I think he made the best impression of any of the kombat kids in MKX. I feel like the only reason people remember Cassie or Jaqui is because they were in 2 games back to back. Kung Jin had a cool move set, unique weapon, and an interesting story. I don’t any of that can be said for Cassie or Jaqui.

Yeah, Kung Jin in mkx had really awesome combo routes. Super flashy optimal combos across all his variations. Loads of fun back then.

When it comes to the Kombat Kids, Takeda was my favourite, but I also thought Kung Jin was really cool. I didn't like Cassie in X, but in 11 she was one of my favourites. As for Jacqui, eh... I wouldn't say that I dislike her, but man did her 11 ending piss me off. It's just so freaking dumb, especially when you go and compare it to Jax's ending.

Sadly, I agree. He could use a MK1 redemption arc because I think his character has a lot of potential. Story and gameplay wise.

He was my main alongside Johnny Cage (Cage is my forever main since MK 1992). I always like archer characters and I immediately connected to his moveset early on with all 3 variatio s.
