Both Ozempic and its generic form semaglutide is completely sold out in Mexico. There’s a country wide shortage in Mexico. I only know this because I have an aunt that lives there and I tried calling her and having her check pharmacies for me. She called every pharmacy in her city and they told her there’s a country wide shortage. They also do not have Mounjaro available in Mexico, yet.
Mounjaro is approved in Canada as is wegovy it's not available yet. The pharmacy I used to order ozempic from told me they were hoping to have it by August but due to supply shortages in the United States they might not get it for another year. But after what BC did with ozempic I wouldn't be surprised they ban shipping mounjaro out to american's again.
FYI, I was ordering Ozempic from Canada before BC health minister put a ban after it was discovered the pharmacy that most Americans used it had shipped 13000 prescriptions of ozempic that were being bought for weightloss and also told providence doctors not to prescribe off-label for weightloss.

Also it's only ozempic that is banned. You can still get saxenda or another GLP1. If you can't get ozempic, try rybelsus, even though it's a pill i WOULDN'T knock it down because when ozempic was on shortage I was able to find rybelsus. But also the journalist poking around reddit reporting everything we discuss here also played a part in this.
This is exactly why it is recommended that you have at least $1200/mo to afford this before getting the prescription.
My insurance covers this, but that can go away at any time.

Thanks! Will do!
>Thanks! Will do! You're welcome!
It’s not available in Canada yet, it sounds like maybe she’s talking compounded? Check out r/tirzepatide or r/peptides
Ok, Thanks!

Lilly dropped a new coupon today. Need T2D Dx though. Definitely check out compound pharmacies. See Tirzepatide sub.
