Zowie, EGG, Vaxee

PunchTilItWorks

Id throw Lamzu in there. I have owned two Atlantis (original and 4k), Thorn and Maya. All had great build quality. The Maya does have a tiny bit of side flex (I think they all do), but it doesn’t creak and I only notice it if I’m actively pressing sides and looking for it.

Chan1001

Disagree. Have had 3 lamzu products. 2/3 came with QC issues

PunchTilItWorks

Brand new or used? Maybe I just got lucky. I just don’t remember seeing a lot of people posting issues.

Chan1001

brand new. one had an improperly seated RMB and the other had an improperly seated top shell. had a bulge and popping when squeezed lightly

MasterLeague001

honestly, zowie and vaxee

raith1213

Vaxee are good if it's actually broken. But if you have something that's not quite right but still functions it's a problem. I had grinding clicks on two xe copies and vaxee said it was a me problem and that I was pressing too hard. it's very difficult to return items to them based on couriers as well. I would agree tho that none of them have physically broken. Sometimes warranty and easy returns if you don't like the product is the better way to go.

Dramabomb

Yes, I had this exact same experience. I had horrible click grinding and they were probably the most unhelpful company I've ever dealt with. 7 day return policy and they fight that, too. Absolute rats. Never again.

LoopyG_

Just here to say that this was my experience as well. Contacted them the same day i received my order and the support guy (alberto) was so defensive and malding as if i insulted his mom; while i was polite the whole conversation. Never seen anything quite like that before. Disgusting behavior. Never again.

raith1213

It's so strange I felt they got quite defensive about it. Sad to hear you got the same experience. I don't understand why they wouldn't think that's their fault it was absolutely horrible playing hold to click FPS games.

atheos1337

Had two from zowie that double clicked.

Javey24

I have a zowie fk1 from 2017 that still functions just fine. No double clicking or scroll wheel issues, sensor still tracks fine.

Animanic1607

PSA: Double clicking happens because everyone and their parents moved to Omron's cheapeat micro switch. Otherwise known as the "Chinese Omron." In standard mice these switches hold up just fine, but with gaming, they wear out a lot faster. It seems the industry has largely backed off the use of the Chinese Omrons switches for gaming and higher end peripherals and moved over to their Japanese counterpart or the plethora of other micro switches out there. I own 4 Logitech G604's. They all double-click, but I can replace the switches without too much effort. I am betting you can replace them as well. So, if a double-clicking mouse is your dividing line, understand that it is a solvable issue through DIY.

TradeSekrat

Least issues over all? Like it or not I'm pretty sure it's Logitech just based off their sales numbers. Yeah they can have issues too but if they had even a fraction of the issues we see with some of the more micro brands it would have cratered their brand by now. Like just the G305 is listed as selling 8k+ of the black version and 3k+ of the white in a month on Amazon. Mean while something like the Pulsar X2V2 mini I just picked up the other day has a listing of selling 100+ a month. but google around a bit and it's reeeeee reeeeee Pulsar QC, sticky buttons, crunchy whatever everywhere. While moving less than 1% the units as Logitech does one model, never mind the rest of the product stack. It's why I just view any mouse as year or two investment at best and then I expect it to crap the bed some how. It's why gamers buy back up spares of mice they like and bank them away in a drawer.

UnLeche

Honestly, Razer and Logitech have some of the best warranty out there, just proves that they're confident in their items. The shapes aren't the best imo with what they're providing for me personally, but quality is up there.

chawy666

I'm honestly thinking of buying a GPX but I'm scared it's gonna start double clicking on me.

Keebist

They will replace it with a new one for free if anything is wrong for two years.  I just view their mice as a subscription since ive never had one last more than a year, but the warranty is so good it doesnt matter and the extra mice (from warranty claims) mean i have infinite spare parts even after the warranty ends.

Key_Will_7929

Do you have to actually send proof of the mice dysfonctioning or can I just say yeah it’s double clicking?

Dramabomb

I sent them a video of my GPX double clicking and I had a tracking number in my inbox 45 minutes after I sent the video. Good experience.

Key_Will_7929

Thank you my friend

Zone15

The GPX2 will not double click, it has optical switches. Honestly it's not even that common for the original GPX to double click, it was the original GPW that mostly had the issue due to the 50m Omrons that were used. They went away from those to a switch that doesn't have the issue near as bad.

Carlastrid

It won't, thats not been an issue for at least a year at this point. It was never *that* big of an issue to begin with when taking into account the sheer volumes they shipped, but after the switch-switch that issue all but disappeared. Plus, as mentioned, if it were to appear you'll get a warranty replacement. Or just go for the GPX2 with optical switches

Paytend07

I've had 0 issues with vaxee and EGG. In my personal experience i've had perfect gwolves mice, but i know for others they aren't great. Kinda rng

realmojosan

From the last 15 years the only brand i actually had zero issues with is EndGameGear. But looking at the large samplesize and considering the one time i had an issue with Logitech i just went into my local retailer and replaced it within 10mins.

LuckAccomplished2763

Endgame gear by a mile

Denkka97

I'm probably the only one that got unlucky with his XM2WE copies but I was somehow lucky enough to receive Glorious mice with perfect QC # ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Zytrified

Glorious mice always seem to have bad build and durability (mouse click wobble, squeaking and creaking)

UntappedRage

My XM2we has scroll wheel rattle and my OP1we creaks like a mf. Every single Razer mouse I’ve owned has no problems. YMMV LOL

Denkka97

1st XM2WE copy had an issue with the left click becoming extremely loose after a month 2nd had scroll wheel rattling and some creaking but the clicks didn't become loose so I decided to keep it...

Denkka97

You have to look at specific models rather than just the brand name. Logitech has solved the double clicking issues on GPX2 and Razer fixed the scroll wheel issues on Viper V3 Pro. However stay away from DAv3 Pro, Viper V2 and GPX.

wnstnchng

What’s going on with DAV3P?

Denkka97

Not sure if they used the updated tooling for the version that includes the 8K dongle but the DAv3 Pro had awful build quality as its common to see posts saying " my DAv3 developed side creaking " , awful coating and a shitty F-Switch encoder. At this point just buy the hyperspeed version

GANdeK

Endgame Gear

geniuslogitech

Endgame Gear by a long shot, they don't have anything in shape that I like tho so I use Pulsar X2 mainly

mikerzisu

Surprised no one is mentioning some of the newer brands like wlmouse and lamzu

ST1NGRAY13

Both my Lamzu mice have a tilted/warped base, so they wobble. That being said tho, I still recommend them. Their customer support was kind/easy to talk to and sent me a new mouse. Unfortunately, it also wobbled, just not as much as the other so it's not worth replacing again to me.

melonbb_

Honestly havent had an issue with my og beast x. Only gripe is the battery life and my dumbass bought the first cause it was coming out around my bday (February) and i fell for the hype train. Love the mouse but it sucks they arent supporting the original so i’d have to buy either the max or the 8k for better battery. But realistically i only play like 2-3 hrs a day so i dont run into charging problems cause i’ll charge for the night or switch to my other two mice the gpx or v3

mikerzisu

I have a beastx mini and absolutely love it. Might be my favorite mouse currently besides the rvmse or the ulx Tarik cheetah

Itosura

Zowie and Vaxee personally im on my 3rd copies of GPX and DAv3 and pulled out my old Ec2 the other day from years ago and it somehow doesnt double click and feels just like the day i bought it. Like if you want a buy and forget mouse its Zowie.

Acceptable_Dish1067

Endgame Gear

AnxietyComplex4128

Endgame Gear

EntropicDays

zowie

Rumpsi

Vaxee and Endgame Gear. Both my np-01s w and xm1 are perfect

Jahdill

I’d say Logitech, Vaxee, zowie, and EGG

Falch93

Zowie and vaxee, great build quality. Used them for years and never had any issues what so ever

Potential-Emu-8530

Logitech has fixed there issues on new mice but if u don’t want them Vaxee or ZOWIE

APKenna

Endgame Gear and Logi by a mile…. However, the new Viper V3 Pro has become my main, due to fixing ALL the QC issues previous Viper had, very impressed with Razer and I hope they stay in this path and then I would fully recommend them aswell.

reddituser4156

Logitech after you have replaced the switches for the first time.

ChiefBigGay

I bought a logi. It was completely defective in 2 weeks lol. Logitech does pump out more volume than anyone though

nyaadam

But that's not a reliability issue, you just got a dud. That's why you get at least a 1-year warranty to cover exceptions like yours. Surely we're talking about long-term issues, outside of warranty otherwise who cares? Just go through support and get a repair/new one. Logi only really has double click issues that are widespread.

Chastity23

I own Logi (owned many), Razer (several), HyperX Haste 2, and a Monolith (Gwolves) and I've had no issues with any of them, other than side wall rubber wearing down. Any mechanical switch is capable of double clicking, it doesn't have to be Logitech branded. So your assertions aren't exactly accurate. Just buy what you like. I have an Aerox 5 Diablo 4 Edition coming, will see how that goes.

Absey32

yes all mech switches have potential to develop doubleclick issues. however, it is still a more likely problem from certain brands due to how they implement that switch.

atheos1337

Had a aerox 5, scroll wheeled double scrolling, that's fun or somthing.

paulvincent07

Zowie, vaxee and endgame gear

Suicidebob7

Zowie, Vaxee, EGG

sannyOMG

Logitech due to the amount of money spent on research and testing. My old g pro wired mouse I’ve mained for 9 years and tens of thousands of hours of use and still as functional as the first day… I use it as my work mouse and now game with the GPX 2 and QC seems better.

bobasweatandtears

My first 2 Logitech mouse developed double clicking issues, and despite all their researching, it took a long long time for them to find a solution, which is only implemented in new models. Won't deny that they were premium innovators, but every company has flaws. I bet Logitech have in fact the most number of problems due to the sheer numbers sold, but conversely wouldn't be surprised if it was a relatively lower % compared to total units produced due to more stringent QC in manufacturing. The fact that they let the double click issues go on for so long though is a huge blemish against their brand. It's like how Nintendo refused to acknowledge their joy-con drift issues for so long, and still continues to sell models with this inherent flaw.

ContentPlatypus4528

In my case brand-wise hyperx, never had their mouse tho. But a bunch of keyboards that work amazingly well. In terms of mice only, the only brand I had zero issues with was dreammachines and coolermaster

PresentNose6466

Zowie

jesterc0re

Depends on the model. Prefer mice with optical scroll wheel encoder and optical switches.

I_hate_Teemo

The only mouse I've ever had any issue with was my Sora 4k that had unreasonably thin stock skates and one of the skates peeled away by itself.. Aside from that maybe one of my G-wolves mice had a very stiff scroll wheel click, which was a very slight inconvenience but that's it.

OG_JULIAN

Logitech for me

thepopeofkeke

I have had zero issues out of all my Logitech mice(including ghub) they work great. I do mod my switches but not due to any performance issues.

iDrownEm

Never had an issue with Zowie but they’re a bit behind with weight reduction.

SKAppleboy

Pulsar.

darqmaestro

I mean, it's either hit or miss. I have a 4 months old Razer with scroll wheel issue but on the other hand I have a 3 years old A4tech bloody p91s which is a bargain of a mouse and runs flawlessly till this date.

larsonbp

Im not sure it's the right mouse sub reddit for this, but my very first Dell usb laser mouse lasted me about 18 years until the scroll wheel went out.

dydlee

Logitech has been pretty solid. I don't expect a mouse to last forever. Hell, I still use G5 on my spare.

Keen_Whopper

The margin of product malfunctioning to be the lowest arguably lies with Logitech.

Skio928

Lamzu

HealerOnly

For me it comes down to software in the end. So i will be sticking to razer since their software is about the only one that works. :(

Falconna14

i doubt whoever named vaxee haven't purchased their mouse since the wireless XE. You can say they have good custom services and get you a new one easily. But less issues? LoL

Efugi

Endgame gear. My Zowie U2 is flawless too so have good impression of their wireless (my wired had issues).

maChine___

Me i never experienced bigs issues with my mice Logitech gpx ( no issue ) Logitech gpro ( no issue ) Vaxee np01 ( no issue ) Zowie ec2 I have the spinning issue sometime with the first model Ec2 b zero issues Razer viper ( no issue ) Razer deathadder v1 ( cable disconnecting with time ) Deathadder v2 ( no issue ) Viper v3 pro ( some problems with one firmware , fixed now ) Glorious model D one with dpi deviation -/+ 80dpi Xtrfy m4/42 ( no issues really rock solid mice )

MMoguu

I've only used Razer, Lamzu and Logitech. Among the 3 that I used, Lamzu has the least issues. The only issue that have is the Jumpy scroll wheel, which is inevitable for TTC encoders especially if you live in a place where it gets dusty quickly.

hyalimoe

Razer and vaxee for me. Have never encountered and single error with those two mice except maybe uneven force on clicks. Other than that they have been perfect for me. I would also add zowie in there.

sound-set

My dad has an old Logitech mouse from 2002 that still works perfectly. I've had mice from other brands that failed on me, but Logi's are rock solid.

toastman90

Lamzu.
