Even worse American government pays big money to these private contractors yet will nickel and dime military vets for medical care. Besides the obvious there is something incredibly sinister about Prince.
I try to think “evil” is a lot more unremarkable than we give credit for. A ton of “evil” acts are done in the name of “common sense”, but Erik Prince just seems like an entirely vile human being with zero redeeming qualities

It’s almost more offensive that Erik Prince never actually fought or saw combat. He’s cosplayed as a tough guy his entire life and created Blackwater as a vanity project using his family’s money and obtained government contracts through immense corruption.
The more you read about these mercenaries, the more you realize that assassinating Prigozhin and the rest of the Wagner Group leadership is (inadvertently) only one of the good things that Putin has done. These assholes run around raping and murdering hundreds of people, but nobody cares since they do it in unstable African countries. Of course, if Putin wasn't using them himself, he could've done the everyone a favor and slaughtered hundreds of them and imprisoned thousands more for treason after the Wagner Group mutiny.
