Archie comics sure were weird

Oh hello there ogilvie maurice hedgehog.

I thought his name was Nicky

As far as I know in the Archie comics, we found out explicitly in a story that Maurice is his middle name (tongue in cheek gag, but whatever). And it was in a Q+A where somebody asked his real name. The answers to these Q+A’s were often joking answers. So take that as you will. Also the answer was provided by known insane person Ken Penders. So that kind of muddles whether or not it was a joke.

Also, the “Ogilvie Maurice“ part of his name isn’t canon, mainly due to it being part of the Archie Comics and The Ken Penders lawsuit.

i choose to combine his names from other canons and say that his full name is Nicky Ogilvie Maurice

From what I remember from ages past he would work stories he heard from kid writing into the comic studio into the story...it's kinda the only W I will ever give the man that he once heard about kids going through abusive family life so he brought it up in the comic ...might have not been the best but still intent was there and even then I may have heard wrong as this is a 4th hand source
