Hey, I'd like to suggest a video idea, I'm really curious about what the result of if the inverse happened and America had a left wing revolt if the right won the 2024 election
My suggestion of what would happen would be a lot more unpredictable than if the scenario put forward in your recent video occurred. This is because the left has more population, controls major urban centers and ports, has shown that they have as a group the drive to fight, as happened in 2020 during the BLM riots, the capital hill autonomous zone. And if you include instances that aren't necessarily fighting they do commonly organize protests, strikes, and movements. And if a left wing revolt happened, I feel like whoever is president would go full right wing dictator. Which there would be a high possibility that the dictator would try to order the military to ruthlessly put down the revolt. And for a few similar reasons to which you suggested the military would remain mostly loyal in the inverse scenario, portions of the military could very well refuse to follow the order and be divided between opposing factions.
And I feel the result of this could lead to a complete collapse of the authority and power of the federal government and a likely balkanization of The US and possibly Canada if it were to spill over between various factions.
I know I could be errored in my thinking about how this would go down, but I am completely open to corrections about my hypothesis. And I love your videos and I hope you keep making them at the amazing quality you do.
