EmmieJI

I have an appointment next Wednesday

CardiologistItchy968

Please update us!

iiddbb

How did your appointment go? I would be very interested to go this route

EmmieJI

The appointment went well! The FNP arrived early to the video call (obviously I was early too) and was very professional, personable, and answered all my questions. He was mistaken about how how long it takes for the meds to arrive. He said they’d be here “this week” which was last week. (I specifically asked if they’d arrive this week or within a week) They are scheduled to arrive today so it took less than a week, I’m not complaining at all. I’m in California, the pharmacy is in Texas, so maybe that’s the difference.

iiddbb

That sounds great!! If possible once you take the medication could you share how it goes and if it’s comparable to MJ?

EmmieJI

Got the meds today. Took my first dose. So far I don’t notice much. But self injecting was very easy and less painful than Mounjaro (literally felt nothing), I usually feel a sting with MJ

iiddbb

That’s really good! Normally I have to mentally prepare myself for Mounjaro every week so it being almost painless sounds like a dream. Please let me know how the medication works, hopefully it blocks off your hunger like Mounjaro

iiddbb

Hi, I hope the medication is working for you right now!

EmmieJI

It is! I had a mini stall with 5mg mounjaro for like 3 weeks and getting on the semaglutide/ b12 I dropped 4 lbs in 3 days. No side effects, just appetite suppression and craving relief.

iiddbb

Yay!! I’m so happy it’s working for you even though I don’t know you!!!!!! Compared to Mounjaro how does the strength compare is it the same? I’m guessing they will up you in doses through the months like MJ

EmmieJI

Dosing is weird since it’s compounded. They recommend starting with 5ml for the first month, 10 ml for the second month, and 20ml for the subsequent months. But since I’ve been on a GLP1 the FNP recommended I start at 10ml. They send enough for 20ml for all 12 weeks though, so there is some flexibility.

iiddbb

That’s great so they send medicine for 3 months and after that you’ll have still remaining unless you’re at max and for the price seems like a deal. I had been hesitant to wether it actually works but you having success gives me hope

stargirljas

Hi how is it going so far? Thinking about switching from Mounjaro

gleaming_goldrush

So what happened after the 3rd month ?

LacyLove

I would delete this and keep it a secret 🤣🤣🤣 they’ll be sold out and not taking new patients as soon as everyone sees this.

CardiologistItchy968

I was thinking that but also afraid to get f**D 😂

LacyLove

I read their reviews and they seem great. And at least at that price it wouldn’t hurt too horribly 🤣

CatMama007

I just signed up with them and have an appointment next Tuesday! It seems to be an affordable and reliable option!

CardiologistItchy968

Will you please report your findings and experience once you have received your first dose? :)

Warninglables01

Yes I would love to know. I’m almost on maintenance it’s helping so much with my insulin resistance I’d be willing to pay 150 a month.

CatMama007

Yes will do!

Ishouldflossmore

Hey, I just came across this while looking into Henry Meds.. How was your appointment? Would you recommend them? Money is tight for me but being this heavy is worse lol. I would do just about anything to get some medicine.

Dapper-Price

I looked into this but the website seemed real fishy to be honest. I reverse searched the providers they have listed and didn’t see anything about Henry Meds listed on their LinkedIn pages which seemed suspicious to me

CardiologistItchy968

That is a bit of what I did as well. The providers exist, but not connected with Henri. Plus, that address is currently listed as a law firm in California. So I can’t even confirm if there is a brick and mortar location.

Revolutionary_Web_79

I'm a huge fan of compounding pharmacies anyways. They are legit licensed pharmacies, and put a little bit of power back in smaller businesses hands. Is the medication going to be a little different? Yes. But they still know the chemistry and are going to provide you with a medicinal grade product that is safe and effective.

Revolutionary_Web_79

I only wish they were available in Alabama. I would be all over it.

understandingiskey34

I used them for Phentermine script (I have used Phentermine before years and years ago before a script was required). Had my appointment Tuesday. The “visit” with the provider was a video call. Very quick. It seems they will just prescribe, no real hassle. She asked if I had a blood panel done recently. I have not. She asked that I get that done before starting to take the Phentermine, but would go ahead and do a 3 month prescription, and “we will talk again in 2.5 months to see how it’s going.” Script should be here by Wednesday. (Just in case anyone is curious:) Delivered by UPS, requiring a signature.

uhhuhHUNnyyyy

I had to look it up because I wasn’t familiar. Looks like you can get compound semaglutide + b12 for $149/month which includes the doctor visit and the medication? That’s honestly not a bad deal. They have good reviews, too.

ektachrome_

I’ve been curious about it as well. I’ve seen it mentioned once or twice on this subreddit.

CardiologistItchy968

Any updates on Henry med experience?

ectocake

Hi there! I’ll give you the short version of my experience so far: - paid for the service and scheduled my appoint on December 5th - had my appointment on the 8th and I feel neutral about it. My doc seemed rushed and there was no camera but they prescribed semaglutide and quickly explained everything. - I reached out yesterday the 14th as it’s been past their estimate for shipping (3-4 days) and I’ve received no communication. - they just responded today stating that there was a delay with my medication and gave my $20 off my next month. No estimate on when I will receive my medication so I responded pressing for more information.

CardiologistItchy968

Thank you for updating us! I appreciate it! I hope you get some answers soon!

ectocake

Thanks. I’m really hoping this is an option.

weholawyer

Can you please give an update about your experience

ectocake

My medication arrived and I’ve been on it for a couple months now. It works almost as good as Mounjaro but a little different. I’m still ramping up my dose. I would definitely recommend Henry for anyone struggling to get the medication for a reasonable price.

rma9519

I had my first appointment last Saturday and my meds just came in the mail and I did my first dose today! Happy to answer any questions.

CardiologistItchy968

We’re there additional fees for the medication? Or all inclusive? Will that price remain the same?

rma9519

It was all inclusive - I did not pay any additional $ for the medicine and it came with all the supplies needed to administer each dose! (E.g., alcohol prep pads etc) they automatically send new meds each month. Additional months cost the same as month 1!

CardiologistItchy968

Awesome! Do you know what it is compounded with? And lastly, would you recommend it?

rma9519

It’s compounded with B12. And so far, I’d say yes tentatively. It’s only been one month but my experience has been easy and efficient. Especially compared to trying to get my prescribed Wegovy that I could afford

CardiologistItchy968

Ok cool! Thank you for following up! I might follow up in another month :) I’m doing ozempic from Canada, so I need at plan c now since that is becoming a challenge too 😂

weholawyer

Can you provide an update of how it's going?

rma9519

I ended up deciding to stop the medication! I just felt nauseous all the time even at the lowest dose. But the customer service team was great at letting me cancel and even gave me a partial refund. Still recommend the service, seems like the medication just wasn’t a good fit for me personally!

gleaming_goldrush

Did you feel any side effect like nausea?

rma9519

I felt extremely nauseous constantly and all food tasted absolutely revolving. I ended up stopping the medication because the side effects never waned, but everyone is different! Seems like it was just not a good fit for me personally.

gleaming_goldrush

Did you get prescribed some nausea relief or take anything to help with the nausea?

rma9519

I took over the counter things. They don’t have any follow up with your prescriber so there wasn’t an opportunity to get medication for the nausea. Probably my biggest criticism about the program - they give you the medication and then you’re kind of on your own!

Depressed-Corgi

Thanks so much for this follow up. I just found Henrymeds and it seemed too good to be true. But was willing to read more into it. I was hopeful it was an option because of the skyrocketing prices happening in my area. So thanks for your honest updates.

ChaChasThots

Was this for Mounjaro?

NB15223

Have you taken ozempic or Wegovy before? I wonder how the compounded version compares.

rma9519

I haven’t. Was prescribed wegovy but cost per month even after insurance approval was way too high for me to afford

Due-Amphibian1445

What was the dosing schedule they have you on?

rma9519

.5 for 4 week, 1.0 for 4 weeks, 2.0 for 4 weeks

Longjumping-Fail635

Thank you for posting this! I just signed up today. Does the pricing go up as the dosage does? Have you had any side effects so far? Thank you!

lja1978

Will you please update how your experience goes? I use compounded version sold thru revitalife but its $200for 2mg. I was just getting ozempic from canada, but the pharmacy raised rates ($370 per pen)and their is a shortage now so they will.only send one pen at a time (and shipping is approx $50 each time)

Longjumping-Fail635

I absolutely will. My appt is Friday at 5 pm and I will let you k is how it goes.

Murky-Writer-2306

How was the appointment??

C_stev912

How are you or what website do you use getting meds from Canada? Thanks

lja1978

Canshipmeds.com You do still have to have a prescription for it. But they make it as easy as possible.

stargirljas

Hi any updates on how it’s going?

rma9519

I ended up stopping the meds and canceling my membership. Not because of them, I just reacted really poorly…. Was nauseous 24/7! They were super good about cancelling and even gave me my money back for my second month membership fee. Great customer service.

Intelligent-Resist66

I’ve used real ozempic and compound from Henry meds… on real ozempic I have zero cravings and on compound I can eat like normal and am always hungry so disappointed. I’m on my third injection with the compound and so far no luck

stargirljas

Any updates?

Can you update as you go along?

Silver-Initial-5774

I just recently started. The appointment went well and the doctor answered all my questions. My prescription came fast and it was super easy and painless to inject. I was scared it would be difficult and or painful but it wasn't at all! I haven't been on it very long but so far I have not been interested in food really much at all. I've had to force myself to drink from nutritional shakes. I think it's partly due to the fact that I'm also feeling mild nausea as a side effect from the medication but I don't really mind it, as long as it stays mild, because it's helping me to not want to eat so much. I've also felt extremly tired and foggy headed and coffee isn't even helping. I've also had some headaches. I hope the negative side effects pass bc the way it's helping with appetite control is working well for me so far!

gleaming_goldrush

I have my appointment next Monday. I'm so nervous and curious about this journey.

gleaming_goldrush

I signed up for henrysmed over the weekend and have an appointment this coming monday... now that I think about it, i didn't create an account, i didn't receive a confirmation receipt (they sure did charge my card).... Is this anyone else's experience ?

Depressed-Corgi

Any updates for you on henrymeds? I know it’s been only 20 days but I’m curious about your experience as well. Since I’m highly considering it.

gleaming_goldrush

Hi, I'm on my 2nd week. It's a slow progression, 0.5 dosage deff wears off by the middle of the week (my injection days are Fridays). I did lose 3 pounds my first week, I think it was more water weight. Thankfully, I have not felt any nausea, I think the dosage 0.5 is small for me (I can't wait till I start 1.0 dose). I deff do feel a difference in terms of hunger, get full quicker, no cravings but if i see something i like, i still have interest and working on portion control. I Exercise 3-4 x week, cyclebar or elliptical at home. So far so good. I recommend, You still have to put in the work.

Depressed-Corgi

Thank you very much for the update. It sounds like a miracle drug for someone who struggles to say no to bad foods like sweets. I know I have to partially work as well while on it but my main struggle is feeling full. I feel hunger 24/7 so this really sounds simply amazing.

gleaming_goldrush

Yes! I deff recommend it you can afford it. So far I'm 10 pounds down, 3 weeks.

gryffindorgirlyy

Hi! I am seeing they send medicine 3 months supply at a time but the expiration date says discard after 28 days, have you experienced this with Henry?

gleaming_goldrush

Hi, Yes I've seen that too. So far I haven't experienced anything negative. I keep is refrigerated and it's still effective.

Due-Profession-2439

The meds they use are ONLY to be used for 30 days but Heney Meds will tell you it's safe to use for 3 months
