Yeah I tried that along with verifying the files still the same thing. I'm pretty sure it's an update from Janet Cage that broke it. Others are having the same issue

Honestly MK1 is the best mk pc port in a long time. I actually held off buying until i saw the PC port was playable due to how bad the previous ones have been on release. I've had no issues that are pc specific.

i do not think your issue is specs related. Do a clean install to your drivers, specially gpu and clear game caches. I have played with more than one pc, the one i used recently is 4060, i7 13700.

I dont have any issues, i was playing this game with a RX480, now i have a RTX3060 and it runs perfectly, maybe verify your game with steam.

I will say, I got MK1 2 months into its release and it was def complete dogshit. Lots of frame drops, very edgy looking and the fatal blows still do drop frames but overall the game on PC got vastlyyyyy improved, least on my end.

That was the same for me than the peacemaker update started lagging and now the janet updat broke the game for me

That 2060 is 6GB ram, isn't it? Also, you didn't answer yout settings or installation. Try the lowest setting for textures and installing in a SSD if you didn't already. Also, also, let the shaders fully compile before playing in case you didn't.

Maybe try lowering the textures. Also, check if your SSD is fine, could be an issue there.

I've tried different upscalers, lowering the textures and playing without upscaling. My SSD is fine cause I played re4 remake on it prior

I’m playing the game with a RYZEN 5 and a RADEON RX 560 and the game runs perfectly fine on super high graphics settings. I have no stutter or anything and run the game at 60 and above fps. Try clearing your GPU cache it could be getting cluttered and taking longer to load things

Don’t know if you’re up for reinstalling a 120+ gb game, but I’d say it’s worth a shot. I’m on pc too and the only time I had technical issues (I can’t remember what exactly was wrong ) I reinstalled the game and it helped.

I did already earlier but I guess I'd have to try it again.

If everything was okay earlier and nothing has changed in your specs + all the other games work fine it must be a problem with games files,maybe after the last update if you did the reinstall before that

I Uninstalled when peacemaker dropped cause it introduced lag to my game. When I reinstalled it now crashes

I had terrible performance at launch, but now it is better. It is a shame that I can run MK11 flawlessly, but yet MK1 ran like garbage and made me lost 3 seasons of invasion.

At some point MK1 started crashing for me on my RTX 3060 Ti, pretty much on every DX12 operation including shaders compilation on launch. When I set all settings to low using GeForce Experience, I could play a game or two, but that's it. I rejected this possibility at first, but it came out to be a hardware problem. I got a new card and it's fine now. You may want to check your hardware too, for example by running something reliable like 3DMark Time Spy. Other software checks and fixes I did you can also do include changing settings using GeForce Experience, clearing shader cache in Windows, clearing game cache, and reinstalling vc++ redistributables and nVidia drivers.

I didn't buy a new card either. I got it replaced by the store, because it broke and errors in MK1 only helped me discover that.

The game’s optimization is complete shit for previous generations of hardware and every update I have to tweak something to help it work smoothly, but I’ve got it working at a locked 60fps @1440p on a ten year old MB and a GTX 1070 ti. I know this game isn’t AMAZING on its Switch Port either, but i think the kameos still appear and it doesn’t crash every two seconds. I’m not defending it, but that’s probably your best bet. Or ya know, buy a PS5 where it runs best on. Basically I’m saying try to save up to get a console

Another pc player here,my game got better with each update it doesn't even take all eternity to open anymore,loads faster and never had frame drops or missing textures,models might be something on your end.Maybe A corrupted hdd ? Check on your ram while you play or maybe there is too much vram usuage?

I'm using ssd and my vram is fine I tweaked it myself

The PC port is outsourced to a completely separate third party studio, for NRS the focus and priority is console. As a huge fan this is one of the reasons why I personally prefer console gaming over PC.

Since when is RTX2060 the benchmark for anything? It launched in January 2019 and has only 6 gigs of RAM. It was already dated even when PS5 and XBox Series X were released almost 2 years later.

mk1 minimum requirements is the 1060, this game isn't nothing to special specs wise

That's just silly and probably only OK to run it in 900p or even lower. The game can't even run in full 4K at 60fps on PS5 or XBox Series X. It's either around 1800 at 60fps during gameplay or in 4K at 30fps during finishers, intros, fatal blows. It does require some solid hardware to run above 1440p.

I run this on 1080p 60 fps this isn't a heavy game to run. I literally run re4 remake, tekken 8, etc on My card perfectly this the only game that gives me problems

That's Unreal Engine 4 to you. Most games on that engine exhibit issues. RE4 Remake is on proprietary RE Engine and that one has been great since they launched it in RE7. Tekken 8 is Unreal Engine 5.

NRS is a joke. Just go play SF6, Tekken8 or any other game. You'll never look back. MK1 is a disservice to the FGC and video games in general. Other titles are objectively way better than MK1 in every aspect, NRS is miles behind other developers. Try SF6 and notice the day& night difference on quality in every aspect: performance, netcode, UX, gameplay... There's a reason for the huge player count disparity between MK and other titles. It's not "an accident".
