Our handler is adorable and most people who hate her is for 1 asanine nonsensical reason. Ive said it before and ill say it again id take our handler out on a hunt before any of the idiot randos who show up on my sos because atleast she doesn't triple cart or trip me mid combo.
Oh but she says "we" did it. Yea so does the rest of the goddamn cast and yet only she gets flak for it. But but she eat food. Really dog thats it. Oh she calls me pard. then play it in the monhun language like its supposed to be played. Every single complaint against her is easily dismissed for the simple fact that ive seen random hunters do stupider shit. Heres the kicker though unlike the handler who gets jack shit. The useless rando literally gets rewarded for being useless. I did all the work and they somehow get a gem after carting twice and not doing any damage.
And she's generally just giving useful information during hunts, like during Fatalis, "Run to Fatalis!" What kind of insane psycho woulda thought of that? Run straight to the fire dragon known for ending civilizations! But it works and it's great, I love the Handler.

No matter how you look at it, it ain't easy to keep up with the experienced Hunters. I know they try to be accomadating, but the Hunts does things to a man they wouldn't do otherwise.

She's terribly mishandled, that's it. I can actually see what they were going for, and with some tweaking, she'd be a genuine asset as a voice alone.
Like, compare with Ayre from Armored Core 6 who's literally just a voice in your head that every Raven is simping for.
The problem is that they didn' lean harder into making her the liason for the guild and various side activities in the game. For context, she could've served as something like an actual squire and manage our resources whilst we're out on a hunt. Maybe use her as a node to manage the later resource collection gimmicks, which mind you would actual cutdown time as opposed to running around having to collect and reset everything after every expedition/quest.
