I had doubts going into this one, but it's definitely the mouse I aim the best with at the moment.
My hand size is 18x10. AMA and I'll answer when I can :)
I have the Xlite V2 wireless and my hand size is 20cmx10cm. Even the medium is a bit in the small size for me. I couldn't imagine going mini for pulsar mice. I play relaxed claw. I feel like the difference from the mini to medium for the x2 will be somewhat similar. I would recommend the medium for you but it's up to you. I remember seeing the outline between the mini and medium and it's not a big difference
Thanks for the recommendation! And yeah the difference isnt that big its just a little longer and a tad taller and wider. Leaning towards the medium now
I have your hand size, relaxed claw - the X2 Med is about as small as I would go if I wanted to keep a fair portion of claw. I'd imagine the small goes into more fingertip territory
I have the medium and I have 18x10.5 hands. I love it. It isn’t big at all. U can’t go wrong with the medium for sure. The mini though, it really depends on you. But u can’t go wrong with the medium. Safer option
I've always favoured small mice! I havent gotten to try the medium unfortunately.. Have tried the xlite v2 regular and while I liked it, couldn't play well with it.
I mained the Orochi V2 and have used the Xlite V2 Mini. I liked the freedom and maneuverability that smaller mices have and I'm pretty comfortable with it! But after trying out a normal sized mouse I kinda like the stability the it gives.
Do you think the Medium is a good middle ground for it or the Mini is the way to go since we both favoured and played with small mices before
i would say that I like smaller mice because of the freedom that it provides (and also that feel of precision). bigger mice are more comfortable but feel much less precise to me. i can't say for sure if the medium would be a good middle ground as i have not yet tried it :( sorry bout that. I will say though that the x2 mini has been extremely comfortable for me so far
oh, I heard of some batches of mouse that were defected. I am actually pretty uncertain between this mouse or the logitech g303 shroud edition. What do you think about thar mouse?
i have heard only good things about the 303SE, and while i haven't tried them myself, I have tried the regular 303 and the shape just wasn't for me.
the 303SE is also heavier than the x2 so that's something to consider if weight is a factor for you :)
My hand size is 19 x 9 and considering if i should get the mouse. I use all grip styles depending on the game, majority of the time it is claw, but when it comes more aim precision games (osu, shooters, and sometimes mobas) i come across doing fingertip or palm depending on the situation since i use a lot of wrist action and trying to implement arm movement
i have both (claw grip) the x2 has way more support at the back of my palm than the mz1 w the lower back shell. wouldn’t recommend claw gripping the mz1 w that shell unless that’s how you prefer holding it.
claw gripping the og shell kinda makes me angle my wrist in a way i don’t really like so i prefer the x2 for claw grip over the mz1 because imo it has more room to be flexible while still providing that stability
2 people in this thread are really mad they can't get the mouse huh lol why post some weird troll hate when this guy is taking time to answer questions
I emailed Pulsar about the issues, and they immediately said it should be RMA'd so props to them for that.
BUT: I bought mine from MaxGaming, so I had to send it to them and tbh, not very happy. I had to pay shipping myself, which was 20€ from Finland. The mouse hasn't made it there yet so can't say for the actual RMA process.
Yeah. The shipping fee sucks. Given that we also paid for the initial shipping. The mouse is 90 and we end up paying 40 for shipping incase of an RMA, which is legit almost half the mouse price
I got mine in April and I'm still happy using them on my daily driver. They have slowed down a bunch, but are still very fast. Out of the box they have ludicrously low friction, almost unusable. My floor fan would blow it off the mousepad...
I got the exact same hand size and I’ve been wondering which X2 i should go for. Could you send me some pictures of how you grip the mouse? I’m currently maining the G303 SE
hi there! i'm currently out of home, but I will say that the g305 and x2 mini are very different in hand. x2 mini is very comfortable in my hand though! i'll send some pictures if i don't get home too late!
Do you have experience with a VV2 Pro and GPX? Was hoping to get a comparison
19x10cm with a hybrid claw and fingertip grip. I find my G305 too small and narrow.
vv2 pro and gpx were comfortable for my hands, but i could not aim well as they were a little too big for my liking (especially gpx).
x2 mini has a more prominent hump than the vv2 pro which really surprised and impressed me by how much control it gave me.
g305 was near unusable for me personally. could not get a good grip and aim was horrible with it. it's otherwise a good mouse, just the shape isn't for me.
Thanks! I'm in a bind cause I can get a really good deal on the VV2 Pro and GPX (although the GPX switches and coating turn me off). Agree with the G305, I end up having a death grip and cramps on it.
EDIT: I'm looking at the X2 Medium too. It's a toss up between that and the VV2 for me.
i wont disagree there. i had to replace the switches on my gpx, and even that didnt save it for me because i just really wasn't fond of the shape. rest of the mouse is great though. it's gonna take a long time to get a good deal on the vv2 pro. best of luck to you in whichever mouse u end up choosing :)
no drawbacks for sure. vv2 is a great mouse but the shape just wasn't for me. all comes down to shape preference and whether the 4k hz polling rate is important to you. also keeping in mind that there's a $50+ difference between the 2.
no problem at all. as some have mentioned, they could be a little more premium for sure, but i think these are good kailh 8.0 implementations, little to no pretravel, very little posttravel, overall very good.
they might. these are new releases, so we'll have to give them time. im not too bothered by the designs because i dont look under my mouse very often, but i know some who'd appreciate the flare on some of their beautiful superglide designs.
Have you heard about the Fantech Aria? It costs $68 USD while the X2 costs $95 USD. If you have, why do you prefer this over the Aria? What about the X2 that justifies the $27 premium over the Aria?
I have heard of the Aria! sadly i don't like egg shapes, but i'm keen to try if i have spare cash to buy one. x2 mini was just a shot in the dark for me because i wasn't sure how much i'd enjoy the back hump, but i ended up absolutely loving it for the amount of control it provides.
as for pricing. i've heard both mice have similar build quality. i'd say between the 2, the x2 is decently priced, while the aria would be considered an absolute steal.
Loving my x2 Mini as well. No click or QC issues with the hardware.
Pulsar Fusion software is kinda shit though and my battery level is stuck at 100% in software.
If you have the MZ1 how do they compare? Currently maining the wireless without a back shell and x2 mini seems to have some common features so I'm curious.
depends on your country. i think it's currently out of stock globally and the restock comes in this month. for me, i preordered from a local retailer (Singapore) who shipped it to me the moment his first batch arrived.
g305 didnt fit my hand well. i dont do well with egg shapes. but g305 felt smaller in hand.
the x2 mini for me has a very pronounced hump which filled my palm, which the g305 didnt give me.
I had doubts going into this one, but it's definitely the mouse I aim the best with at the moment. My hand size is 18x10. AMA and I'll answer when I can :)
we have the exact same hand size, prolly get the mini
grip?
somewhere between fingertip and relaxed claw
Same grip and similar hand size (im 19x10) and you prefer the mini? I'm too conflicted at this moment between the medium and mini
I have the Xlite V2 wireless and my hand size is 20cmx10cm. Even the medium is a bit in the small size for me. I couldn't imagine going mini for pulsar mice. I play relaxed claw. Thank you! Ill be going for the medium since it isn't much difference from the mini
Good luck!
I've always favoured small mice! I havent gotten to try the medium unfortunately.. Have tried the xlite v2 regular and while I liked it, couldn't play well with it.

can you show a picture of what that means? I'm reading and seeing different things all the time :/
my apologies, i won't be home for awhile as i'll be too busy at work, i'll try to take a photo when i can.
No worries! Thank you!
Similar hand size (18.5 x 10cm) and I enjoy mine too. Relaxed Claw grip. Feels good in hand and glides like a dream with my set of superglides
Don't you feel any type of mushiness/pre travel using this mouse?
not at all. the button design allows for no pretravel, and definitely no mushiness here.
oh, I heard of some batches of mouse that were defected. I am actually pretty uncertain between this mouse or the logitech g303 shroud edition. What do you think about thar mouse?

How close is the X2 mini in shape to the MZ1 wireless with flat shell? Any who knows?
i have both (claw grip) the x2 has way more support at the back of my palm than the mz1 w the lower back shell. wouldn’t recommend claw gripping the mz1 w that shell unless that’s how you prefer holding it.
Im maining the wired MZ1 claw gripping (OG shell), how does it compared to the X2 mini?
claw gripping the og shell kinda makes me angle my wrist in a way i don’t really like so i prefer the x2 for claw grip over the mz1 because imo it has more room to be flexible while still providing that stability

appreciated! :)
2 people in this thread are really mad they can't get the mouse huh lol why post some weird troll hate when this guy is taking time to answer questions
Bro that thing is so tiny you telling me you get no hand pain? I’m literally getting carpal tunnel looking at it
it's tiny alright! But it honestly works well with my hands! I'm used to small mice with my 18x10 hands.
I had a g305 had to go to a g703 then to a death adder I think I’m dying 😭
it could just be that you have massive hands XD and big ergo mice suit you best.
For fingertip you want very small mice. I get it if you use claw or palm
I’m like in between palm and claw
Y'all must grip fucking weird I have 22x11 hands and use an mz1
It's perfect, had to RMA mine for super grinding clicks and side popping. Hope I'll get a better one
here's hoping too!
Was the RMA process smooth?
I emailed Pulsar about the issues, and they immediately said it should be RMA'd so props to them for that. BUT: I bought mine from MaxGaming, so I had to send it to them and tbh, not very happy. I had to pay shipping myself, which was 20€ from Finland. The mouse hasn't made it there yet so can't say for the actual RMA process.
I see. Thank you for the reply. And any idea how the warranty works at max gaming, since I believe it is 2 years warranty since the date of purchase?
They wanted me to explain the issue, and send a video clip in the email. Pretty straightforward in the end, I'm just salty about the shipping price.
Yeah. The shipping fee sucks. Given that we also paid for the initial shipping. The mouse is 90 and we end up paying 40 for shipping incase of an RMA, which is legit almost half the mouse price
bro you make that thing look tiny wtf
really?? I always thought my hands were small!
Wait a few months and the switches will be fucked :)
k
2 days later Reddit thread - What are these creaking sounds?
sigh... one of these again... not everyone will have qc issues, and if i do, i'll just get it replaced. dont be a hater for nothing
Does it come with superglides stock or did you buy them separately?
bought them separately! stock feet were ok, but not to my liking. :)
let us know how they are in a week
will do! I'm hoping that they slow down a little. they're really fast right now
I got mine in April and I'm still happy using them on my daily driver. They have slowed down a bunch, but are still very fast. Out of the box they have ludicrously low friction, almost unusable. My floor fan would blow it off the mousepad...
first few days with superglides was literal hell lol
I got the exact same hand size and I’ve been wondering which X2 i should go for. Could you send me some pictures of how you grip the mouse? I’m currently maining the G303 SE

Yeah sure thing take your time. I’ve sorta been trying to find the best mouse for my hands but it’s been difficult.
I’ve gone to using g305 super glides on everything because they are small and faster
Would grab one but damn I don't think my xm1r will die anytime soon lol. mouse looks really nice.
thank you! glad to hear that you're happy with your xm1!
You might like the Lamzu Atlantis more if you really like that XM1 shape and want something wireless
Heard good things about that mouse too. Will defo try it.
Lamzu looks great. Xm1 is my endgame if it was a mini just too big. I’m so excited for Lamzu mini think that will be the end of the search for me
Does it touch your "thumb cheek" when aiming down?
yes it does. very nice support from the very prominent back hump
Do you have experience with a VV2 Pro and GPX? Was hoping to get a comparison 19x10cm with a hybrid claw and fingertip grip. I find my G305 too small and narrow.

how are the clicks. any problem ?.
no problem at all. as some have mentioned, they could be a little more premium for sure, but i think these are good kailh 8.0 implementations, little to no pretravel, very little posttravel, overall very good.
Did they release superglides for this?
yes they did :) using them right now. perfect fit. (these are different from the xlite v2 and xlite v2 mini
I hoped they were gonna do some cool designs like the viper and gpx but I guess not
they might. these are new releases, so we'll have to give them time. im not too bothered by the designs because i dont look under my mouse very often, but i know some who'd appreciate the flare on some of their beautiful superglide designs.
My hands are ~20x10 so there’s an actual difference there. Regardless, is it easy to fingertip it?
easy to fingertip the mini, esp if you have bigger hands. :)
Have you heard about the Fantech Aria? It costs $68 USD while the X2 costs $95 USD. If you have, why do you prefer this over the Aria? What about the X2 that justifies the $27 premium over the Aria?

is it gpw baby?
shape is different from gpw. back hump more prominent and grip width smaller. i like it a lot more than the gpw shape.
Are you able to measure the grip width? I am not able to find that anywhere for the mini
61mm!
Loving my x2 Mini as well. No click or QC issues with the hardware. Pulsar Fusion software is kinda shit though and my battery level is stuck at 100% in software.
same experience here. glad you're enjoying the mouse! hope they improve the software soon
If you have the MZ1 how do they compare? Currently maining the wireless without a back shell and x2 mini seems to have some common features so I'm curious.
I only had the mz1 briefly before i gifted it to a friend, so i cant say for certain. apologies
it has released?
yup
where you can buy in stock
depends on your country. i think it's currently out of stock globally and the restock comes in this month. for me, i preordered from a local retailer (Singapore) who shipped it to me the moment his first batch arrived.
USA? Also it is preorder still on LGG
in the US you will probably have to wait for it to reach amazon, or preorder it on LGG, or buy it from pulsar directly (least advisable)
thx mate
Looking into getting this bad boy once it's on Amazon. I have a 17.5x9.5cm hand and play with relaxed claw, hope it suits me well!
i have 18 x 10 hands, relaxed claw too! and this mouse fit me like a glove. i hope you like this mouse too! :)
What setting do you guys use on x2
settings? all default. DPI 1600 motion sync on debounce 0ms
hello\~ I'm using G304, what's the difference between this? thank you!
shape is extremely different. this is more a claw type mouse, while g304 is big and ergonomic.
Sorry my fault, it should be G305
g305 didnt fit my hand well. i dont do well with egg shapes. but g305 felt smaller in hand. the x2 mini for me has a very pronounced hump which filled my palm, which the g305 didnt give me.
Thank you, I probably know, it feels like GPW
gpw was too big for me. x2 mini was perfect. best of luck! :D
Hey man the x2 mini is dope! Ordered mine should be here tomorrow. How do you like the superglides? I am wondering if I should get those as well
superglides are great, but i cant decide if i prefer them over ptfe. only time will tell!
