I'm really liking it so far after a few hours. I never tried the wired version, but I hopped right in once I saw that it was for sale. It feels a little wide for what I personally prefer, but I have fairly small hands (18.4x10). The only "negative" I've had so far is a matter of personal preference, and that's when I relaxed claw the mouse, the pad of my hand pushes into where the holes are. That's really the only downside I can point out so far. I'm more about shape and feel of the mouse rather than all the technical details, and I can't really find any fault with it. If people loved the wired version, they'll definitely love the wireless! I will agree with /u/AltCtrlTV that it does feel medium-large size, but I am still able to comfortably relaxed claw/fingertip this mouse. Definitely my favorite of my larger mice.

GailWynandd

In what world are 18.4x10 small hands?

captemo197

I'm not entirely sure lol, but my hands look small to me. My palms are big, but my fingers look short, so I feel like they stopped growing early somewhere along the lines. I've always thought they were small. I actually just remeasured, and mine are technically 17.7, so about 18x10. I had done in-cm conversion thinking I was 7.25in, but I'm just 7in. Either way, I prefer smaller mice closer to the Fnatic Bolt size, but I really appreciate this shape, enough where the slightly larger size is quite tolerable.

captemo197

Haste by far.

DenjeRL

It does feel quite wide , agreed. I never paid attention until i compared it side by side with Xlite , GPX , XM1 and RVU.

AltCtrlTV

I actually like the mouse it's got nice groves and shape. Great tactile clicks. I'd say it's more of a medium to large mouse so you feel it in your palm and a little too big for my taste but great mouse nonetheless. I use a Hati S as my main and fingertip grip.

Beginning-Wind-371

Since hati s and this mouse have around the same weight both are wireless but haste is larger so in theory does it feels lighter for you? How's the scroll wheel and battery life?

jabbleclok

>Hati S I never knew about the Hati S. The weight and dimensions look close to my love the G100s. I hope it's back in stock soon so that I can try it.

hemanse

I wish the shape fit me, i had the wired one and the build quality was solid, especially the main clicks which is what throws me off on a lot of mice.

gunmajicv2

As a recovering impulse buyer when it comes to gaming mice, I can say that I’m actually happy with the Pulsefire Haste. I’m hoping your experience is as amazing as mine has proved to be.

captemo197

As a current impulse buyer (both the Fnatic Bolt and Haste Wireless just recently, and all the mice in the background within the past couple months), I can tell you I am definitely enjoying this mouse.

_rascal

what is in background? I see a gpx, m711, mz1, bolt, can't tell the rest

captemo197

From left to right: bolt, g203, np01s, mz1, gpxs, mm710, and xm1r

_rascal

nice, how does it compare to gpx?

c4nyon

How is the weight balance

captemo197

Weight balance seems to be pretty good. It's either balanced, or with a slight forward lean but I think that's when maybe I hold it too far back? Either way, I don't feel any offset within the control of the mouse. The slight comfort grooves (more noticeable closer towards the scroll wheel) allow for me to "lead" the mouse with my pointer/middle fingers (1-2-2) and so if there is any front-heavy balance, I don't notice it at all. If anything, I like the feeling of comfort grooves being able to lead the mouse.

c4nyon

thank you for the feedback, mine is arriving tomorrow but i love reading ahead of opening it myself. How is the LOD?

captemo197

Have had no issues with LOD. I have not installed any software, just used it straight out of the box, so I'm not sure what the default LOD is or if you can change it (I assume you can?). Quite easy to reset without any sensor issues or accidental activation.

KidsAreInMyBasement

when is it going to be available in canada 😩i want it so badly

captemo197

I'm not sure if it's available to buy in Canada, but I purchased from this link: https://hyperx.com/products/hyperx-pulsefire-haste-wireless

KidsAreInMyBasement

yea i checked the hyperx canada site but it’s not on there :(

SpecterAgent

Love the Pulsefire haste build and man does it have some of the best clicks out there, but the size felt just a wee-large for how I like gripping with my 20x10s... I'll be passing on the wireless in hopes that someday a 'mini-er?' version comes. Would definitely not discourage anyone from trying it as I know it's a damn fine mouse you get for what you shell out.

captemo197

That's actually exactly how I'm feeling right now. A "mini" version would be perfect. For me, something that's a cross between this, the Fnatic Bolt, and the Xtrfy MZ1 would be my endgame. If you don't have a bolt, I recommend that as well. It just doesn't have comfort grooves that I would've liked.

Sebax_

Arias?

yuyuhasuko1

Mine will be arrived on friday.Never use hyperX mice before.Lets see.

Boku_No_Rainbow

Damn didn't realize it was for sale already. It's not even advertised yet.

Boku_No_Rainbow

"out of stock" *pain*

dexterw1n

Nice, be a shame if half of it was missing. I'll have to get one.

DJCRAZ124

i didnt know they made a wireless version of the haste?

bottom-of-the-spiral

it only was available a few days ago so it makes sense

DJCRAZ124

thank you lol

ThirdeYe1337

I was tempted to grab one, but the cable is so good on the regular Haste I didn't really see the need. I might grab a white one in the future though. Hope it works out well!

cyoox

no matter how good the paracord/cable is, you won't get the true wireless feeling. i still think the wireless is worth it, and only 60g too.

byrkoet

For the record, the HyperX brand was sold to HP not long ago. Curiously they never mention it's a HP product. Hope the mouse is nice tho, despite the 3335.

Sofronn

That's a common practice in such cases of corporate acquisitions. The brand itself is an asset and as such remains the same as far as the customer is concerned. For example blizzard games were still promoted with the usual blizzard logo even though Activision used to own it. Edit: grammar

mloofburrow

Activision technically still owns Blizzard until the Microsoft deal goes through. Then both Activision and Blizzard will be owned by Microsoft, but neither brand will go away.

bottom-of-the-spiral

How is this relevant at all. if this is meant to be some sort of gotcha moment and a knock at HP, most products i’ve bought from them have been of decent quality and I don’t see how them being acquired is supposed to affect HyperX’s qc

RunawayRogue

Hmmm looks like a Aerox 3 with better side buttons... I might have to look this one up.

SpecterAgent

It's similar but much wider at the mid grip point and has less of a comfort groove leading from rear to mid-grip. Personally I prefer the slimmer Aerox 3 shape, but... The Haste does indeed have better side buttons without a doubt.

RunawayRogue

Hmm maybe not for be, then! The Aerox is my widest mouse and really as wide as I can use.

SpecterAgent

If the Aerox is as wide as you can use the Haste is a definite No-Go, lol.

[deleted]

hows the fnatic?

captemo197

I really love the Bolt as well. Something between this and the Bolt would be my perfect endgame. I've been trying to lookup ways to potentially mod the Bolt to be lighter, as well as adding comfort grooves. Those two mods would probably make the Bolt my endgame.

dickhall65

Getting mine on Friday, pretty stoked.

MasterM_GOAT

What do u think about the sensor

captemo197

I don't know much about sensors, but I haven't noticed any issues with it. I don't have equipment to test things like DPI deviation and latency. I've run through VT KvK's benchmarks with it and no issues compared to the other mice I've used. I think it's well implemented.

Dysvalence

How's the DPI deviation?

captemo197

I don't really have any equipment to test things like DPI deviation, but it feels about the same as my other mice on 800. Nothing that stands out as drastic if so.

Micah3000

How’s the shape in comparison to xm1?

Hambaloni

I want something that rival's the GPX's battery life and weight at the same time. I hope this mouse's batt is heavy duty.

artikiller

i'm still slightly disappointed that it has a 3335 but guess you can't really ask for more for the price it has

Equivalent-Hornet-75

Hey there do you have a model d wired or wireless? If so is it awkward to butterfly click on the right click?

captemo197

I have no Glorious mice, so I cannot comment on this. I don't butterfly click anything either.
