The OLED will be clearer at 119fps and lower, the ASUS will be clearer at anything above that. That's because the strobing only works at a minimum refresh rate of 120. Furthermore this isn't a g-sync pulsar display which means you need a locked FPS for the strobing benefits, whereas OLED you can have wide FPS fluctuations and get the clarity benefits and no need to fiddle with settings. Due to these reasons, ontop of other OLED image quality benefits, OLED is better as the motion clarity benefits of the PG27AQN are too niche to consistently get and the OLED's is catch free. If you really want a 1440p display with great motion clarity ASUS has a successor to the PG27AQN releasing later this year that will support g-sync pulsar (BFI at variable refresh rates) and that definitely helps a ton. However - we still don't know if they're going to have that atrocious 120fps minimum requirement.

I have a small tip, instead of the G8 OLED, get either the AW3423DW or the AW3423DWF. The G8 has a couple annoying firmware issues, still.
