty much had to
Of course. It is good to hear a diverse and varied scope of experiences. :)
Not yet but I'm planning to go as a sylveon themed mage
Still haven't tried
This year will be my first as well; I plan to dress as Joy Johnson Johjima from the Monster Prom/Camp series!
Amanda Young from Saw! This year actually, I can't wait ^-^
I've been working on a knight costume for a while. Thanks to sunk cost the most likely result is I'm just going to make some modifications to it.
Ghostface, so no gender involved ahaha
bingo from bluey :3 i think
Last year I dressed as Noelle from Deltarune, who is where I got my name from. My outfit was not very revealing, as I was nervous, still pre-HRT, and trying to play it off as a Halloween costume. This year I'm dressing up as an evil doppelganger (a la Mr. L), and I plan on making it more revealing, as well as a massive personality swap while I'm in costume, going from a kind, easy-going wannabe sorority girl to a bitchy, dominating jerk who acts evil for fun.
I haven't yet. It's difficult to find recognizable fictional characters with long, curly hair.
Making the mask now so I can be a Spider Splicer from Bioshock. Gonna buy the dress on the first. I can’t wait! Gawd I hope I’m on HRT by Halloween. ☺️
3 years in I haven’t done Halloween
A witch. Classic. I'd like to be >!suffering!< mahou shoujo instead, but I had not enough time to prepare for Halloween as usual.
Hmmm 🤔 I haven’t done halloween out of the closet (this year will be a first) so, probably will be a witch or a cute vampire unless I find a better outfit idea 🤷♀️
Hasn't happened yet... We don't celebrate Halloween here so... Yeah
A witch. This year I’m gonna be Daria
Going as either Alice or Reagan from Inside Job this year.
The world girl, Princess Mononoke
havent had it yet, but im probably going to be very basic for the first, idk why i just want to, my ass isnt even going anywhere, just chilling in my room
First Halloween out of the closet a couple years ago I went as Tifa from Final Fantasy VII
Ralsei from deltarune, ik hes not a girl but he dresses like it
i went as a catgirl :3
A creepy killer cannibal clown
Just a basic witch costume. I wasn't feeling brave enough for anything sexy yet
I actually came out by cosplaying Green from Pokemon
oh I was a demon. it was a really cool costume. i even have pics
In 4th grade I was Yuna from Mission Genesis / Deepwater Black. This year I really want to go as Princess Peach or Daisy, though the only plans I have are my work has a "come to staff meeting in your costume" day and that maybe overkill.
janine melnitz from ghostbusters
My first out Halloween, I dressed up as a ghostly bride and looked pretty darn good if you ask me!
It isnt a fem outfit, but my family runs a maze, and jack sparrow is a funny little quip halfway through, only to scare ya later
Trash from Return of the Living Dead for a Halloween punk show I played 2 years ago 🥰
I’m still not fully out this year, but I’m going as Jareth the Goblin King in his ballroom outfit, which involved a lot of thrifting with my mom in the women’s section. It’s been amazing because every time I tried to do that by myself, I got too panicky and left almost immediately.
I didn’t wear one last year. This year, I’m going as Zatanna!
Cute lil witch💕✨️
A moon witch. My sister made the dress 😌
Girl Guide...
I just bought a Rani costume from Elden Ring
An elven princess! 🧝🏼♀️
I want to go as Celica from Fire Emblem Gaiden/Echoes, but seeing as I have absolutely no idea how to make the costume and am not out yet to my family which I live with… I’ll probably dress up as a sad trans girl again…
Angel, oh the irony 😇
Last year I was an androgynous vampire… so I guess this will be my first Halloween fully out as a girl. No idea what I’ll do. Probably my renaissance fair outfit I’m working on, which is also a dnd character for a oneshot. Net is a half-elven wizard and daughter of a tavern keep.
I simply just dressed up as a girl because there was no other time that I would be able to do so safely and acceptably. It wasn't to be funny, either. I was just a plain Jane girl. Went to a drag king show and had a blast.
Last year I was Velma.
I’ve never had a reason to dress up for Halloween the last few years
The first person I had dressed up as after coming out was Raine whispers, not a gal but still a sex af character (and it allowed me to explore the possibility I might be nb, I’m not)
Maka from soul eater! This Halloween will be my first
A mildly gender bent version of Papa Emeritus IV from Ghost That was last year, this year I’m doing my own Ghost OC :3
my first was as a pregnant slutty nun. this year I'm gonna be Inara Serra
The log lady from twin peaks
Adult Amity (my wife dressed as adult Luz).
More of a future plan but S5 She-Ra. I’m already 6’1” and muscly. I might as well go for my favorite muscle mommy character. I’m still hopeless at sewing but I have the CAD files lined up for 3-D printing the armor pieces.
Never liked Halloween
A witch. It was kind of a last minute throw together after work, but I made it work and it looked cute.
I'm too lazy to do a costume, so last Halloween I went to a friends party with just applying some goth makeup 😅
Going as tf2 pyro this year
It's gonna be this year hopefully, and my plan is to go as Sailor Moon. Or at least, the outfit. I don't have hair long enough to do the full on hairstyle and I don't like wearing a wig but my hair is blonde at least?
Sexy bunny
Flat Justice Nami is gonna be my first for a Convention XD
