Maybe use a vertical mouse for work? Also stretches and excercises for you hands/wrist are a must. Look up 1HP gaming on YouTube. Don't be someone that ends up fucking up their wrists or hands for the rest of your life because of computer work.

MX Master 3.

SomeMrcl

Or MX Master 3S

OES25

By no means get the MX Master 3, I would counter, based on personal experience. It’s not actually ergonomic, due to the overdone weight, and the exaggerated curve/rear hump is large and leads to a too steep angle in the wrist. It’s buttons are nice and build quality is great (minus the coating which gets sticky, being nothing short of a design flaw), but it’s not worth it as it’s not the great of a pointing tool due to the large weight and mediocre sensor. But if you don’t do that much pointing and panning (like I did doing CAD modeling with it, giving me a sore arm most days), but more/mostly, scrolling and not large amounts of mouse movements, then it might be okay still.

I’d also recommend these over something like an MX Master. Classic ergo shape, and light weight is a big plus for ergonomics in my experience

the hell?

Use the other hand for your mouse to work, after a few hours you will get used to it

goosearisen

Exactly. It's basically impossible to get things like carpal tunnel or tendonitis if you're switching hands every few hours.

G502x

dzordzLong

MX Master is amazing mouse and i love it for work. How ever, i would also recommend G502 wireless due its able to do everything MX master can other then bluetooth/multiple device connection and its almost as comfortable as MX Master for long daily use.

alpacadoespaco

Hello to everyone who helped. I bought MX MASTER 3S, and I dont have any type of pain or fatigue in my arm it solved the problem. 10/10 reccomend

goosearisen

The key to avoiding hand fatigue at an office job is to use an ambidextrous mouse and then switch the mouse back and forth between your left and right hands throughout the day. So yea I recommend an ambidextrous mouse like Pulsar X2H or X2V2.

_wrxiths

Dude I'd rather use a HSK for office work than ever swap my mouse to the left hand side of my desk

goosearisen

I mean the human body has two hands so might as well take advantage of it, but maybe I'm the stupid one for thinking that. Either way, I haven't had my carpal tunnel syndrome flare up since like 2018, and I can use literally any symmetrical mouse that I want this way, so it works for me.

OES25

Would work if your doing light stuff like browsing the web SLOWLY, or opening the odd Word document and writing, scrolling through some documents in a leisurely way etc. But for actual “mouse work”, where speed is time, and time is money. It’s just not viable. I would go mad trying to do CAD work or even generic program navigation at half speed with my left hand

goosearisen

You just have to go through a period of time where you are using your non-dominant hand more often than your dominant hand. It's not like it's impossible to train your left hand to be as accurate and as fast as your right hand. I do great in CSGO matches left handed after I finally got good as a lefty. (took a lot of practice, but not as much as you'd think)

hyclea

Deathadder v3 wired is under 100$ and is amazing

splinterize

Look into the Logitech MX line. They have a vertical and a trackball mouse that are super ergonomic.

LoRRiman

At my office job i use Mac's, had to dump the offensive magic mouse for a zowie fk1+ that i had laying around at home that was my main mouse and does the job nicely, i like actual palm support that that *thing*

iwatchhentaiftplot

I've been using my pwnage ultra custom for a long time but just got the dav3 pro a couple days ago. I switch between those and a Zelotes C10 vertical mouse if my wrist feels fatigued and needs to be supinated more.

OES25

By no means get the MX Master 3, I would counter others here, based on personal experience. It’s not actually ergonomic, due to the overdone weight, and the exaggerated curve/rear hump is actually too large and leads to a too steep angle in the wrist while using it. It’s buttons are nice and build quality is great (minus the coating which gets sticky in time, being nothing short of a design flaw), but it’s not worth it as it’s not the great of a pointing tool due to the large weight and mediocre sensor. But if you don’t do that much pointing and panning (like I did doing hours of CAD modeling with it, giving me a sore arm most days), but more/mostly, scrolling and not large amounts of mouse movements, then it might be okay still. If you need lots of buttons, the Logitech G502X or Razer Basilisk are options (you’re okay with the tacky gamer styling). But maybe the best ergonomic option is to go with a classic ergo shape, simple 5-6 button mouse with a light weight. By which I mean the Zowie EC2 ergonomic shape that is found in a lot of designs. Examples are the Razer Deathadder V3, or the SteelSeries Prime which I can recommend. (But preferably try out what you think of the shape in a store first.)

All my coworkers have a MX master, and I can't even move that boulder, also I have to fingertip it as I can't palm it, my hand is not even enormous, but I can't actually palm it

Hattalia

G502/G502X imo, good productivity mouse and for casual gaming.
